Like to say he is a very good player to start. I know this becuz i was there. Was in oshkosh wi. At adventure games was 52 masters.
Second i was the metagross deck he tied with in 6th round. I wasnt playing a metagross deck it was a sologleo metagross deck. I went 4 -2-1 .
6th round we had a match n drew a draw. In top 8 we played each other again. Match 1 i scooped due to 4 rare candys and a metang i prizes along with tapu lele. Second round i won 3rd round . Where both of us got putto the test. I had a bad start and he guzma 3 times in a row my beldums n 1 cosmog. I pulled some good plays but in the end i made a major mistake. Was 4 to 2 on prizes my turn . I had only a wicke in hand metagross as my attacker with 3 energys and used my attack the turn before. On bench i had a beldrum no energy. He had tapu lele as attack with 150 damage on it. Ill add to this after work break is ovver

So your basically saying that retreating, 1 Geotech system to Beldum and then attack with Beldum for 20 would have won you your top 8 match?

On the other side, that wouldn't be that strange, since Metagross is basically an auto-loss for Gardevoir besides very specific situations (like have 4 Rare Candy's, a Metang and a Tapu Lele GX prized).

No doesnt mean i would of won but would made it a better chance. I choose to use gx attack instead. I honestly didnt think to retreat n sttack with beldrum. At the time i thought beldrum was csomg n it didnt do damage. Was under pressure alot n didnt think right. Was a tough match agiasnt a good opp that knew how to play great n have good draws for guzmas. Retreating metagross would of gave metagross 0 energy n 1 on beldrum. He would of took gardy knocked out my beldrum. Then if i got top draw energy or aeay to draw more n draw energy it still would been his turn and had 2 energys on metagross he had 2 dcs and 4 fairy on gardy. So if he had ant energy in hand he eould of knocked out my metagross if not i would of won.
I played this deck for about 7 months now in comp play or some form of it and never had the first mstch happen
