But that's the thing. Most of my tags aren't crud at all, far from it.. Yet I had zero votes for this sotw and last sotw.
That's absurd.

Maybe if I was known more around here, I'd get some votes.
 
It's a design contest on a pokemon site.
I host a sotw on a massive gaming forum, and not always the person with the best ability wins.
There's a reason too, not everyone knows that.

If you want to win a sotw because you're technically superior to everyone, this is not the place to do it.
And when you do find that place, don't be surprised if you have a similar number of votes
 
lol, this place isnt a GFX forum YET thats what were trying to do.
On a good GFX forum you would get 20-40 entries and even more votes, it isnt judged on the tag that is the highest level its judged on the one that stands out.

We gota lot more work tdo before we can start getting a "fair" SOTW going xD
 
Barely anyone on this forum knows how advanced some tags are, that's the problem -_- But I'd say our graphic part has grown alot, if we keep building on like this, soon we'll have more entrants and better artists =3
 
Yeah, thanks panda for getting all of this together it's really helping, just need more people and tuts.
 
Well, skewls finally over, I'll have time to ask for permission for other tuts perferebly from Gfx Resource.
 
I got a suggestion. Everyone who entered their pieces must vote once, voting for himself will be wasted obviously.

I've already found multiple places, but I've barely participated in them because they rapestomp all of my tags.

I prefer to say it's being voted on which has the most appeal rather than effects used.

I can invite some of the guys from the forum I usually attend and convince them to attend here also. They're around this level and will fit in well.

2 different sites. We can fit in and learn from each other.
