Ruling Status conditions

What conditions would heal when you retreat or switch or rush in(keldeo EX)? Also, when you're poison or burned can you retreat? if yes, would you lose the condition? Can a pokemon have a status condition on the bench, im asking this because I have this Darkrai card (http://pokebeach.com/scans/majestic-dawn/3-darkrai.jpg) and I don't really understand how it works.

The answer to questons 2 and 3 is yes.

As for Keldeo EX (or moving a Pokemon with a status condition to the bench in general), all conditions get removed.

With Darkrai, its Poke-Power is pretty much saying that when you put on to the bench, you can make one of your opponent's active Pokemon go to Sleep.

EDIT: Made a mistake with my Darkrai ruling, fixed it.
