Should Pokemon Catcher Be Made Into a League Promo?

Remember Rare Candy UL, yep. That's my answer, not gonna help heaps, people will buy them for HEAPS.
 
The difference between Rare Candy and Pokemon Catcher is that (besides the DEX print) there has been one print of Catcher. People could've just used old Rare Candy.
 
I'd love them to do it, but based on the recent trend of league promos (UNFEZANT LOL!!!), I don't see it as likely. Before this format they did print some really nice gems as league promos, e.g. DCE in recent history.
Just think of all the cool stuff they could print as league promos. Level Ball, Heavy Ball, N, Pokemon Catcher, the Bianca we never got...

It was nice having a DCE as a league promo, but at catchers price, I seriously doubt it.
It's like getting a reshiram EX as a league promo.
 
This would be very nice because a lot of the time decks are expensive to build due to the 12-15 dollar catchers. Although, ppl who have paid an arm and a leg for their current ones would be mad.
 
well I believe we got pokemon collector as a league promo (or player reward, I forget which >.<) so it would definitely be possible and it would definitely be awesome. I would prefer player reward catcher, since it's like TPCI saying "good job! you've attended enough events so well give you some really good free cards!" Of course getting them at a league is basically the same thing, but idk, a player reward catcher would seem more... special :p

Uxie, Azelf, Dialga G, BTS, and Spiritomb were all league promos as well so it could happen, but HIGHLY unlikely.
 
Unlikely. Catcher is pretty much the only reason anyone would still buy emerging powers packs. Considering how many recent boxed sets have included EP packs, I'm guessing they still have too many in stock.

And remember, Pokemon doesn't care how much a card is worth. They make nothing off of secondary markets. In fact they prefer to devalue cards that soar in price using promos because they'd rather more people had the ability to play good decks...keeps a stronger customer base.

Hey, don't forget dark explorers. (Well, for cheren anyway.)
 
However, Bianca and Cheren are VERY easy to buy for low prices. I bought one Bianca for $0.75 so 4 of those wouldn't even equal one pack. And, if your buying Cheren, go Dark Explorers as it has ALOT better and more expensive cards that you CAN pull.
Anyways, Catcher in EP sounds like TPCi was planning on trolling us.
 
well then by your logic we should all try to pull a playset of golden catcher since DEX has much better cards like you say :p

No, that's not what he's saying at all. He's saying if you want to pull Cheren, buy DEX packs because it has way more playable cards, spare catcher. (which it does have, it's just harder to pull)
 
I'm, not seeing it :| (you would have to open 2 EP boxes to get a playset of catcher anyways, so why not open 2 DEX boxes, get a ton of EX's, and maybe 1 catcher?)

and this is why I buy singles for things like catcher...
 
It's never gonna happen. Catcher was put in that set only to make people buy packs of a terrible set they knew they did bad on.
Also, all of the league promos this format have been nonplayable uncommons and commons. It's disgusting. I'd like to see it happen, but it won't.
I'm still hoping for Full Art Catcher in Thunder Knuckle.

Well, every full-art card so far is a character, but making a full art item...that sounds a little weird...
What I'm trying to say is...Characters can pose for a picture, but a ray-gun shaped object wouldn't really make sense in many different positions when taking photos or drawings.

To the whole thread;
Catcher won't be made into a league promo. It wasn't even put in the EP theme decks...
