This is my very first FanFic... I have always liked Team Rocket, and always disappointed in how the Anime makes them look. Below is a story created by me, called Team Rocket Legacy. It follows a young man of 17 named Hiro. Hiro is a new recruit of Team Rocket, who has high expectations. His partner, Erika, is also young, and has big expectations. Together, they are assigned their first mission. It is assigned and at first, is an easy mission, but soon, it developes in to much more... A Battle for the Universe. Hiro had been on his Pokemon journey for almost a year now. He started very late as a Pokemon trainer, because he had to stay home to care for his sick mother. Since his Mother's death, Hiro has quickly earned seven badges and is on his way to the Viridian City Gym to earn his eigth, and final badge until he can enter the Pokemon league.
Hiro stepped onto a mat in front of the doors, which automatically opened. He walked in slowly. "Hello?" Hiro yelled. "Anyone here?" There was no answer. Suddenly, huge lights flashed on.
"Hello, and welcome to the Viridian City Gym!" a voice said. "I, I am Giovanni, this Gym's Leader."
Hiro starred at Giovanni, and spoke, "H-Hello... I'm looking for a challenge, I need to earn my eigth badge!"
"Ha ha! Yes, I was expecting you... Let's see what you got!" Giovanni threw a Pokeball and out came a Nidoqueen. "Choose your first Pokemon, Hiro." he said.
"Uh... How'd you know my na-... Oh well... Here goes nothing!" Hiro also threw a Pokeball and out came a Venusaur. "I choose Venusaur!!"
"Alright... Let us begin! Nidoqueen... Earthquake!"
"Hurry, Venusaur, use Vine Whip!"
Venusaur's Vines quickly shot towards Nidoqueen and bound it.
"Now, use Razor Leaf!" shouted Hiro.
While holding Nidoqueen with it's Vines, Venusaur shot leaves at Nidoqueen.
"NAAHH!!!" screeched Nidoqueen.
"Nidoqueen!" yelled Giovanni. "Return!" Giovanni pulled out a Pokeball and returned Nidoqueen to it. "Alright than... Nidoking, your turn!" Giovanni threw Nidoking's Pokeball and out it came. "Hurry Nidoking, use Horn Drill!" Nidoking quickly ran towards Venusaur, and drilled it's horn into Venusaur, knocking it out.
"Venusaur!!! Return!" Hiro yelled as he returned Venusaur to it's Pokeball. "Allllllrriighht Gyarados, DO IT!" Hiro sent out a Gyarados. "Use Surf!" Gyarados's Surf quickly reached Nidoking, hitting it directly, and knocking it out.
"Excellent job Hiro... I forfeit... You win..." Giovanni said.
"Waugh??!! What do you mean I win, you can't give up just like that!" Hiro yelled.
"But I did. I have an excellent opportunity for you Hiro, a once in a lifetime!" said Giovanni.
"Uhh... Uhh... *Cough* What kind...?" Hiro asked.
"I have been watching you ever since you demolished the Pewter City's Gym Leader. I have seen your incredible training abilities... I have been scouting you... I believe you are just what Team Rocket is looking for!" Responded Giovanni. "What do you say? We provide free room and board in exchange for your loyalty. You have a chance to recieve Pokemon that no one else in Kanto can get their hands on... What do you say?"
"Uh... I don't know..." said Hiro.
"It's a no brainer Hiro. With your skill, you can quickly climb the ranks of Team Rocket. You can become an Admin. faster than anyone else in Team Rocket ever has... You should take this offer, you have no where else to go..." Giovanni said.
"The last part's true... Umm... I guess... I guess I'll join!" Hiro said excitedly.
"Excellent choice! Follow me onto my helicopter, I can take you to the hideout where you can go through basic training, and recieve your uniform."
"Okay..." Hiro said while walking towards Giovanni. "Let's go!"

Half a year ago, Hiro began basic training for Team Rocket. Today, he was assigned his first mission with his new partner, Erika. Erika joined Team Rocket the same time Hiro did, and also has high hopes.
"Are you excited?" Erika asked.
"Huh? About the first mission...Not really, it's a wimpy task..." Hiro responed.
"Oh well, we've got to start somewhere I guess..." said Erika.
"I guess so. Seriously though, all we gotta do is find a few lousy moon stones at Mt.Moon!" Hiro said.
"Acording to the guide book, they're really hard to come by. I think if we can bring the boss a Clefairy, we can earn some points." replied Erika.
"Yeah... Let's get going." said Hiro.
As Hiro and Erika walked towards Mt. Moon from Pewter City, a strange balloon floated above.
"Hey Jesse, what do you think they're doing down there?" asked James.
"How would I know?!" yelled Jesse.
"Let's go down there and check 'em out!" suggested Meowth.
"Right!" replied both Jesse and James.
Meanwhile below, Erika and Hiro make their way towards Mt. Moon.
"Halt! Police!" yelled Officer Jenny while chasing after the two. "Team Rocket?! Your under arrest for the theft of multiple Pokemon!" she yelled.
