This is just quick thoughts about each fully evolved Pokemon in the set:
Beedrill G - This card can only be used as a tech, but not many thing are weak to grass types.
Tangrowth - This card will see some play due to its new LV.X. It can hit for quite a bit of damage, but it wont be very fast. You need to play it with Sceptile(GE).
Tangrowth LV.X - This card has a lot of potential. If you play it with Shaymin LV.X, it will have 170 hp. Another popular way to play this is with Blissey(PL). It can heal Tangrowth LV.X, and put energy in the discard for its attack-"miraacle grow".
Sceptile(LV.57) - This would be best played with the Sceptile from other sets and something that can attach extra energy from your hand(ex.Leafeon LV.X). With a lot of energy, it can hit for a large sum of damage and heal its self with its poke-body.
Wormadam Plant Cloak - I don't see this card getting much(if any) play. Its second attack could really hurt though.
Cherrim - I think this card will be under rated tech. If you play this with the other cherrim, you could abuse something like Turtwig GL. Its attack is simply bad.
Charizard - Unfortunatly, people would use this as a donking deck. If you loaded your bench with fire types(or cherrim[SF]), you could hit for 80 for one energy. Its second attack can also pretty consistantly hit for 80. His HP is also a bit above average.
Rapidash(LV.41) - I would have loved to use this card for Nationals. Its an amazing tech against SP Pokemon(especially Dialga G), but really can't do much damage.
Heatran - This card is too slow for use. It can't hit for much of anything, unless you attach four energy.
Omastar - This card can't really hit for that much, unless you do some quite difficult set-up, although his first attack could get annoying. It being a fossilution holds it back.
Pelipper - This card just flat out won't see play. Its first attack is very weak, and its second attack takes a while to set up.
Glalie - This card is a decent tech and an average attacker. If there is a stadium can in play, its first attack jumps from 20 damage to 50 damage, at the cost of discarding the stadium. Its second attack is okay at spreading, but it al depends on luck.
Frosslass - This card is pretty bad. It can only attack can hit for 50, but it fails of there is a stadium in play. Good thing its buddy Glalie can get rid of it for him. Its poke-power is kind of cool though.
Arceus(water) - The only reason this card will see play is because its good for type coverage in Arceus based decks.
Pichu - I know this card is NFE, but it can be a really good starter. Its like the old Jirachi(you know the one I'm talking about), except its an attack.
Raichu - This card is a neat little tech against SPs(especially Legos), but a bad straight attacker.
Zapdos G - This card just isn't good enough to use.
Manetric - This card doesn't really have much going for him. Its second attack doesn't do enough damage, but its fist attack eventually can.
Luxray - This card isn't too good either. Its first attack can be mean if you are lucky, but doesnt do a lot of damage. Its second attack can be kind of difficult to use, unless you run a lot of tools.
Gengar(LV.44) - Being a huge Gengar player and fan, I think this is from the heavens. The reason is its poke-power. Its like a Cresselia LV.X that can only move it between your opponent's pokemon. It makes it easier to snipe techs and take extra prizes. Its attack can also be really helpful. You can hit and switch into Gengar(SF), and you could flip for fainting spell.
Gengar LV.X - Geez this card is so broken. Huge spreading damage, free retreat, 140 HP, and shuffling LV.Xs back into the deck willmake this deck the BDIF.
Swalot - This card has an okay first attack, but it has to take a big hit to do a lot of damage. Its second attack is just too slow.
Golem - This card is just too weak, unless you consistantly discard an unrealistic amount of energy from your hand.
I will gradually update over the week.
