Welcome to Tervari, one of the original two clans here on PokéBeach. Tervari specialises in taking members who are new to playing Pokémon VG competitively and training them up to compete with the other clans! Having more users interested in VG will help this subforum to grow, and this is a great place for anyone who wants to learn! n_n
Responsibilities: (please read all)
Members:
- The newest members of the clan.
- To sign up as a member, PM Celever with your rough available times and your time zone. Obviously there will be deviation now and again, since no one works by the hour.
- You will be assigned a tutor, based on time zones and how many tutees each tutor has at the time.
- You must schedule private lessons with your tutors and make sure you turn up to them. If for whatever reason you can't attend a lesson, you must alert your tutor at least 24 hours before the time of the meeting.
- All other responsibilities listed in the rules here, such as participating in wars if needed.
Admins:
- Admins are the most trusted members of the clan.
- You will be added to a Skype group and a conversation on the forums with me. In these places we will discuss decisions such as declaring war, doing pacts, and the like.
- All other responsibilities listed in the rules here.
Tutors:
- Tutors are a type of clan-member exclusive to Tervari!
- Upon signing up, members will be assigned a tutor, most likely based on timezones but also how many tutees each tutor has at the time.
- When you are first promoted into a tutor, you will have a crash course provided by other tutors about how best to teach members about Pokémon.
- You need to ensure you turn up to private lessons with your assigned member(s). If something happens and you can't be on at the time of a meeting, you must tell your tutee at least 24 hours before the time of the meeting.
- If you want to become a tutor yourself, all you have to do is sign up via PM just as a member would, but instead specify that you wish to be a tutor. You'll be quizzed about your previous experience with Pokémon. Skilful members who have been a part of the clan for a long time can also be promoted.
