I really like it. I thinks it is better than Mario Kart and ironically it is faster than any other Sonic Game.

Ever.

I think the way to get more characters is stupid. You have to buy them with Sega Miles that you earn in the game rather than unlocking them.

Its also annoying when it lags, but the only reason for that is that it is so fast.

I'd give it 8.5/10

This game looks awesome :D

the graphics in the trailer weren't bad either.

I give it a 9/10
 
I do not yet own this title! I do wish to at some point but the video games industry has adamantly decided to drain every last dollar from my wallet this quarter, so I do not believe I will have sufficient funds until after the release of Metroid: Other M or possibly Sonic the Hedgehog 4, depending on which is released later.

Game looks pretty super neat-o though. Needs more playable NiGHTS and Ristar, though, amirite? And screw Shadow and Big being playable, where is Blaze? A post-Adventure character that is near-universally loved by the fandom. NOTHING IS NEAR-UNIVERSALLY LOVED BY THE FANDOM, THE SONIC FANDOM IS BY FAR ONE OF THE WORST FANDOMS THAT HAS BEEN MY DISPLEASURE OF PERUSING.

I CAN USE BIG WORDS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT MAKE SENSE IN CONTEXT, OBVIOUSLY I AM CORRECT.
 
Sonic the hedgehog 4 was said to come out around summer this year. its 1000 wii points, im not sure howmuch for the 360 or PS.

Ristar is AWESOME. They really should make that before sonic 4. But we all know thats not going to happen. Hopefully it WILL come out at some point though.
 
I thought about getting it, since I am fan of sonic. (not too big of one though.)
But for one I don't have any money for a game, and not to mention a 50 dollar one.
I'm glad they have shadow though, since he is my favorite sonic character.

I also like the Narations. You'll always hear him saying new things.

And the sound that the Characters make are certainly a welcome change from 'Let'sa Go!' and 'Wario gonna wiiiin' and 'Gabagabagabu'.

Strangly though, Big's voice is different in this game.

the only good mario entrance sound IMO is "yoshiii"
 
I have the Wii veriso of the game; online play is rather sporadic. Much of the time, it goes by without a hitch. Sometimes, it just refuses to let you play and the connection is supremely unstable. It's very fun though. I'd rather host than be a guest, however, since I have everything unlocked and you can only play stuff the host has unlocked.
 
I think that the host thing is stupid. Why couldn't they just make it like Mario kart?
 
Knowing Nintendo they probably copyrighted the system they used in MKWii.

Like when they copyrighted the use of the C-buttons to control the camera on the N64 so that every non-Nintendo published game had crappy cameras.
 
I played the demo. Not too bad, might get it down the line if I see it for like $20. I'm not a huge fan of the drift controls, I feel like they're too loose or something. It reminds me of the karts in MKwii, which I didn't like - luckily they had those bikes. But hey, maybe the full game has a character who fits my playstyle more. Not a huge fan of the announcer, but whatever. And the graphics are nice, but I am just too old because the Xbox version has way too much freakin' bloom for me. Probably looks more coherent on an HDTV but I'm just blinded some of the time.

I like to complain about things. In video games.
 
Well, if anyone's interested. I've been playing the Wii version online and putting up videos. The second race in this one is particularly interesting, as two people picked Amy at exactly the same time, allowing them both to play as her.
