Speech and Debate

I was just wondering if anyone else on here did Speech and Debate, now, or when they were in High School.

I have my first tournament this weekend, doing PF, second speaker.
 
I do speech and debate at school. Been doing it for 2 years. The first competition is gonna be nerve racking but it's all worth it in the end when you're up on stage receiving your rewards for your hard work! :D Not to mention that the competitions are really fun and you get to make tons of new friends!
 
Good luck! I'm going into Highschool next year, and I'm interested in speech and debate.
 
We don't have a Debate class at my school (Until Senior Year), so I wouldn't know exactly what it's about. But from what I hear, you do a lot research and mock debates in it, so it might be good if you want to the extra time. But if there is another class you think would be more beneficial, you may want to take that, because there's always the Debate Club for you to do tournaments and everything.
