Hi peoplez, I felt like posting these BR report because they are so silly. I may or may not add more as the season progresses.
Anyway, I had this Hydreigon/Darkrai built that I had tested and tweaked endlessly until I was absolutely, positively sure that it was ultra-consistent and was just honestly really, really good. It was 60-40 or better against everything except Mewtwo/Terrakion/Bouffalant, which was about 50-50, and Garbodor, which was like 25-75. So after the 2 1/2 hour drive (got the longest out of the way first!), I think I only played one game pre-tournament, against a Rufflet/Ho-Oh EX/Tornadus EX deck, and I thought it was weird that he only ran 2 Ho-Oh EX. My deck is really good against Ho-Oh, even if it does hit Rebirth flips, and I won even after he went first and got a T1 Chirp.
The actual games of this report aren't going to be all that detailed honestly as they were just kind of funny and not really in-depth.
Off the top of my head, I think there were 13 Seniors and 4-6 Juniors, so we got mixed!
Round 1 and 2
I played against Juniors BOTH times (lol) and won while letting (sort of) them take two prizes during my setup. Once my deck get sets up, there's really not much you can do. However, my R2 opponent was actually pretty good, so he got another prize via Volt Bolt before I got 3 prizes on one turn with Darkrai to win. Golden Catcher ftw!

Round 3 vs. Aformentioned Ho-Oh player.
So, at this point I am thrilled. Right now, there are 4 2-0s (there are 4 rounds). Me, my opponent, my friend with Zekrom EX/Mewtwo EX/Terrakion/Eels (a lot easier of a matchup for HD than is seems), and someone playing Fluffychomp (I've tested that SO much and have only lost once). So I think I can win this. WELL. They mess up the pairings, and my friend with Eels, gets paired against a 1-1 Junior who can't play the game, this killing his resistance, because they entered into the computer that his opponent had won, when really my friend had won. So, they should repair right because that screws up the whole tournament. There are potentially 2 4-0s at the end. Anyway, here is how my game went. I start: Dark Patch, Dark Energy x2, Blend, Deino x2, and Zweilous. He starts lone Tornadus EX but I win the flip. I draw Catcher. Attach to bench, and pass. He gets DCE and Skyarrow. wut. Now I need him to get no energy for Power Blast or me to draw something. NOPE. I evolve to Zweilous and proceed to get Power Blasted. I don't know about you but that is close enough to what I can call a donk. Great. 2-1
SO, if I hadn't gotten donked, I probably would've won against the rest of the undefeateds just thanks to matchups, but noooooo. I get paired against the one and only...
Round 4 vs. Garbodor/basic box
Of course I lose, I have not much hope against this deck. One Catcher is prized, and he gets everything he wants when he wants it. I decked and lost on time at the same time.
2-2 if I had won that last game, I would've made 3rd. There were two undefeateds at the end, so someone who never lost a game didn't win. ALSO, my friend w/Eels went 3-0, and then versed Garchomp, which is a great matchup for him.
BUT, he starts lone Terrakion, and has 3 Switch prized. So, after going to time, he lost. However, he should've gotten second because the HJ messed up on the parings earlier and should've repaired so there would only be one undefeated at the end, so my friend could've even gotten first! Oh well, the HJ's has run tournaments that for a while, he knows what he's doing and it's just one BR so idk. My other friend, playing Hydreigon/Eelektrik, went 2-2. He just built the deck last night so was just getting some practice with it. It is good so he can expect decent results at the following BRs. Thanks for reading!

ookeey dokey, MOAR INSANITY- BR number 2 (missed the one in between these two)
I built Darkrai/Terrakion the day before and tested some, but I was on the fence between four decks all the way until my friend (same one who got 4th the other BR) and I got to the tournament. I really couldn't decide between Terrakion/Darkrai, Hydreigon/Darkrai, Hydreigon NVI/Eels (so intriging), or Durant/Hammers/Sableye. I liked all of them and decided 15 minutes before registration to run Terrakion/Darkrai. I like to call it Darrakion or Elite 4, because they're only four different Pokemon-here is the Pokemanz line:
3 Darkrai EX
3 Terrakion NVI
2 Sableye DEX
1 Mew EX (It's actually good in this deck; Mewtwo with 7+ energy is really hard without it.)
Anyway, I played 4 eel decks lololol- here is Round 1.
I had an incredibly slow start with 3/5 of fighting energies and 2/4 Catchers prized; as opposed to her start going first with a T1 Charge and T2 KO on my Sableye. I keep whiffing Fighting Energies and I'm like... "what is up?" Then I search my deck and dissect my prizes (Sort of)... oh. I eventually got double Eels KO with Darkrai after going down two prizes (both Sableye I think) At one point (I have no idea when), she Tool Scraps a Eviolite, Motors and attaches to a Ray EX with a Lightning and Fire already on it, and KO's my Darkrai. At one point, I lock her down with N and Catcher to help me setup, and take a triple prize with Night Spear. I honestly don't remember that much off the top of my head on how this game went. But, at one point, it was 2-4 in prizes, her ahead, so I guess my triple prize was after that, and I think my first two prizes were on a Catchered Raikou. I won with one or two cards left in my deck. It was an incredibly well-played game from both sides.

Round 2 vs. my friend with Eels
He was playing a (kind of) abnormal eels list, but at one point I double KO eels and he gets nothing from there after getting one prize from a Terrakion, he really just got unlucky, I swept with him only taking one prize.

Round 3 Eels with 2 Tornadus EX (which my deck hates)
So I think I go first and get T2 Retaliate KO on a Tynamo, as well as a T3 Catcher-Land Crush on a Raikou, so I'm up 3 prizes on T3. However, he mounts an amazing ridiculous comeback with Eviolite, Mewtwo, BOTH Tornadus EX, and Max Potion. Once, with Mewtwo, he had a small hand and a really unlikely chance of having the DCE needed to KO darkrai with Mewtwo, but he got it and it went downhill for me from there. Unfortunately, my Mew EX has yet to help because I had to Juniper it on T1. This was a good game I guess.

Round 4
WAIT, here is my statisctics of getting 2 or 3 or 4 place, I think. So, My r3 opponent has to win, I have to win, and my friend has to win (my R3 opponent is my friend too btw). This is what I think would get me 2nd or 3rd. However, I get DOWNPAIRED, my friend gets donked and my r3 opponent loses. That is like the worst sequence of events EVER. lol (in a bad way) At least I won... but I would've gotten fifth I think if I lost as well. These two Battle Roads were just outright silly! I'm sure things like this happen to you (the reader) but probably not twice (yes, different things happened, but same idea) at the very beginning of the season. Anyway, I guess winning 2 states or getting second at two Regionals and winning 4 Cities gets you an invite Hope that happens. Oh yeah, here is how r4 went for me,; it's kind of interesting.
I have a decent start and he goes first. His hand (with draw for turn) is amazing: Juniper, Lightingx2, Tynamox2, Level Ballx2, and Ultra Ball. He misplays though and gets two Eels instead of two Tynamos with the Level Balls (he smartly grabs Tornadus EX with Ultra Ball), and mid shuffle I point the mistake out, not like in a mean way because he's my friend too (pretty much everyone is there) but he really wants to take it back mid-shuffle and I feel like a jerk denying him that. So he has to Juniper two Eels. Eventually he gets out Tornadus EX and starts power Blasting away but I pull off ridiculous SSU and/or Dark Patch and/or Energy Switch and/or Ultra Ball comboes two turns in a row and eventually 3HKO the Eviolited Tornadus EX, while sniping an Eviolited Zekrom EX for 10 on two Night Spears. Then he KOs my Darkrai with Mewtwo but since I have two prizes left thanks to Tornadus kill and double Tynamo kill earlier I just Catcher-Retaliate Zekrom EX for the win. I was upset at 5th two days in a row, especially with silly chain of events both days but whatevs. Pokemon is still fun and I hope to do better! Thanks for reading!

Round 1 vs. Arcanine NXD/Fliptini/EXs that go with fire.
(Such as Ho-Oh (not really), Reshi, Rayqua, maybe Entei and maybe tornadus.)
This round wasn't really hard. He goes first and gets a somewhat lucky celestial roar with Fliptini, Growlithe and I think Reshi EX on bench. I attach eviolite to darkrai just in case of him having a lightning for t2 180. He doesn't get much on his t2 and I get a t2 Darkrai. I get double KO on Fliptini and Rayquaza EX on t3. He then brings in Reshi EX and gets a Glinting Claw heads. I night spear and snipe another Fliptini. He Brave Fire KOs me and then I get another Darkrai and double KO his Reshi EX and Fliptini on T5. Super nice opponent though as usual.
Round 2 vs Zekeels w/out Mewtwo and w/ Empoleon and Kyogre EX
I got downpaired. This dude came from VA which I thought was impressive, but I demolished his Zekrom EX with Terrakion and after he Rescue Scarfed it I catcher-KO'ed it again. I had 60 on an Eel from an earlier Night Spear so I catchered his other Eel and Night Speared for game. I LOVE Darkrai so much. Pretty much every game I play with this deck I either demolish Raikous with Terrakion or get fun double KOs with Darkrai.
Round 3 vs a good person (silly Hunter) w/ Mewtwo/Raikou/Max Potion/Eels
He gets nothing, and gets all his Thunder Wave tails with Tynamo so I sweep him with Terrakion. he starts to mount a minor comeback but I win with a Catcher-Night Spear. Everything went my way that game.
Round 4 vs BRUCE w/ same Garbodor/Registeel deck I played against in BR #1.
A number of things went wrong this game I started lone Mewtwo and went second. (I went second EVERY GAME) He got SSU heads when he needed it 1/1. HE topdecks the one card that he needed to stay in the game when he had a very slim chance of getting it. Both times he Ns me I had amazing hands and got a not-so-great one. and GARBODOR. When I look back, I realize how unlucky this really is. Anyway I lost. I got fourth because my resistance sucked. That made me sad. Bruce now has 52 points and I have 10. omgwowfail. Congrats Bruce at least you're a hillarious person so I still like you. 390 points to go...

I was playing a weird fun ThunderBulls deck but I don't want to give away the lines or list just yet.
Round 1 vs. Hydreigon/Darkrai
So I built his deck, gave him a ride, and had auto-win (basically) matchup against his deck, but nooo, I whiff everything the whole game Seriously, I know I made both of our decks the day before, but I still just whiffed everything! It was sad. He had a terrible start and a painful Juniper, but he came back and somehow won.

I start lone Mewtwo, attach to it every turn, sweep his whole deck. Not even fun. Well... sorta fun.

I start with nothing but after she takes 1-2 prizes with an overloaded Mewtwo I topdeck N and she doesn't get much from that so I get to KO her Mewtwo and she is stuck with no energy on the board. next turn I Catcher KO the only Garbodor I see all game and it's easy pickings from there.

hehe finally get to play him. This is one of the more interesting games I played this season. He goes first and uses Drillbur's Hone Claws on t1

I have a pretty good start and get T1 Charge and 2 Tynamos out. He then flips heads on a Twist Mountain to get Aerodactyl out and gets another one with Old Amber! Wow. Then, he Scratches me with Drillbur for the T2 KO. wut did that really happen. Honeclaws + Ancient Scream + Ancient Scream + Scratch damage + Thundurus' weakness = KO.
30 + 10 + 10 + 10 x 2 = 120 Well, I get out Mewtwo and attach to it and Thunder wave paralyze him twice in a row. Meanwhile he's powering up a Terrakion EX. I then Catcher a Groudon with no energy and start X Balling for 40. I'm setting up my board now and he can't get a Switch, so he's not even bothering attaching to Groudon. I X Ball again for 40 and then again for 60. His Groudon now has 140. Then I Switch back to Terrakion and PlusPower Retaliate KO so I can start Dynamotoring to my Mewtwo because I know he doesn't run any. He brings in a regular Terrakion and Retaliates. He also benches Regigigas EX, hoping I don't have the energy and Catcher. Well, I have the Fighting and Catcher so I take two more prizes on a poor unsuspecting Regigigas EX. Next turn he KOs me but I have the Catcher + superloaded Mewtwo on Terrakion EX for game. gg boss

Round 5 vs. my friend with Terrakion/Mewtwo/Zekrom EX/Eels
If I win I place. No bubbles this tournament! He goes first and I have a bad hand. he gets out two Tynamos and gets a Lightning on Mewtwo but has to pass. I get the T1 Charge and it's a bit of a blur after that. I know he gets the first prize, so i guess I whiffed the Catcher, but after that he doesn't get anything he wants and has to Juniper 3 Switch. He doesn't get anything for a while and once he has 4 Catcher and 4 Switch in the discard and I have 2 prizes I know I have won because I have a superloaded Mewtwo on my bench. he gets set up at the end but then it's too late. I feel bad knocking out my friend but at least a win is a win.

Unfortunately, I ended up getting 4th, but I pulled a SHINY RAYQUAZA in my TWO PACKS so it's worth it. BRUCE the troll won again so he's at a freakin 67 Points while my two friends and I going for Worlds are sitting at 20.

At Hillsborough I'm freaking out because I don't know what I'm playing and on the car ride my friend Wesley suggests his Serperior/Registeel deck. (It auto-losses Garbodor and I didn't know that would be the most popular deck that day) I say that I MAYBE will try it because he already has it built and is not using it. I was thinking about Darkrai/Terrakion, Darkrai/Hydreigon w/ 3 Mewtwo, and ThunderBulls. In the end I had not the time for building anything so I just got my friend's Registeel/Serperior (which is legit) and changed 7 cards from it. Unfortunately it had no Catcher, I couldn't even make room for it and it seems unneeded because you spread and tank and have Mewtwo as a Mewtwo check. I thought it was a good deck so I played it. Anyways...
Round 1 vs. pro Bruce w/ Garbodor/Registeel/Gigas/Mewtwo
WHYYYYYYYY!!!
He starts horribly and has a painful Juniper. I start lone Mewtwo going second. He has to Garbage Collection with Trubbish lol. I kill it w/ Mewtwo and he X Balls for 160. I attach and KO. He brings in Regigigas and attaches. I attempt to set up but I think I whiff energy because he N'ed away my amazing hand (why that always happen against him?!?). I whack the Gigas and he gets a Juniper of a Receiver and gets an energy off that. Next turn he gets Garbodor and starts superloading a Mewtwo. I don't run Catcher and he does so nothing I can do. I try to be strategic but he gets Catchers. I should've thought about my deck choice more instead of just: I hope I don't play Garbodor but if I do I just Triple Laser it 4 times.

We both don't get anything and literally draw-pass for a long time. Eventually I get set up and he doesn't so once I get two loaded Registeel and 4 Serperior he scoops (ragequits).

Round 3 vs. my friend Ben w/ Zekrom EX/Terrakion/Mewtwo/Eels
I don't remember if I go first but I get ahead with 2 Serperiors out t2 I think and t4 another one, and a t2 Triple Laser/t3 Protect Charge against his Mewtwo. he's smart and doesn't use Eels all game (he runs 30 HP Tynamo, whose positives outweigh the negatives in the deck) . I KO the Mewtwo but the game goes sour from there. He brings up Terrakion to save time for his Mewtwo getting charged up and barely does anything with Retaliate. During the course of the game, He hits DCEs and Tool Scrappers on the exact turns every time and honestly gets lucky. Then it came down to my Juniper. I had about a 11 card deck with 2 Mewtwos, 2 DCEs, and a Switch in it. I Juniper and get NONE OF THE ABOVE so lose. wut.

He says he got unlucky and "drew bad". lol. He asked me to help him with his deck so I gave him an incredibly simple Fluffychomp list. There were only 2 Juniors there so he won anyway. 2-2 I didn't bother looking at my placing but
It's me so I definitely got 5th. Bo$$_89 could've gotten fifth as well.

BR NUMBER SIX
Alright, so I make this Terrakion/Mewtwo/Tornadus EX/ 1 Bouffalant deck the night before and when I looked at the finished product I wished with all my heart (insert cheesy music here) that I played it the day before. It gave me a good feeling. Turns out that a lot of people are playing some form of Terrakion/Mewtwo.
Round 1 vs. Ben w/ Terrakion/Mewtwo/Eels (he dropped Zekrom EXs)
I had suspicions about him taking out Zekrom EXs but I was still wary with my second Tornadus EX. What happened with my first Tornadus EX then? Well, I went first with lone Tornadus EX and he starts active (free-retreat 30 HP) Tynamo with Terrakion on the bench. I bench Terrakion and attach DCE for KO on Tynamo. He gets somewhat set up eventually and Catcher-stalls Terrakions sometimes, and my Tornadus EX eventually goes down to Mewtwo EX but not before Power Blasting it. This is a really good back and forth game and time gets called. I have two Terrakions in play. One in the active w/ two energy and one on the bench with one energy. I can't remember if this is T0 or T2 but he has a Mewtwo w/ 90 damage active and he retreats it out. I look at his discard and see 4 Ns and 4 Catchers and so he cannot win because I have a Fighting Energy and a Catcher in hand.

This is honestly an incredibly tough matchup and he demolished my friend R1 who also was playing Terrakion/Mewtwo. He starts lone Swablu and I start lone Mewtwo. I win the flip and attach DCE for the win trolol

Round 3 vs. Giratina/Leavanny DOWNPAIR
Ah down-pair, whatever. He wins the flip with Sewaddle active and Giratina benched to my lone Terrakion. He benched Shaymin EX and attacks for 20 w/ Sewaddle thanks to weakness. I topdeck Bouffalant and attach DCE and Eviolite to it and pass. He attaches to Sewaddle again and attacks for 40. I Switch and KO it w/ Bouffalant. He promotes Shaymin EX and uses Synthesis, trying to Catcher-stall a Terrakion. I hit the Switch (I run 4) and KO his Shaymin w/ Bouffalant. He only gets out a second Giratina from there and they take too long to charge up so I set up and demolish him.

Alright, last time I was against this deck for the win I lost and got 4th, let's not have a repeat of that shall we? I win the flip and since we both start lone Mewtwo, I whack his Mewtwo for 80. He whiffs PlusPower but attaches a Rocky Helmet to Mewtwo and X Balls for 160. What a troll. He also has a Trubbish and I think a Regigigas on the bench. I thankfully hit a Tool Scrapper and attach a DCE to a benched Mewtwo and KO his Mewtwo. He brings in Regigigas and Eviolites and attaches to it. I whack it w/ Mewtwo. He KOs my Mewtwo w/ 160 damage on it and I promote my other Mewtwo. I hit the energy and Tool Scrapper (I run 3) I need to KO his Regigigas. He promotes Trubbish and does not get any basics off his supporter so I win.

Easily win with my Mewtwo. It was funny because I won the flip w/ Mewtwo and DCE and he started w/ a lone basic so I was bloodthirsty for the donk. However, his basic was Cobalion

Round 2 vs. Blaine the lucksack w/ Terrakion/Mewtwo
I get the t1 80 on his Mewtwo but he hits DCE and PlusPower for the t1 KO on mine. ow. I get an easy Mewtwo KO but he again hits DCE and PlusPower. So now he's up 4-2 in prizes. I hit Mewtwo, DCE and PlusPower and really hope that he doesn't have another DCE and PlusPower. WE both run 4 Mewtwo as a fun side-note. He doesn't get it so he Catcher-stalls my eel. Now it's 2-2 in prizes and I realize he has 4 Catchers in the discard so no matter what I win. I did hit the Switch and Catcher on my turn though. He is such a bad sport and was kinda mean afterward. Even though he is my friend.

He is just so used to easily winning Juniors because there is no competition there. I would honestly be surprised if there are more than 5 Juniors in the USA who actually understand the game of Pokemon, like really understand it. lol what am I even talking about, on to R3, for the championship.

Even if I lose I still would've had incredible resistance: 2-1, 2-1, 3-0, but it ended but being 3 2-1s
Anyway he doesn't get much this game and I get exactly what I need when I need it, not really a spectacular game, but he is a good player.

ALSO, my friend w/Eels went 3-0, and then versed Garchomp, which is a great matchup for him.BUT, he starts lone Terrakion, and has 3 Switch prized. So, after going to time, he lost. However, he should've gotten second because the HJ messed up on the parings earlier and should've repaired so there would only be one undefeated at the end, so my friend could've even gotten first! Oh well, the HJ's has run tournaments that for a while, he knows what he's doing and it's just one BR so idk. My other friend, playing Hydreigon/Eelektrik, went 2-2. He just built the deck last night so was just getting some practice with it. It is good so he can expect decent results at the following BRs. Thanks for reading!

ookeey dokey, MOAR INSANITY- BR number 2 (missed the one in between these two)
I built Darkrai/Terrakion the day before and tested some, but I was on the fence between four decks all the way until my friend (same one who got 4th the other BR) and I got to the tournament. I really couldn't decide between Terrakion/Darkrai, Hydreigon/Darkrai, Hydreigon NVI/Eels (so intriging), or Durant/Hammers/Sableye. I liked all of them and decided 15 minutes before registration to run Terrakion/Darkrai. I like to call it Darrakion or Elite 4, because they're only four different Pokemon-here is the Pokemanz line:
3 Darkrai EX
3 Terrakion NVI
2 Sableye DEX
1 Mew EX (It's actually good in this deck; Mewtwo with 7+ energy is really hard without it.)
Anyway, I played 4 eel decks lololol- here is Round 1.
I had an incredibly slow start with 3/5 of fighting energies and 2/4 Catchers prized; as opposed to her start going first with a T1 Charge and T2 KO on my Sableye. I keep whiffing Fighting Energies and I'm like... "what is up?" Then I search my deck and dissect my prizes (Sort of)... oh. I eventually got double Eels KO with Darkrai after going down two prizes (both Sableye I think) At one point (I have no idea when), she Tool Scraps a Eviolite, Motors and attaches to a Ray EX with a Lightning and Fire already on it, and KO's my Darkrai. At one point, I lock her down with N and Catcher to help me setup, and take a triple prize with Night Spear. I honestly don't remember that much off the top of my head on how this game went. But, at one point, it was 2-4 in prizes, her ahead, so I guess my triple prize was after that, and I think my first two prizes were on a Catchered Raikou. I won with one or two cards left in my deck. It was an incredibly well-played game from both sides.

Round 2 vs. my friend with Eels
He was playing a (kind of) abnormal eels list, but at one point I double KO eels and he gets nothing from there after getting one prize from a Terrakion, he really just got unlucky, I swept with him only taking one prize.

Round 3 Eels with 2 Tornadus EX (which my deck hates)
So I think I go first and get T2 Retaliate KO on a Tynamo, as well as a T3 Catcher-Land Crush on a Raikou, so I'm up 3 prizes on T3. However, he mounts an amazing ridiculous comeback with Eviolite, Mewtwo, BOTH Tornadus EX, and Max Potion. Once, with Mewtwo, he had a small hand and a really unlikely chance of having the DCE needed to KO darkrai with Mewtwo, but he got it and it went downhill for me from there. Unfortunately, my Mew EX has yet to help because I had to Juniper it on T1. This was a good game I guess.

Round 4
WAIT, here is my statisctics of getting 2 or 3 or 4 place, I think. So, My r3 opponent has to win, I have to win, and my friend has to win (my R3 opponent is my friend too btw). This is what I think would get me 2nd or 3rd. However, I get DOWNPAIRED, my friend gets donked and my r3 opponent loses. That is like the worst sequence of events EVER. lol (in a bad way
) At least I won... but I would've gotten fifth I think if I lost as well. These two Battle Roads were just outright silly! I'm sure things like this happen to you (the reader) but probably not twice (yes, different things happened, but same idea) at the very beginning of the season. Anyway, I guess winning 2 states or getting second at two Regionals and winning 4 Cities gets you an invite Hope that happens. Oh yeah, here is how r4 went for me,; it's kind of interesting.I have a decent start and he goes first. His hand (with draw for turn) is amazing: Juniper, Lightingx2, Tynamox2, Level Ballx2, and Ultra Ball. He misplays though and gets two Eels instead of two Tynamos with the Level Balls (he smartly grabs Tornadus EX with Ultra Ball), and mid shuffle I point the mistake out, not like in a mean way because he's my friend too (pretty much everyone is there) but he really wants to take it back mid-shuffle and I feel like a jerk denying him that. So he has to Juniper two Eels. Eventually he gets out Tornadus EX and starts power Blasting away but I pull off ridiculous SSU and/or Dark Patch and/or Energy Switch and/or Ultra Ball comboes two turns in a row and eventually 3HKO the Eviolited Tornadus EX, while sniping an Eviolited Zekrom EX for 10 on two Night Spears. Then he KOs my Darkrai with Mewtwo but since I have two prizes left thanks to Tornadus kill and double Tynamo kill earlier I just Catcher-Retaliate Zekrom EX for the win. I was upset at 5th two days in a row, especially with silly chain of events both days but whatevs. Pokemon is still fun and I hope to do better! Thanks for reading!

Round 1 vs. Arcanine NXD/Fliptini/EXs that go with fire.
(Such as Ho-Oh (not really), Reshi, Rayqua, maybe Entei and maybe tornadus.)
This round wasn't really hard. He goes first and gets a somewhat lucky celestial roar with Fliptini, Growlithe and I think Reshi EX on bench. I attach eviolite to darkrai just in case of him having a lightning for t2 180. He doesn't get much on his t2 and I get a t2 Darkrai. I get double KO on Fliptini and Rayquaza EX on t3. He then brings in Reshi EX and gets a Glinting Claw heads. I night spear and snipe another Fliptini. He Brave Fire KOs me and then I get another Darkrai and double KO his Reshi EX and Fliptini on T5. Super nice opponent though as usual.
Round 2 vs Zekeels w/out Mewtwo and w/ Empoleon and Kyogre EX
I got downpaired.
This dude came from VA which I thought was impressive, but I demolished his Zekrom EX with Terrakion and after he Rescue Scarfed it I catcher-KO'ed it again. I had 60 on an Eel from an earlier Night Spear so I catchered his other Eel and Night Speared for game. I LOVE Darkrai so much. Pretty much every game I play with this deck I either demolish Raikous with Terrakion or get fun double KOs with Darkrai.Round 3 vs a good person (silly Hunter) w/ Mewtwo/Raikou/Max Potion/Eels
He gets nothing, and gets all his Thunder Wave tails with Tynamo so I sweep him with Terrakion. he starts to mount a minor comeback but I win with a Catcher-Night Spear. Everything went my way that game.
Round 4 vs BRUCE w/ same Garbodor/Registeel deck I played against in BR #1.
A number of things went wrong this game
I started lone Mewtwo and went second. (I went second EVERY GAME) He got SSU heads when he needed it 1/1. HE topdecks the one card that he needed to stay in the game when he had a very slim chance of getting it. Both times he Ns me I had amazing hands and got a not-so-great one. and GARBODOR. When I look back, I realize how unlucky this really is. Anyway I lost. I got fourth because my resistance sucked. That made me sad. Bruce now has 52 points and I have 10. omgwowfail. Congrats Bruce at least you're a hillarious person so I still like you. 390 points to go...P.S. Bo$$_89 somehow got 2nd

I was playing a weird fun ThunderBulls deck but I don't want to give away the lines or list just yet.
Round 1 vs. Hydreigon/Darkrai
So I built his deck, gave him a ride, and had auto-win (basically) matchup against his deck, but nooo, I whiff everything the whole game
Seriously, I know I made both of our decks the day before, but I still just whiffed everything! It was sad. He had a terrible start and a painful Juniper, but he came back and somehow won.0-1
Round 2 vs Theme deck!
I start lone Mewtwo, attach to it every turn, sweep his whole deck. Not even fun. Well... sorta fun.

Round 3 vs Garbodor/Terrakion/Mewtwo
I start with nothing but after she takes 1-2 prizes with an overloaded Mewtwo I topdeck N and she doesn't get much from that so I get to KO her Mewtwo and she is stuck with no energy on the board. next turn I Catcher KO the only Garbodor I see all game and it's easy pickings from there.

Round 4 vs. Bo$$_89
hehe finally get to play him. This is one of the more interesting games I played this season. He goes first and uses Drillbur's Hone Claws on t1

I have a pretty good start and get T1 Charge and 2 Tynamos out. He then flips heads on a Twist Mountain to get Aerodactyl out and gets another one with Old Amber! Wow. Then, he Scratches me with Drillbur for the T2 KO. wut did that really happen. Honeclaws + Ancient Scream + Ancient Scream + Scratch damage + Thundurus' weakness = KO.
30 + 10 + 10 + 10 x 2 = 120 Well, I get out Mewtwo and attach to it and Thunder wave paralyze him twice in a row. Meanwhile he's powering up a Terrakion EX. I then Catcher a Groudon with no energy and start X Balling for 40. I'm setting up my board now and he can't get a Switch, so he's not even bothering attaching to Groudon. I X Ball again for 40 and then again for 60. His Groudon now has 140. Then I Switch back to Terrakion and PlusPower Retaliate KO so I can start Dynamotoring to my Mewtwo because I know he doesn't run any. He brings in a regular Terrakion and Retaliates. He also benches Regigigas EX, hoping I don't have the energy and Catcher. Well, I have the Fighting and Catcher so I take two more prizes on a poor unsuspecting Regigigas EX. Next turn he KOs me but I have the Catcher + superloaded Mewtwo on Terrakion EX for game. gg boss

Round 5 vs. my friend with Terrakion/Mewtwo/Zekrom EX/Eels
If I win I place. No bubbles this tournament! He goes first and I have a bad hand. he gets out two Tynamos and gets a Lightning on Mewtwo but has to pass. I get the T1 Charge and it's a bit of a blur after that. I know he gets the first prize, so i guess I whiffed the Catcher, but after that he doesn't get anything he wants and has to Juniper 3 Switch. He doesn't get anything for a while and once he has 4 Catcher and 4 Switch in the discard and I have 2 prizes I know I have won because I have a superloaded Mewtwo on my bench. he gets set up at the end but then it's too late. I feel bad knocking out my friend but at least a win is a win.

Unfortunately, I ended up getting 4th, but I pulled a SHINY RAYQUAZA in my TWO PACKS so it's worth it. BRUCE the troll won again so he's at a freakin 67 Points while my two friends and I going for Worlds are sitting at 20.

okay this is fun so I'm updating with BRs 5 and 6. One more after these.
At Hillsborough I'm freaking out because I don't know what I'm playing and on the car ride my friend Wesley suggests his Serperior/Registeel deck. (It auto-losses Garbodor and I didn't know that would be the most popular deck that day) I say that I MAYBE will try it because he already has it built and is not using it. I was thinking about Darkrai/Terrakion, Darkrai/Hydreigon w/ 3 Mewtwo, and ThunderBulls. In the end I had not the time for building anything so I just got my friend's Registeel/Serperior (which is legit) and changed 7 cards from it. Unfortunately it had no Catcher, I couldn't even make room for it and it seems unneeded because you spread and tank and have Mewtwo as a Mewtwo check. I thought it was a good deck so I played it. Anyways...
Round 1 vs. pro Bruce w/ Garbodor/Registeel/Gigas/Mewtwo

He starts horribly and has a painful Juniper. I start lone Mewtwo going second. He has to Garbage Collection with Trubbish lol. I kill it w/ Mewtwo and he X Balls for 160. I attach and KO. He brings in Regigigas and attaches. I attempt to set up but I think I whiff energy because he N'ed away my amazing hand (why that always happen against him?!?). I whack the Gigas and he gets a Juniper of a Receiver and gets an energy off that. Next turn he gets Garbodor and starts superloading a Mewtwo. I don't run Catcher and he does so nothing I can do. I try to be strategic but he gets Catchers. I should've thought about my deck choice more instead of just: I hope I don't play Garbodor but if I do I just Triple Laser it 4 times.

We both don't get anything and literally draw-pass for a long time. Eventually I get set up and he doesn't so once I get two loaded Registeel and 4 Serperior he scoops (ragequits).

Round 3 vs. my friend Ben w/ Zekrom EX/Terrakion/Mewtwo/Eels
I don't remember if I go first but I get ahead with 2 Serperiors out t2 I think and t4 another one, and a t2 Triple Laser/t3 Protect Charge against his Mewtwo. he's smart and doesn't use Eels all game (he runs 30 HP Tynamo, whose positives outweigh the negatives in the deck) . I KO the Mewtwo but the game goes sour from there. He brings up Terrakion to save time for his Mewtwo getting charged up and barely does anything with Retaliate. During the course of the game, He hits DCEs and Tool Scrappers on the exact turns every time and honestly gets lucky. Then it came down to my Juniper. I had about a 11 card deck with 2 Mewtwos, 2 DCEs, and a Switch in it. I Juniper and get NONE OF THE ABOVE so lose. wut.

NOPE. Only draw- 1 Cheren. Plays Milotic, regular Kyurem, Groudon, Kyogre, and Terrakion EX. lol easy one I win this in 4 turns. t2/t3 Triple Laser on Gibles then Protect Charge on Gabite. He says he got unlucky and "drew bad". lol. He asked me to help him with his deck so I gave him an incredibly simple Fluffychomp list. There were only 2 Juniors there so he won anyway. 2-2
I didn't bother looking at my placing but It's me so I definitely got 5th. Bo$$_89 could've gotten fifth as well.

BR NUMBER SIX
Alright, so I make this Terrakion/Mewtwo/Tornadus EX/ 1 Bouffalant deck the night before and when I looked at the finished product I wished with all my heart (insert cheesy music here) that I played it the day before. It gave me a good feeling. Turns out that a lot of people are playing some form of Terrakion/Mewtwo.
Round 1 vs. Ben w/ Terrakion/Mewtwo/Eels (he dropped Zekrom EXs)
I had suspicions about him taking out Zekrom EXs but I was still wary with my second Tornadus EX. What happened with my first Tornadus EX then? Well, I went first with lone Tornadus EX and he starts active (free-retreat 30 HP) Tynamo with Terrakion on the bench. I bench Terrakion and attach DCE for KO on Tynamo. He gets somewhat set up eventually and Catcher-stalls Terrakions sometimes, and my Tornadus EX eventually goes down to Mewtwo EX but not before Power Blasting it. This is a really good back and forth game and time gets called. I have two Terrakions in play. One in the active w/ two energy and one on the bench with one energy. I can't remember if this is T0 or T2 but he has a Mewtwo w/ 90 damage active and he retreats it out. I look at his discard and see 4 Ns and 4 Catchers and so he cannot win because I have a Fighting Energy and a Catcher in hand.

This is honestly an incredibly tough matchup and he demolished my friend R1 who also was playing Terrakion/Mewtwo. He starts lone Swablu and I start lone Mewtwo. I win the flip and attach DCE for the win

Ah down-pair, whatever. He wins the flip with Sewaddle active and Giratina benched to my lone Terrakion. He benched Shaymin EX and attacks for 20 w/ Sewaddle thanks to weakness. I topdeck Bouffalant and attach DCE and Eviolite to it and pass. He attaches to Sewaddle again and attacks for 40. I Switch and KO it w/ Bouffalant. He promotes Shaymin EX and uses Synthesis, trying to Catcher-stall a Terrakion. I hit the Switch (I run 4) and KO his Shaymin w/ Bouffalant. He only gets out a second Giratina from there and they take too long to charge up so I set up and demolish him.

Alright, last time I was against this deck for the win I lost and got 4th, let's not have a repeat of that shall we? I win the flip and since we both start lone Mewtwo, I whack his Mewtwo for 80. He whiffs PlusPower but attaches a Rocky Helmet to Mewtwo and X Balls for 160. What a troll. He also has a Trubbish and I think a Regigigas on the bench. I thankfully hit a Tool Scrapper and attach a DCE to a benched Mewtwo and KO his Mewtwo. He brings in Regigigas and Eviolites and attaches to it. I whack it w/ Mewtwo. He KOs my Mewtwo w/ 160 damage on it and I promote my other Mewtwo. I hit the energy and Tool Scrapper (I run 3) I need to KO his Regigigas. He promotes Trubbish and does not get any basics off his supporter so I win.

Easily win with my Mewtwo. It was funny because I won the flip w/ Mewtwo and DCE and he started w/ a lone basic so I was bloodthirsty for the donk. However, his basic was Cobalion

Round 2 vs. Blaine the lucksack w/ Terrakion/Mewtwo
I get the t1 80 on his Mewtwo but he hits DCE and PlusPower for the t1 KO on mine. ow. I get an easy Mewtwo KO but he again hits DCE and PlusPower. So now he's up 4-2 in prizes. I hit Mewtwo, DCE and PlusPower and really hope that he doesn't have another DCE and PlusPower. WE both run 4 Mewtwo as a fun side-note. He doesn't get it so he Catcher-stalls my eel. Now it's 2-2 in prizes and I realize he has 4 Catchers in the discard so no matter what I win. I did hit the Switch and Catcher on my turn though. He is such a bad sport and was kinda mean afterward. Even though he is my friend.

He is just so used to easily winning Juniors because there is no competition there. I would honestly be surprised if there are more than 5 Juniors in the USA who actually understand the game of Pokemon, like really understand it. lol what am I even talking about, on to R3, for the championship.
Round 3 vs. Daniel w/ Terrakion/Mewtwo
Even if I lose I still would've had incredible resistance: 2-1, 2-1, 3-0, but it ended but being 3 2-1s
Anyway he doesn't get much this game and I get exactly what I need when I need it, not really a spectacular game, but he is a good player.
