I was looking at the new cards from Forbidden Light and thought most of them underwhelming, but Yveltal-GX stuck out for some reason. Maybe I just like the Pokémon in general, or the art was particularly eye-catching but I was determined to make it work. Then it hit me. Please keep in mind that I have done no testing whatsoever with this list yet, and some inclusions are based on what I already have and not what I would buy before I took it to a tourney.

The real star of this deck is Yveltal-GX, which is included solely for its attack Death Count GX, which knocks out your opponent's active Pokémon if it has 4 damage counters on it. This is just incredible to me. You could use Tapu Koko's Flying Flip twice at the beginning of the game and put ANYTHING within KO range, or drop two Feather Arrows on anything late-game and take a cheesy win. Now you may be thinking that Buzzwole eats Darkness types for breakfast. Sike, Yveltal-GX is weak to Lightning and resists Fighting! Though its other attacks are nothing noteworthy, it is a brilliant tech in Decidueye/Zoroark that I will definitely shell out for when the set drops.
The rest of this list is fairly regular for a Decidueye/Zoroark build. I would like to play a second Evosoda, but I only have one lol. I was really torn on the Grass/Rainbow energy counts, because I would like to avoid putting damage on Decidueye with Rainbow Energy as I only play one Max Potion, and Razor Leaf one-shots Lycanroc with Choice Band and no Feather Arrow. However, Death Count GX requires a Darkness energy and I really need to play Rainbow Energy because of this.
Let me know what your thoughts are on this, because I would really love to see Yveltal-GX get a little love!
