What are the best sleeves to use? I was thinking of purchasing Rotom sleeves, but they are 13 dollars. Are they any better than a random pack of sleeves? Is there such a thing as a sleeve that lasts more than one tourney AND playtesting that has a Pokemon design? Or at least a long period of time? I shuffle pretty hard too, I kind of riffle shuffle, except I take one part of the deck, and cram it in to the other, for a riffle effect. Any ideas?

Ive used some japanese sleeves like the blue arceus and the black pokeball for a long while. Diamond and pearl pre-release sleeves are very good aswell.

These sleeves I use and I shuffle hard:
PL Prerelease (very strong.)
Giratina JPN (very strong)
Dialga JPN (both strong and expensive)
Professor (very strong)
GE Prerelease (I've used them since '08)
I don't use these but I've tested them before:
RR Prerelease (same jazz as PL)
LA Prerelease (^)
UD Prerelease (^)

if your riffle shuffling without bending the cards/sleeves, then any type of sleeves should be fine. inserting half a deck into another half deck doesnt really stress the sleeves themselves. and you can overhand shuffle as hard as you want.
i've been using plain ol ultra pro sleeves and they've lasted me for over a year now.

I'd say the celebi sleeves are best. Arceus isn't that bad. Don't use Unleashed.

Thanks everyone :)

@Ogeray: Well, the problem is that the sleeves peel or get damaged if I shuffle them. The Ultra Pros (Plain ones) get their corners bent, and the PR and the Ultra Pros with the designs on them peel.

Well, it seems I can't find a price better than the RR Prerelease sleeves, so I guess I'll get those.

i guess, im a real careful shuffler, so i never had any problems with sleeves peeling or corners bending too much
whatever works for you i guess

SV sleeves are ok..Arceus sleeves are amazing..and my Unleashed sleeves aren't that bad (I used them all at spring battle roads, states, nats) and still use them with no significant damage.

I use the Professor Program sleeves, and those are REALLY good quality. Just a note.

I have used dragon shield, KMC, and the UD PR sleeves and I have to say so far my favorite are the KMC's as they are not too thick and don't stick as much as the Dragon Shield's do after awhile. You can also get 80 sleeves for about $6 so you can sleeve a deck and have some left over for tears or strange wear.

The only thing I would use arceus sleeves on is my arceus deck. I like ultra pro, and now I like dragon shield best, just like the texture.

I think my rotom sleeves were 8$ from Collector's Cache, but I see they're temporarily out.
I've never really had any experience with sleeves that aren't ultra pro, but they hold up alright. I'd recommend plain black Ultra Pro to anyone, they're pretty durable and black makes it harder to see imperfections.

I only have used dragon shields,pr sleeves and Japanese Pokemon Center sleeves. Most of the time i use PR sleeves but Japanese PC sleeves for my best decks.

Only sleeves i've used are ultra pro sleeves, i can only recommend those, they're quite good in my opinion, the dialga sleeves look pretty nice too, but they're so expensive ._.

I use the triumphant prerelease sleeves, and I ended up doubling up on sleeves, at where I go to league they sell cheap 100 count clear plastic sleeves, which can fit over the sleeves I use. They're really cheap and only cost a buck, plus it helps protect your sleeves.

I prefer Dragon Sleeves. All of the other's always tear on the corners because I'm an aggressive shuffler. My blue dragon sleeves are great, no rip yet and I've been using them for almost two months. What's great is for $10 you get 100 of them, so if one does rip, you have plenty of extras. The box is also a nifty temporary deckbox. I kept mine for the extra sleeves (I have about 400 assorted sleeves I don't use, lol).

I use the good old Ultra Pro you can get from your local Walmart with the plain back surface. I tend to stay away from anything with a glossy black because of the difficulty in using half deck over half deck technique(they seem to sorta stick). I only have one set of Prerelease sleeves in the form of Triumphant and I have no stand out problems with them so they are ok to me.

Can you buy Dragon Shield sleeves in stores? Or can you only buy them online? If I recall correctly I've never seen them before.
