I need some clarification on a ruling with Dustox ex. Here's a pic for reference:

Okay, Silver Wind's attack states that if an attack damages the Defending Pokemon next turn, it does an additional 30 damage. So here are my questions:

1) I use Silver Wind and next turn my opponent retreats his Active Pokemon and brings out someone else. Silver Wind's effect is cancelled, correct?

2) I use Silver Wind and KO the Defending Pokemon. Is the new Pokemon my opponent sends out going to be affected by Silver Wind's additional damage effect?

3) I use Silver Wind and next turn I retreat and bring out someone else. The Defending Pokemon was not switched. My new Active Pokemon will gain the additional 30 damage, correct?

I ask because the LM Wobbuffet sort of works this way too with Shadow Tag, if the Defending Pokemon retreats, the effect ends. Plus, I want to know if Silver Wind is just capable of doing a solid 70 damage each turn, regardless of what happens to the Defending Pokemon.

Since everybody is giving different answers, for a cancellation of confusion...1 Is correct. The effect is on the defending poke. For 2, Its on the defending, so so since the defending just got KOed, it won't effect any other poke. For 3, Since the affect resides on the defending poke, any other poke you do damage with to the defending poke will get the 30 bonus.
