So lately i have been listening to the Beatles a lot. I had always enjoyed/appreciated them but within the last 2-3 months i have gone from rarely listening to them to about 20-30 songs a day. After watching some documentaries i realized just how amazing they were. I would have to say they are definitely in my top 5 most kick grass bands of all time (not that my opinions matter, it is just that i listen to A LOT of music). So lets hear it! Any other Beatles fans here?
Oh! I also wanted to let you guys know i have the same B-Day as John Lennon, that has gotta say something about my future. Hopefully.
 
I love the Beatles I think they are awsome! They are probably the best band ever, but don't criticize me for my opinion.
 
In all technicality they probably are. If you watch something like The Beatles Revolution Documentary its pretty amazing to learn about how they impacted everything, not just music.
 
The Beatles are all wonderful, talented musicians who moved the music industry forward.

However, they are overrated. It's really as simple as that.
 
Yeah, the Beatles are a great band that has changed music in immense ways and will forever be remembered and liked.

Yah. They really changed everything. If you are a male, live in the US and have hair that is longer than 3-4 inches you have The Beatles to thank. They really were the first of their kind. It's kinda weird but I even enjoyed their movies. lol Anyway what is everbody's favorite Beatles song? I post back with mine as soon as someone else posts back with their's.

They were good, but blown waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of proportion. Seriously, the general public is musically stupid, so why would you base anything off of what they think? If you don't believe me, just take a look at *shudders* Miley Cyrus... Ya... people are musically stupid. :/
 
obviously everyone who likes the Beatles is just a sheep person

a member of the sheeple, if you will.

nobody is allowed to like the Beatles because they think they're good
 
I don't mind some of The Beatles' music, but it's too mellow for my tastes. Groups like Kiss and ACDC are far better than these guys ever were.

Wow you have the same story as i. Over the last weeks i have been listening to them a lot.They are talented musicians and also the music they did has a story to them.
Eleanor rigby, was an idea that came to one of them while playing the piano, but at first it was a woman so they gave her the name eleanor of an actress and rigby came later also at first it was father McCartney, but changed it to McKensie after checking the phone book but here is where the really creepy or neat comes( You decide) In 1985 they discovered the graves of somebody called Eleanor Rigby, and a father McKensie, near a church that was like two milles away from the place that John Lennon and paul McCartney meet.
