Pokemon sneasel changed color

I would like to know why the color of the feathers on sneasel's head changed from light blue to pink?
Does anyone have an answer?

Color technology from the GBC to the GBA got better.

Crystal was still a Game Boy Color game, E-SAGE.

well actually, like 90% of pokemon sprites changed (color/ features/ etc) from one game to the other.... especially in the earlier generations
so its not just sneasel

Well, it couldn't evolve it back then. And maybe they liked Sneasel. Little kids train random Pokemon up to Lv.100. ;p

I never noticed that color change actually. ;o

Yeah I know, but G/S were ported for the original gameboy as well. Crystal was only for GBC.

^^so im not the only one who understands the truth? Lol. Actually, I always thought sneasel had red feather stuff, all the time. My mistake!

Its more than obvious than already said, the technology from 1999-2000 (Japanese release dates) improved greatly. When G/S were made they weren't able to put the accurate colour on the cartridge.

The sneasel changed colour because the didnt know what they really wanted and I dont think they had the knack of making a good pink back then.
