Here I'll be posting my Fan-made Mega Evolutions. Both pictures of the Megas, and information about them (such as abilities, typings etc.) will also be posted. If anyone has any suggestions/ideas for a new Mega, post them here and we'll figure something out! :D

You might have seen some of these Megas on my DeviantArt account, but I promise, new ones are gonna come out as well :D

Mega Wormadam
Bug/Flying
Ability: Aerilate
Stats: 60/109/65/119/75/96 Total: 524
Extra info: Mega Wormadam loses its cloak, revealing a set of wings, that it's able to zoom through the air with.
After Mega Evolving Wormadam gains the abilty Aerilate, which changes Normal-type moves into Flying-type. It's Attack, Special Attack and Speed all raises, but due to the loss of its cloak, its Defences drops.

Mega Sunfora
Grass/Fire
Ability: Drought
Stats: 75/65/55/145/105/80 Total: 525
Extra info: Mega Sunflora's petals gain a new beautiful red pattern, and finding the Sunflorite is often one of the biggest achivements a gardener can achieve.
Mega Sunflora gains the ability Drought, and it gains the Fire-type. Sunflora is now also able to learn the new fire move Solar Blast, and Flamethrower, and with the help of Drought it's also able to fire a powerful Solarbeam in only one turn!

I hope you'll enjoy the Megas I'll be posting here, and if you have any suggestions for a Mega, leave it in a post below, and I'll see what I can do :D

Mega Magnezone
Electric/Steel
Ability: Levitate
Stats: 70/60/135/160/110/90 Total: 635
Extra info: When Mega Evolving, Magnezones magnetic powers grows even stronger attracting small Magnemites. It's able to turn the magnetic powers off, by retracting its yellow rod.
Mega Magnezone gains massive boosts in its Defence, Special Attack and Speed, as well as a minor raise in Special Defence. It gains the abilty Levitate, which means that it loses its weakness to the Gorund-type, a type that otherwise would have been very good against it.

Mega Lumineon
Water/Fairy
Ability: Pixilate
Stats: 69/69/86/129/106/101 Total: 560
Extra info: When Mega evolving, Lumineons wings and tail grow even larger and prettier, and it gains a beautiful pattern along its body. Many proffesional artists use Mega Lumineon as a part of their show, to make it all just a bit prettier.
Mega Lumineon gains an enormous boost in its Special Attack, while its Defences and Speed also raises. It gains the Fairy-type, and the ability Pixilate, which turns Normal-type moves into Fairy-type. This means that powerful Normal-type moves, such as Hyper Beam or Return, now gets even stronger, and that makes Mega Lumineon even more dangerous in battles.

Mega Vanilluxe
Ice
Ability: Refrigirate
Stats: 71/115/95/150/115/89 Total: 535
Extra info: Vanilluxe gains temporarily another head. This head is rumored to have been there all the time, hiding behind the snow, but no one really knows, since no one has ever seen a Vanilluxe without its snow cover.
When Mega evolving Vanilluxe gains a massive boost to its Special Attack, as well as smaller boosts to the rest of its stats. It also gains the ability Refrigirate, previously exclusive to Amaura and Aurorus, which turns Normal-type moves into Ice-type.

Normal/Flying
Ability: Early Bird
Stats: 80/145/110/80/60/113 Total: 588
Extra info: When a male Unfezant Mega evolves, the plumage on its head grows even larger than it already is. This slows it a bit down, compared to the female Mega Unfezant which Speed is higher than the male Mega Unfezant. Its Defence is however much higher than the female Mega Evolution, and their abilities also vary, the male getting Early Bird and the female getting Gale Wings.

Female Mega Unfezant and another new Mega will come out tomorrow! :D

If you are willing to take my opinion; I have some advice.

First, the pictures should be bigger in order to better showcase your work, especially in the smaller details and patterns, which I can see you are quite fond of. If you can tweak the color balance to make the white paper white instead of grey, that will give your drawings so much life, too.

Second; with many of your megas, what you're doing is taking the pokemon and not changing much; megaevolution design rests in one of two core tenets:

- Reinforce a physical aspect of the pokemon / patch the pokemon's previous design mistakes
or
- Reinforce a conceptual aspect of the pokemon

These goals are usually achieved by several methods, again, one or two per pokemon, not all.

You can see an analysis of GF's megas here.

Allow me to give you an example.

Your idea for wormadam is an interesting concept; the notion that beneath the cloak lies a moth is very good and plausible; however, you get cut short.
Mega wormadam is, first and foremost, too much like mothim; physically, morphologically similar; and it stops resembling the little bit we can actually see of wormadam's body in her regular form. Second, it would be a good idea to leave the shed cloak on the ground, or even attached to her, as part of the pokemon, and also to show what cloak this wormadam is.
Another thing you'll face with this idea is the fact that wormadam doesn't have flying type moves, and all her moves are based off of her cocoon; that's just too far off from GF's guidelines; a solution would be making wormadam reshape her cocoon to fly, allowing it to use the pieces to attack; or even having it hanging from her, giving her her regular type but giving her levitate, or even aerilate, if you want to. Lots of flying bugs are not flying type; it all will depend on whether you want to make mega wormadam more offensive (which I think it's your original intention) or more defensive.

I'm terribly sorry if this critique came off as harsh; you have a good eye for detail and you draw well (which is why it is a shame to have such small images; all of that is lost), but I thought it might be useful to know the inner process behind mega evolution. As with any design, you have a lot of things to consider, even if you're not making radical changes.

The reason behind the small images is because I didn't want it to become to big, so that people don't have to scroll so much just to "close" the picture again. Also Mega Wormadam does have Aerialate ;)
I've posted the original dawing I have of Mega Wormadam, where it shows the "Mega Animation" of it jumping out of its cloak, and the cloak disintergrating and shattering in the air :)
I'll try to "evolve" the next Mega Evolutions I'll be making even further :)

You can shrink images that are too big with [*width=XXX height=], so you can just post your deviantart images and shrink them as you need.

That extended picture clarifies a lot.

Say, if the cloak is disintegrated, how does mega wormadam uses her typed attacks? especially the steel and ground ones?
I can see now from where you took the idea for the fatter body and the sting in her face, but it still looks too much like mothim, rather than wormadam.
For example, what if the cocoon was really wormadam's wings, folded over her? look at mothim's wingspan compared to mega wormadam's; see the difference?

I'm talking about something like this:

See how the wings retain mothim's shape, but are composed of wormadam's cocoon. That's just the rough idea, but you can see how mega evolution for wormadam would go in the direction you wanted.

I think many of the moves Wormadam learns, she don't really need a cloak to do them. Trashy has a head for Iron Head, she don't really need any cloak/body parts for Mirror Shot and Flash Cannon and Metal Sound she can use her wings. For Sandy, I don't think she needs any body parts for Rock Blast or Harden, I think Fissure and Earthquake are bigger problems, but Pokemon like Mantine and Glalie can also learn Earthquake, so I don't really think that's a problem. For the Plant Wormadam I think she can use her wings to create leafs to use Razor Leaf and she can just whip up a storm like Snivy did in the anime to create a Leaf Storm :)

Uuh, I love that idea! Though I don't think it should have the yellow spots on its wings. I know Mothim has them, but I think they'd just look out of place on the wings, especially with the trashy Wormadam and also a bit with the plant Wormadam.
I'll try to sketch a new/updated one out today, along with the other new Megas :)

Normal/Flying
Ability: Gale Wings
Stats: 80/155/90/75/55/133 Total: 588
Extra info: When a female Unfezant Mega Evolves, it gains a more speedy plumage with sleeker feathers. These feathers are specifically designed to aid Mega Unfezant when flying at high speed.
The female Mega Unfezant is way faster than its male counterpart, and it also have a slightly higher Attack stat. Its Defences are however both lower than the male Mega Unfezant's.

Mega Heatmor
Fire/Dragon
Ability: Tough Claws
Stats: 85/127/91/135/91/55 Total: 584
Extra info: When Mega Evolving Heatmor becomes the ultimate Durant hunter. Its claws grows larger, and glows with heat, as it sucks air in with its tail, and transforms it into heat, in its special tubes.
Mega Heatmor gains the Dragon typing, along with the new ability Tough Claws, which makes moves that does damage, while in contact with the opponent. This means that moves like Dragon Claw, Dual Chop and the new move Flame Claw even more powerful, when used by Mega Heatmor!

I like the Mega Jumpluff she looks very cute with the whole cottonbody. :D And I like the idea from the Ancient Guardians it reminds me of the Growlithe family nice job! Mega Furret is awesome too!!! I like your drawing style.

I just use normal pencils, then draw them up with a thicker black coloured pencil :)
