Ruling Special Energy??

So i was playing tcgone.net just before and came up against someone who had 4 DCE and 3 Rainbow energies in his deck.

I thought the ruling was only 4 special energy in your deck, but was told its 4 of a each type of special energy?

Just wanting to know if this is correct?

The rule is, you are only allowed to have up to 4 copies of any card with the same name in your deck. So since Rainbow Energy and DCE have different names, you are allowed to have up to 4 of each card in your deck. It doesn't matter if it's Special Energy, Trainer cards, or a Pokemon. If it's not a basic Energy card, the limit is 4.
