Ruling swablu-altaria ex

Hi, i have a question i would like to ask...can i evolve swablu (EM) to Altaria ex d DF, or can i only evolve delta pokemon to delta pokemon?

delta isn't part of the name. And since Altaria says it evolves from Swablu...yes, you can freely evolve.

This would also go with any delta Pokemon. So physically theres only three forms Normal [wih or without delta], EX, and Shinings [which cannot be evolved even Mudkip* for example]
