I have heard that Slowking's "mind games" pokebody is something different in japan, can someone verify this, and tell me what the real text behind this card is.

p.s. is there a banned list in unlimited if so what is it?
 
That is correct. In Japanese, Slowking's Pokemon Power can only be used when he is Active. In English, he can use it from the Bench, which is what makes it broken.

If memory serves, the only banned cards in Unlimited are ______'s Pikachu and Ancient Mew. It'd be great to get confirmation though, I'm not completely sure.
 
That is correct; those are the only cards banned in Unlimited play.
 
actually, that is now obsolete.

Ancient Mew is the only banned card.

Since OP requires a birthdate for tournaments, _____'s Pikachu is useable in unlimited since birthdate can be checked.
