OK, would some of you PLEASE stop with the "yeah good combo but its owned by blah blah blah" shiz? EVERYTHING is owned by SOMETHING. Infernape has problems with Empoleon/Feraligatr n stuff. Those decks in return are countered by Electivire, or Raichu. Those in turn lose out to Mario, or anything else with a Fight focus. Who in turn lose to Flygon. And the cycle can go on and on. EVERYTHING seems to have AT LEAST ONE Arche-type counter nowadays since, well, there ARE many Arche-worthy cards in the game. Electivire, Infernape, Empoleon, Flygon, Raichu, Kricketune, Lucario, Feraligatr, Meganium, with soon even more.
So please, stop it. Yes, a combo can be countered easily by a specific poke. But most combos leave space open to battle that specific poke with a tech of sorts.

Thank you captain Obvious. And some combos do get owned a bit harder than others.
 
Just don't listen to those people and that's it.

Infernape can outspeed gatr/catty/ton, empoleon can target and kill electivires in electigon before they can scramble or get powered up, and so on. See? and that is without techs, now imagine with them.
 
Please do not mini-mod. If you believe that something is against the forum rules, report it and do not post about it.

While there is always something that can defeat a combo, that does not mean that it should not be discussed. Discovering the weak points of combos can be helpful in finding ways to counter the weaknesses. It is a valid topic to talk about.

swamplord, JMcCloud please do not use language like that on our forums. These forums are meant to be family-friendly; we will not tolerate any obscenities like that.
