So I just wanted to take a break from meta decks and decided to try and build something that would probably sound terrible on paper - to see if I could actually make it work.
The general idea is to use Brigette and Magical Ribbon asap to set up Solgaleo for Sol Burst and then attack with Xerneas Break/switch between Solgaleo-Xerneas-Sylveon with Ultra Road when necessary. (The Geomancy attack of basic Xerneas probably should never be used in this deck as it is a wasted turn - the priorities are Magical Ribbon and Sol Burst.)
Solgaleo can also attack if really needed, but most likely only once per game, so the attack should only be used if it's _really_ needed to 1 shot something and Xerneas can't do it. Otherwise - if you manage to execute the strategy - Xerneas will be able to hit for quite good numbers fairly quickly. (A consistent 180-160 is not uncommon, and that is without Choice Band.)
I am aware of the fact that this deck probably wouldn't be able to go too far in the current format due to obvious reasons, but I am excited to see if it could be made into a rouge deck post-rotation. The few runs I had with the deck online showed that the strategy can actually be pulled off. (Even if the opponent spams N.)
The current build is a weird current format standard-post rotation mix; I don't run any VS Seekers, and I have 3 Field Blowers and 2 Switches to be prepared for different forms of ability lock. I also don't run a 4-4 Xerneas line because I want to reduce the chances of drawing into the Break when I still can't play it, and later I can recycle it with Super Rod/Rescue Stretcher. Plus, it's more than likely that I will only have room for 2 Xerneas Break at the same time on the bench anyway.
