Tentacruel/Lanturn - Why no anticipation?

Like, everybody's talking about what's gonna happen at Battle Roads and stuff, and nobody is considering Tentacruel/Lanturn. It's a brilliant deck, I don't know if people see the awesomeness, and it's really cheap too.
 
Its an excellent T2 deck; spreads damage nonstop, stops energy heavy pokemon in its tracks, but has the - what I would call - "Stage 1 weakness". They have a OHKO-able hp, 60-80 from Lanturn for three energies - which is decent, but not out of the ordinary, and can be stopped by Bench protection.
 
Hehe...I beat that deck 3 times! It's OK, consistent, but doesn't have enough firepower and isn't poweful enough in my opinion.
 
Which have Energy. Upside, PWNs those Energy decks, Leafeon, Bliss, downside, they get KO'd by the Energy decks. I have Sceppy and Leafeon X out, and with 3 Energy, Lanturns done and he can't touch me. Oh? what you say? Tentacruel wants to use its energyless attack on my Sceptile? No problem! Allow me to do more damage to you.
 
Even worse, most of the time I run a Leafeon deck, I stick in Dawn Stadiums for special situations. Oh noes, your tentacruel Paralyzed and Poisoned me. Energy onto Leafeon and there goes another prize.
