I was going through my pokemon cards ans I noticed I had a Trading figure card called "X special, I had no clue what it was so I looked it up. and found:

It was due to have been released in the Groundbreakers expansion; however, due to the cancellation of set and the discontinuation of the TFG itself, this card was never released.

Has anyone ever seen this card or know if it's worth anything? I can't find any information about it what so ever.

RE: TFG

I don't think it's worth a ton, honestly. The TFG was never really that popular anyway.

It was likely included in one of the "starter packs" sold at Wal-Mart for a short period of time.

Get that PSA graded. Now. You have a card that was supposedly never released.

It WAS released...in very low quantities in starter kits at Wal-Mart back in 2007.

I believe I got it in a pack from dollarama(a store where everythings a dollars if you didn't catch that) actually...they always contain random odd cards

Then don't get it PSA graded. It's not my decision.

IDK anything about the tfg because I thought it was dumb. >.< but a friend of mine was an avid collector back then, he could have input.

TFG? Never heard of it... and I'm a serious collector.

That just shows how popular it was...

@OP. If you happen to have any figures from the Groundbreaker expansion you should hold on to them. Those are what's worth the real money.

RE: TFG "X Special"?

I always found those TFG cards to be pretty awesome looking. It's a shame the game died so fast. I have like a bunch of starter packs and random packs stashed away in the basement just in case they become worth a pretty penny in the future. But what I do know is the "prototype" figures from the unreleased sets definitely go for quite a bit!
