Pokemon:

  • 3 Charizard (CB)
    3-2 Litleo/Pyroar
    2-2 Fennekin/Delphox
    1 Mewtwo EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:

  • 4 Blacksmith
    4 Fiery Torch
    3 Muscle Band
    2 Professor Sycamore
    2 Colress
    2 N
    2 Rare Candy
    2 Professor's Letter
    2 Ultra Ball
    2 Lysandre
    1 Skyla
    1 Scramble Switch
    1 Switch
    1 Evosoda
    1 Pokemon Center Lady
    1 Pokemon Fan Club
    1 Startling Megaphone
Energy:

  • x13 Fire Energy
    x2 Double Colorless Energy

Just played this for the first time in a tournament, it went pretty well. The general idea of the deck is to speed through fire energy with the torches and attach them with Blacksmith. I generally get three energies in a turn by turn two. Very consistent but it seems like it is lacking something.

RE: Speedizard for nats

I too have built and played a similar deck. From my experience I offer the following suggestions for your consideration:

  • A 2-1-2 Delphox line enhances your setup opportunities more effectively when you only run 2 Rare Candy.
  • Getting a Delphox into play asap is critical; so, IMHO, a blend of 2 Level Balls and 3 Ultra Balls to work quite well.
Given the aforementioned comments/thoughts, consider playtesting the following changes:
-1 Blacksmith. I've found just 3 work quite well.
-1 Evosoda. Not as effective as Ultral Ball, IMHO.
-1 Pokémon Center Lady. In this current 1HKO format, chances are you may not have enough opportunities to warrant devoting a card slot for this Trainer.
-1 Pokémon Fan Club. In keeping with the "speed" theme, utilizing more Balls enhances the speed aspect of your deck and also allows you to still play a supporter in the same turn.
-2 Fire. Maximizing DCEs is critical to success, IMHO.

+1 Braixen
+2 Level Balls
+1 Ultra Ball
+2 DCE

I hope you find these comments helpful.
