Energy: 11
  • 7 Fire Energy
  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
Strategy:

The idea of this deck it's simple.

Start in second. Always!
Setup 1 Entei with DCE and Silver Bangle + Muscle Band/Silver Bangle and Blacksmith to Heat Tackle and OHKO the Opponent's EX-Pokemon. (130+30+20/30 = 180/190)

I have played only in Standard Format. When i play now we will use Expanded Format from February/16.
I need your help to improve this deck. We have a lot of Seismitoad EX's decks here and this will be a big problem :(

Thanks everyone!!!

I have been playing this deck in expansion and have really struggled against the toad and against decks running typhlosion....

I am also looking for a solution.

I dropped my stadiums to 2 and added a weakness policy...

The primary solution is to stop going second because you are giving them a free turn to setup for an unlikely knockout otherwise. I think the only deck that poses that kind of threat is night march and they have trouble with the damage reduction of flame screen.

-4 Acro Bike (unreliable)
-1 Weakness Policy (too situational)
-3 Super Scoop Up (unreliable)
-3 Silver Bangle (too situational)

+1 Blacksmith
+1 Lysandre
+1 Giovanni's Scheme (or Iris)
+1 other supporter (i.e. Hex Maniac, AZ, Pokemon Center Lady, Xerosic)
+1 Scorched Earth
+1 Parallel City
+2 Fire Energy
+2 Muscle Band
+1 Assault Vest

Additionally, I would consider trading out Computer Search for a Scramble Switch or Scoop Up Cyclone.
