Try to set up Darkrai A.S.A.P and start hitting hard. Keldeo cancels out most status and catcher stalls, but other than that this list should be pretty self explanatory.

deck looks good but how do you plan to counter plasmaklang if the opponents gets it up?

Yeah I was hoping someone would bring that up. I wasn't expecting anyone to make major suggestions as this list has been over tested and I find this to be extremely solid and consistent. But yes plasma klinklang is my only huge issue. So here's my plan:

Prey you go first and pull off turn 2 nightspear to ko kinks. Hope they can't get plasma klinklang out and if they do I guess Sableye and toxic plus dark claw will have to take over :p

Blend and Victini... Unfortunately.. Stupid Klingklang forcing people to tech their decks for it and ruin consistency!

I actually prefer either Prism Energy or Basic Fire Energy (along with Energy Search and Super Rod of course). Both have their respective pros and cons. Prism is basically just a better Blend and can let Keldeo attack with it as well, if necessary, while Basic Fires are easier to search out, don't get Hammered away, and can be recoverable along with the tech if you decide to play it.

dmaster out.

I haven't played this deck at all, but what would you do if the Fire energy got discarded against PlasmaKlang or Quad Sigilyph? I would play Blend GRPD because you have no Energy Search.

-1 Fire Energy
-1 Bianca

+2 Blend GRPD

Do you think running 2 Victini and 2 Blend is sufficient or am I over doing it in that area. It's been a really hard tech to fit in, but I'm trying to make it work.

I would prefer to stay with the 2 Victini because of Unfortunate prizes and the fact that I do not run super rod any longer. GARH I HATE KLINKLANG!!! If there are any tips other than ones about benchtini please tell me about those ones I would prefer to hear them before states.

I'm working on the same deck. I haven't thought of using benchtini before, that's really nice.
But how hard is it to fill up the bench? And is there any other fire type that could work besides benchtini? [animate]victini[/animate]

Ok so I've tweaked the list here and there, but I absolutely hate the Benchtini line so I was wondering if I should just toss that and add a 2-2 (or 3-1) C. hammer - E. Hammer line so that my plan to beat Cobalion/Klinklang is just to hammer away all their energy until they pretty much can't attack and then I would lazer them until they die. So what's your opinion?

In my experience plasmaklang decks will run switches as well as a keldeo, so poison will might not be the best option. Reshiram and catcher have helped me a ton. You don't need to 'water' down the dark energies lowering the consistency.

- 2 Victini
- 2 Fire

+ 3 Crushing Hammer
+ 1 Super Rod

Just a suggestion, but Klinklang generally loses to hammers. The Super Rod allows you to recycle the Sableye to repeat the cycle of constant Crushing Hammer's. I think your best bet is to try and kill off your opponent with Hypnotoxic Laser when their resources are running thin... Could even Dark Claw a Sableye? Also from previous experience, hammers help tremendously against "big" Basic variant decks. I personally find any deck that doesn't have to run Victini frees up a lot more consistency.

Hope this helps! =]

Well I'm running 11 energy + 1 search, what's standard to you in a darkrai deck

Darkrai decks are unable to effectively tech for the Klink Klang match up while maintaining consistency and the ability to perform well against other decks. Even if you devote lots of space to beat Klink Klang the match up is still very bad for Darkrai. If you want to play Darkrai then play a straight up consistent list. If your meta is infested with Klink Klang decks then play Rayeels with Victini or Garbador.

-1 Random Receiver; Leave one because it's good to Junk Hunt for when you don't have a Supporter.
-1 Catcher; I think Darkrai can afford to run three because of Junk Hunt.
+2 Skyla; This is good in any deck, but Darkrai especially because there are so many instances you need one particular trainer. Either Dark Patch or Energy Switch to start swining or Laser or Dark Claw to do additional damage. I would try out at least two.

I mean, I like it in Darkrai. My list runs Bicycle too (speaking of Bicycle, that's also a good addition to Darkrai), so it can still be used as draw if it's your only option. Just being able to search out Catcher is amazing. I remember when you actually had to draw into Catcher to use it.
