Hello there! Since a couple of months I'm testing this list on which I worked a lot trying to fix all the flaws. Still I think is missing something. Here's the list:
****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ******
##Pokémon - 10
* 1 Hoopa UNM 140/Tapu Fini UNM
* 4 Spiritomb UNB 112
* 1 Buzzwole FLI 77
* 1 Kartana UNB 19
* 1 Xurkitree UNM 70
* 1 Dusk Mane Necrozma PR-SM 124
* 1 Nihilego LOT 106
##Trainer Cards - 40
* 4 Custom Catcher LOT 231
* 4 Pokémon Communication TEU 152
* 4 Hustle Belt CES 134
* 2 Switch CES 147
* 4 Acro Bike PRC 122
* 4 Cynthia UPR 119
* 1 Brock's Grit TEU 135
* 4 Pokégear 3.0 UNB 182
* 2 Ultra Space FLI 115
* 4 Lillie UPR 125
* 3 Shrine of Punishment CES 143
* 4 Judge Whistle TEU 146
##Energy - 10
* 1 Beast Energy {*} FLI 117
* 5 Darkness Energy SMEnergy 16
* 4 Rainbow Energy CES 151
It is based on the zapbeast idea, but hits harder and faster, and does not needs the switching stuff. The base is solid enough. you start with spiritomb and then each turn you have an Ubeast to take advantage of, according yours and your opponent's remaining prize cards.
For what concern the match ups against meta decks, I used to include fini to beat blacephalon, but even without it the deck still performs pretty well, so I switched to hoopa to use it against mally. Speaking of mally, if you start fast enough it is nearly impossible to loose. reshizard is not a bad nor a good matchup, from my testing I'd say 50/50, (a little more in my favor if reshizard does not play mixed herbs or great potions). Against Gardeon is tough, because you cant ohko them, and they have lots of things to cure gardeon. Against Mewtwo box I haven't tested enough, but it seems to me that I have to include some counter card like Power Plant.
Any advice to improve the list?
