Okay, it was a mix of zyflair/Papi that made me think that. They didn't say it, but:
Why didn't he use the call on T1? Maybe I mis-interpreted it. And Papi, in the same thread also said Lopunny would draw T3, inferring the same situation zyflair is describing.

Ohhhhh. I see what you meant. Err, sorry about that.
Yeah, its not really a negative (getting call autoly is simply amazing), but the fact that it slows down lobunny too much to make it effective is one of the reasons why I ditched it as a starter (though I could see it working very well).
