Is there actually a Sleep Clause for Spore? I was playing in a Pokemon B/W Video Game Tournament (Double Flat Battle) when one of my friends told me that you can't use Spore on two Pokemon out at once, is that legal or against the rules?
That's what I meant, Sleep Clause. Thanks I didn't realize about that Clause before but now I know. I have a Pokemon that knows Spore but should I get rid of it to make sure I don't Spore twice by breaking the Sleep Clause, should I?
As far as I know the VGC 2011 Tournament Rules do include Sleep Clause unless If I'm mistaken...
^No they do not. In Standard OU Play, sleep clause would be a rule. VGC however, does not play by the sleep clause. That's why Darkrai and Smeargle were both popular last year and the year before- Dark Void hits both opposing pokemon, so you could put them both to sleep.
Darkrai wasn't allowed though...but you could just be talking about a Smeargle that was like Darkrai. I'm still confused as to why that was allowed, as you couldn't normally see a Darkrai that knew Dark Void unless through hax.
