Ruling Swift

The Fastwave attack in Deoxys ex (speed) says to ignore resistance, powers, and other effects on the Defending Pokemon. Let's say you're attacking against a Safeguard Pokemon. If you add a Strength Charm to your Active, do you get the +10 bonus?

(Do you do the Swift damage and then do the +10 damage? Or do the damage together?)

Yes. It's effects on the Defending Pokémon. Strength Charm is on the Attacking Pokémon.

so you mean it's like the Strength Charm gets sort of build into the Fastwave attack? and not treat the attack and the tool as two separate things?

Like, if you had Crystal Laser, Form change to Speed to do Swift, it'll do 70. Add a strength charm, it'll do 80.

if you are using deoxys ex(speed) against a safeguard pokemon, deoxys attack, fastwave will do damage on the safeguard pokemon & you have any pokemon tool attached to it, it will still do the damage....
