Ruling Speed Stadium / DX-On Format ???

Never played in a tournament until this weekend. I've only played in a league format.

Question 1 -- US Battle Road Tourney. I printed out the POP form to fill out for the tourney and it shows from Deoxys to Power Keepers, plus the other odd sets. My question is in this tourney does the DX - "ON" mean I can use Diamond & Pearl cards, even though that deck and their symbol aren't listed on the sheet?

Question 2 --- Speed Stadium. If my opponent puts it in play, the card reads Between "EACH PLAYER" turn. If my opponent uses this card and gets to flip the coin to see how many he can snag... Do I also get to flip when it's my turn? And do you guys like this card in your tourney decks???

You can't use DP cards yet if it isn't listed as a legal set. About Speed Stadium: all stadiums have the same effect on both players, no matter who played it. So in your turn, you can flip for more cards if you like.
I personally think there are better stadiums (Holon Lake, Crystal Beach) and also better ways to draw cards, like Holon's Castform and TV Reporter. But you could put 1 in to accelerate your start if you got a slow starting deck. However, the opponent has the same advantage so in the end, it wouldn't matter. I'd play a stadium that's VERY useful for you, but probably not useful for the opponent.

Thanks for your reply.... Has anyone out there playedin a Battle Road Tournament yet? If so were they using Diamond & Pearl???

DP is allowed. The up to date decklist forms is on the official TCG web page.

It depends where you live. If you're in the US then yes it's legal. If not then you'd hafta say were you were for us to find out.

All stadiums count both players. Otherwise the ruling that you can't play a stadium that's already out wouldn't apply (As in, if both players use the same stadiums in their deck, then it'd be sorta bogus if one got it out before the other, limiting a player's use of it). I don't really like Speed Stadium, since you never want to give you're opponent an advantage. Things like that, Field Worker, Holon Ruins, and some specific stadiums I try to stay away from.

Holon Ruins is a good card, don't get me wrong. I just don't play it unless A.) Things couldn't get any worse anyways, B.) The opponent doesn't seem to play any delta Pokemon or C.) I can get rid of it right away. I play Holon Ruins in one of my main decks. The only time I would suggest you use Speed Stadium is if you're playing with Walrein EX (PK), since you need Stadiums to fuel its attack, and you might as well take advantage of something (Power Tree and Holon Ruins are also good choices).
