Skittles (Ho-Oh-EX)

This doesn't look like an unlimited deck, just sayin :p

Anyways, I'd drop the collectors for dual balls. You don't need that drastic of a setup, and you want to use a draw supporter every turn. I'd also max out sage's training. Otherwise, looks good.

Maybe because when ho-oh comes out some cards will be rotated? Or ho-oh hasn't been released yet in the states?

I still don't see how that makes it an unlimited deck. Anyhoo, I would reccomend a non-EX attacker.

I don't think that will be a good idea. It will take too long to setup and will just be cathered and KOd. And I think 1 cleffa is enough. Its all thats needed really.

I didn't think so either...

I think what will make or break this deck is the balance of energies. That determines what Pokemon I can play, cause as of now I can can only run something that takes {C} energy without messing up the flow. 2 of every type really helps Ho-oH, but what else can abuse this.

What made Skittles good was Togekiss GE. In this format, we have Electrode Prime, which can help us with our acceleration issue. Although his Poke-Power works half the time, it's not terrible. Nonetheless, banking on discarding Ho-Oh with multitudes of Energy can be slow if we don't get a Juniper or a few Sage's ready to go. I would definitely run Electrode Prime alongside Ho-Oh to really increase the speed of this deck. You can stack the Energy when you boom, or spread 'em onto other Ho-Ohs.

I completely forgotten about electrode! duh. at the cost of losing a prize I get to thin out my deck possibly send a Ho-oh and unneeded energies to the discard or just spread energies to the bench. Then I could possibly run a twins. the down side is I could end up discarding. a needed trainer/supporter

+3-2 Electorde for now

But once you think of how long it will set archeops up...and without the help of some trainers...

I know it would be impossible to setup, but once you got it setup, if you ever did get setup, that would be so annoying. Isnt there a stadium coming out that lets you play Revived Pokemon to the bench?

No one who has Doctor Who in their signature is stupid!
Pokemon is cool...

Think about Energy Search?

hold up!

before we go any further with this I need a card ruling. I believe to have misunderstood Ho-Oh's ability and led all of you to think like I did. It says "This ability can be used 1 time during your turn if this card is in your discard pile. Flip 1 coin. If heads, attach 3 different Basic Energy cards to this card and play it onto your Bench."

After looking at it for a brief second I'm starting to think the energies need to be your hand in order to attach them to Ho-Oh, not the discard pile. or is it both? IDK it doesn't specify where the three energies are to come from.

Now that I've looked at it closely I'm kind of thinking the same thing too...
I thought that the energies had to come from your discard. I'm pretty sure its that because of the sage's and juniper in this deck.
