'Sup guys, TDL here to do a Nuzlocke Challenge. This is my third, actually, and I'm fairly good at this. However, this is my second time recording it (I think I posted my LG run in the big thread.) Now, I'm going to be doing this Nuzlocke on Pokemon Silver, so without me boring you to death, here we go!

Day One
Alright, I name my character James since that's my name and I can't come up with anything creative. I'm going through just ignoring what people say for now, since I'd really like to get this done fast. Finally, I get to Elm and pick my starter. Ehh, I feel like having something that can hit hard, but also have some good bulk, so for that reason I'm going with Totodile. I'm going to name it "Breakfast" because it's a nickname for Steadfast (I'm going to name all my Pokemon after members.) I go meet Mr. Whatever guy, and on the way back Breakfast gets poisoned (sad_face.jpg), so now I have to hurry to the Pokemon Center. I manage to make it, but I was super worried since I have the potion rule. Now it's time to face Joeypal (haven't named him yet, and he's not Joeypals because of the stupid seven character limit.)
James vs Joeypal: Alright, I start off by loleering him. Then, I repeatedly hit him with Tackle until his Chikorita is down. Good game.
I move to Professor Elm's lab, name my rival, give him the mystery egg, and get some Pokeballs. Now I can finally catch something. I encounter a male Pidgey upon first stepping in the grass on Route 29, and catch it after wasting three Pokeballs. I'm going to nickname it 'Teapot' after TPO3. Now, I'm going to do some grinding, generally because I'm bored, but also so I can progress through this Nuzlocke easier. I'll stop when they're both level 10.

Day Two
Start up my game, do some more grinding until they're level 13 (I'm crazy, but I'm also glad I decided to not do the Pokemon Center rules), then decide to go to Cherrygrove town again. I'm a little sad that running shoes didn't exist in GSC. They would greatly increase this run's speed. I stop by the Pokemon Center, heal my Pokemon, and then blow my money on Pokeballs. I step out in the grass of Route 30 and encounter a Ledyba. Ehh, might as well catch it. I name it Hyperbeem because Hyperbeem said I should name a Pokemon after him lol. I go to train it on Route 29 and it dies because of two misses and a cirt. That's so stupid. I shall miss that bronzed god of level threes. Release it, then it's time to battle Youngster Joey.
James vs Youngster Joey: He starts off with his prized Rattata. and I start with Teapot. Teapot uses Gust and it's over. Uh ... that was amazing I guess. Now let's battle the other Youngster.
James vs Youngster Mikey: He starts out with a level 2 Pidgey and I start with a level 13 Teapot. Clearly I did too much grinding. I beat it with a Gust, then he sends out an amazing level 4 Rattata. Oh man, I'm scarred. I Gust to kill it. So easy. Next trainer please.
James vs Bug Catcher Don: Like the above two battles, Teapot sweeps with Gust. Alright, time to start using Breakfast.
Mom calls, and I tell her I don't want her to save my money. That would be bad. I go into Dark Cave and the first Pokemon I encounter is ... Zubat. My Pokemon are so strong where one attack would kill this thing, so I decide to just toss a Pokeball at it and hope for the best. I catch it on the first ball. YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!! I decide to name it safariblade (It's actually Safari because of the dumb character limit), then I'll love it more and it'll evolve into a big and strong Crobat. I go to Route 29 and start training it to level 13 or 10. WASTIN MO TIME. I finally get back into continuing my journey after it gets to level 13. I wasted so much time lol.
James vs Bug Catcher Wade: Safari be sweepings with that Bite. <3
I heal my Pokemon and decide that I should battle Falkner first, then got to Bellsprout Tower.
James vs Bird Keeper Abe: Start out with Safari and 3hko his Spearow with Bite. Why oh why is he so strong. Beat Abe easily and move one step closer to Falkner.
James vs Bird Keeper Rod: I 2hko his Pidgey with Bite, then he sends out another Pidgey. He manages to get Safari in the yellow, but I still manage to beat him. Now it's time for Falkner.
James vs Leader Flakner: I start with Breakfast and he starts out with Pidgey. I 2hko with Scratch, so he then sends out the controversial and under-leveled level 9 Pidgeotto -- the real challenge! Nvm, I 3hko with Water Gun and he barely manages to dish out any big damage. lol, I win my first badge with no challenge.

Day Three:
I start off the day by going to Sprout Tower. First Pokemon I encounter is Gastly, catch it, and name it SL after my good friend ShadowLugia. Instead of going through Sprout Tower, I decide to grind on route 32. But first, I need to go pick up the Togepi egg. I deposit it in the PC (what a horrible Pokemon), then head out to Route 32. First Pokemon I encounter is Wooper, I catch it on first try, and name it SeaClown after my hero, CCloud. <3
Grinding, grinding, grinding, go to the Pokemon Center, grinding, grinding, grinding, go to the Pokemon Center, and repeat. Yeah, that basically explains what I did on Route 32. After I was done, my Pokemon's levels were as follows: Breakfast (now a Croconaw) is level 20, Teapot (now a Pidgeotto) is level 21, SL is level 20, SeaClown (now a Quagsire) is level 20, and Safari is level 20. Good lord I over-grinded. >.<
And the above, plus life, not remembering where I left my Gmaeboy Color (it was under the couch :x), and laziness, is why this update took so much time. Sorry for the wait those who actually care. Anyways, on to my super fantastic adventure. Off to Sprout Tower.
First floor, encounter some Rattatas. SL can't touch them, so I have to switch as soon as I encounter them. This in turn racks up small damage, but its not an issue. Face the first guy and beat him with ease.
James vs Sage Nico: SL Licks them to death (well that just sounds wrong ...)
Continue on to second floor, face the next guy.
James vs Sage Chow: ... SL be Licking them till they drop (oh god, I can't wait to replace this move).
Third floor, face the next guy. This is boring.
James vs Sage Edmond: [insert something here involving the word Lick and not perverted] >.<
Switch around the party so Safari can gain some expierience, then head to the next floor.
James vs Sage Jin: I use Leech Life so I don't waste PP, and so I can stay in top percent.
James vs Sage Neal: See above.
James vs Sage Troy: SEE ABOVE. The Hoothoot actually made me use Bite, though. :F
James vs Sage Li: Beat him easily with Bite, taking like 1 HP of damage lol.
Alright, got Flash (worst.hm.ever), and I think that will wrap things up for today. No major progress today, but I just thought I'd let you guys know this is still happening.

Day Four:
Alright, guys, day four, and in this take we're going through Route 32, Union Cave. Slowpoke Well, and we're going to beat Bugsy. Fun fun fun. Exit Sprout Tower, heal my Pokaymonz, and head out to Route 32. I defeated some of these guys earlier, so now I should be able to progress faster. From now on, I'm not going record simple battles, but I'll record more important battles (rival, gym leaders, and team rocket). ALRIGHT!
Defeat any trainers I forgot to battle, heal my Pokemons again. Time for Union Cave! First Pokemon I encounter is ONIX! :O
... Safari OHKOs with Bite. Gosh, Safari, way to be gentle with it. >.>
Alright, Safari evolves after that battle (I hope you're happy with yourself >:c), and I finally exit this cruddy place. And now iT'S TIME TO GO KICK TEAM ROCKET'S BUTT. I switch around my part to put SL in the lead spot so it can evolve perhaps. I go talk to Kurt, then head out on my way to Slowpoke Well. First Pokemon I encounter is Slowpoke (ZOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG), and I have SL Night Shade it. I really feel I took a huge risk on that one, but my LC knowledge told me that was the correct thing to do (Slowpoke has 25 HP at level 5, Gastly is level 21. Hurrrr). I put it to sleep, then catch it. I decide to name it Essay after Shadow Arceus (I remember him having a Slowpoke avatar iirc).

I'm feeling rather nervous having three water-types, but I do have plenty of resists to their weaknesses. I should be good. NOW I take down bad guys!
James vs Rocket Grunt: I start off by sending out Essay to gain some experience, then switch to Safari because SL can't touch Normal-types. Easy win.
James vs Rocket Grunt: Like the last battle, I begin with Essay. This time, I switch to Breakfast. Easy win is easy.
James vs Rocket Grunt: Start with Essay, switch to Breakfast, win.
James vs Rocket Grunt: Wash, rinse, and repeat.
Now it's time for Bugsy! I'm going to easily sweep through her gym with Teapot, and make my way to the he-she. OH NO TEAPOT GOT POISONED! Now I might lose Teapot. D: ... it lives, thankfully, after rushing to the Pokemon Center. Thank god I was at a high level and had plenty of HP.
Alright, now it's time to face Bugsy!
James vs Gym Leader Bugsy: Start off with Breakfast versus his/her Metapod. I score a critical hit with Water Gun, then she sends out Kakuna. I use Water Gun, it hardens up (no comment). I hit it with another Water Gun to kill it, NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE BIG BOY! I send out Safari to combat the she-male's Scyther, and 2hko with Gust. I claim my second badge with no major deaths yet. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Day Five:
Load up my Game Boy and leave the gym. I'm going to cutback on a lot of the grinding I did in the last chapters; it's making this WAY too easy for me. I stop by the Pokemon Center to make sure I'm fully healed up, then go out to face Joeypal.
James vs Joeypal: I lead with Breakfast, he leads with a lonely level 12 Gastly. One Bite is enough to bring the poor thing down. What a shame. He switches in to his Bayleef, so I switch out to Teapot. It growls at me repeatedly. Not a worry, not like he can hurt me. I gust. Next turn he Razor Leafs me for 7% damage. LOL, taste my gust. He switches to Zubat, so I switch to SL. I hypnosis it, then move down its health with Night Shade. Good game I guess.
So Joeypal goes off into a tantrum like expected, and I head out to Ilex Forest. I put Essay out in the lead so he can rack up some levels, and make my journey to find the Farfetch'd. I'm suprised and happy that all of the Weedle I face don't get poison on the Poison Sting. A sigh of relief. I get Cut and the only guy who can learn it is Breakfast. NO. I'm allowing HM slaves just because. I am not wanting to be stuck with a low BP move on my main Pokemon.
So while looking for a HM Slave (Paras since I think it learns Cut), I encounter a Weedle. So I'm like "LOL even though Essay is at 10 or something lower HP he's go this". Send him out on Weedle, Curse, and then Weedle gets a Poison Sting with the poison and a critical hit. Now Essay dies to poison damage. It makes me mad that the first Poison they do get poison is right when my Pokemon is at low health.
