PB's staff has gone through some minor changes here and there over the years. Some good, and some not so good. With all of the lessons learned in mind, we re-examined the staff and what we come to expect from it in the future. The internals have been reorganized for a short while now, so it is time to make this public to everyone.
New userbars.
New userbars were created featuring two Pokémon that have been longstanding icons of PB. Other Pokemon chosen for the userbars are Ludicolo, Red Gyarados, and Kyogre.
New organization
From now on the tier of power operates like this. Bolded groups are those that hold moderation powers. (Known internally as the mod staff) The idea behind this is to stop over moderating the forums and focus people specifically where they are needed, as PB has many ambitious projects to complete. Mod staffers will moderate the forums while other staffers devote their time toward completing new content and projects for PB.
1. Admins
2. Super Mods
3. Staff Departments (TCG, VG, Art, Community, Mod)
4. Other member groups + Members
There will be identifiers for each staff member's position and the mod staff. Everyone with a staff position on the forums will have a colored name and other distinct identifiers to be announced. Verified Sellers, Professors, and other groups will be getting identifiers as well with the upcoming changes. Don't worry!
Why all the changes?
PB is getting ready for 2013, which will be one of its biggest years ever. In the next few days leading up to the new year, expect more additions to the forum and freshening up. Please be patient, come new years everything should be settled. I know it's a lot to take in, and we appreciate your cooperation in this transition process. More details on everything will be coming as it is announced!
