After reading the thread about Armaldo ex(LM) in the Combo & Strategies Forum, a question ran through my mind...
That question is:
"Let's say I have a Strange Cave in play & i put down a Anorith. After that I evolve it to Armaldo ex. So is Armaldo ex considered as a Stage 1 pokemon or a Stage 2 pokemon??"

IMO: I think Armaldo ex will still be a Stage 2 pokemon even though Strange Cave is in play but I just wanna confirmed my answer, so can anyone explain it??
Thanks in advance... :D

Armaldo Ex will still be considered a Stage 2 evolved Pokemon. This is because it says on Armaldo Ex that it is a Stage 2 Pokemon.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Q. If I use the Strange Cave stadium or an Omanyte uses "Team Assembly" to put other Omanytes on the bench, they are to be "treated as a Basic Pokemon" per the text on the card. Now, after evolving that benched Omanyte (that has no fossil under it) into Omastar, do you treat Omastar as a Stage 1 or as a Stage 2 Pokemon for the purposes of Wailord's "Rely on Friends" attack ("...does plus 10 more damage for each of your Benched Stage 1 Evolved Pokemon")?

A. The Omastar would still be considered a "Stage 2" Pokemon, even if there is no Fossil underneath it. The Omanyte would be a non-evolved (Basic) Pokemon that is "Stage 1". (Feb 16, 2006 PUI Rules Team)

The Compendium is there for a reason, but don't worry, other people will look to get the answers for you. /sarcasm.
