Like i say im new to the game, been reading blogs and watching YouTube videos to try get a better understanding of decks, i have now started to purchase packs online to use and get better cards so that i can match the decks players use in the game.

Any feedback is welcome both negative and positive if any..

Last night i played in a online comp and i got decked out twice and lost 0-2 due to not been able use abilities and not allowing EX/GX attacks.

How could i improve this deck to combat that threat would you suggest ?

First, win condition. What are you trying to do with the deck and how are you trying to do it?
Second, thicker Pokémon lines. Maybe a 4-3 Raichu line and more Tapu Lele, 2 is minimal for every deck.
Third, items. Every deck NEEDS 4 Ultra Ball, 2 Field Blower, 2 Choice Band and other useful cards.
Fourth, supporters. You need at LEAST 8 in any combination of Sycamore, N and Cynthia. Also 2 Guzma, 2 Brigette and 1 Acerola minimum.

So, with that in mind, here is a deck skeleton.

3 Pikachu
3 Raichu GX
3 Tapu Koko GX
2 Tapu Lele GX
1 Oranguru

4 Ultra Ball
4 Max Elixir
2 Choice Band
2 Field Blower
2 Float Stone

4 Cynthia
2 Sycamore
2 N
2 Brigette
2 Guzma
2 Acerola

12 Lightning Energy

There are 8 empty slots that you can put your own cards in, but these are the essentials.

Hope this helps your Pokémon TCG experience!

Have a look at the ulp pachirisu. Run only pikachu with nuzzle

Hi Shaun Rogers,

The most important question is what you want to focus on with the deck. You could either focus on Tapu Koko GX or Raichu GX. With the latter one you will want to flood the board with energies fast. The easiest means to accomplish this aim is to use Pachirisu from Ultra Prism. He has an attack that allows you to attach a basic Lighting Energy to all of your Pokémon that have the attack Nuzzle. Fortunately Pikachu from Generations has this attack. What you want to do is have Pachirisu active and use Tapu Lele GX and Brigette to fill the bench with Pikachu rom Generation and use Nuzzle until the active Pachirisu is knocked out. At that point evolve the benched Pikachu into Raichu GX and attack with his first attack. Exp. Share can be attached to benched Tapu Lele GX to maintain the energies on the battlefield to ensure that Raichu GX is able to achieve ohkos. Max Elixir complements this tactic rather well and a stable nine draw supporter will allow you to access needed cards in time. Raichu from Generations is a tech that can be used to handle Pokémon that disable Pokémon GX to hurt them such as Alolan Ninetales and Hoopa.

Pokémon (14):

  • 4 Pachirisu ULP (accelerate)
  • 1 Raichu GEN (beatdown)
  • 3 Raichu GX (beatdown)
  • 4 Pikachu GEN (evolve)
  • 2 Tapu Lele GX (search)

Trainer (32):
  • 3 Professor Sycamore (draw)
  • 2 Brigette (search)
  • 3 Guzma (control)
  • 3 Cynthia (draw)
  • 3 N (draw)
  • 1 Rescue Stretcher (retrieval)
  • 3 Choice Band (beatdown)
  • 3 Max Elixir (accelerate)
  • 2 Field Blower (discard)
  • 1 Escape Rope (control)
  • 3 Exp Share (maintain)
  • 1 Super Rod (retrieval)
  • 4 Ultra Ball (search)
Energy (14):
  • 14 Lightning Energy

If you want to focus more on Tapu Koko GX you want to look into cards such as Aether Paradise Conservation Area
