This obviously affects all the traders here on Pokebeach, so this is rather important news everyone should be aware of before filing for disputes/asking what is going on with mailing from to and from Canada.


I will keep this open for any questions anyone will have.

Yes, it won't stop it, but it will definetely postpone they're arrival.

I just sent cards to someone in Canada that they needed for a deck. I knew about this, but hopefully it won't be too bad since they are very close to me (just in Canada). Maybe (I doubt it) it'll get there before the strike...

Looks like I may be using FedEx a bit more now...

^The postmen here are extremely polite.
Anyways I think people should hold off the sending just in case. AnthonyG what do you suggest for our trade?

this totally sucks. I hope it won't discourage anyone from sending to Canada in the future.

Ya.. Not going to send to Canada until this is over. I see nothing wrong with workers fighting for rights though.

Its actually a Rotating Strike. Some of the hits in the past few days were Winnipeg, Hamilton and now Montreal. They announce where they will strike on a totally random basis. Therefore, Mail is still being delivered but not where they are stirking. E.g. I just finished a few trades from the Pokegym and they all got to me perfectly fine.

I recieved this package faster then any other package I have traded for on this site. It was way too fast...LOL

Yes...the strike is rotating, and it is biz as usual right now...but I have heard it may get nasty in the next few days....

The citys are out for 48 hrs at a time, so if you are in one of those affected cities, it will disrupt you for a few days!

As of today they are FULLY LOCKED OUT which means NO mail delivery at all.
Just a heads up for all outgoing/incomign trades to Canada.

All of Canada Post is understrike. Meaning all post offices are closed across Canada, so no mail will be delivered.
