RSE/FRLG The Best Generation

Does anyone else agree with me when I say this is/was the best generation of Pokemon? I think that the Hoenn region was absolutely incredible. From the daily lottery, contests, berries, the Eon Ticket I recently bought on Ebay, secret bases (which were straight up amazing), the region itself, the storyline, the legendaries, diving, Aqua and Magma, the rocket ship... the list goes on and on. Emerald version was such a revolutionary game, which I still play today. I really, really hope they make an Emerald remake.

Yeah, i dont know why everyone hates on Gen 3. It was amazing, absolutely amazing. Sure i've only been around since Gen 3 (Not sure if firered and leafgreen were Gen 3), but it was amazing. It really was one of the best generations and i really want a remake

Ruby was my first game, then Emerald. I'm not hyper impressed but Magma and Aqua were cool in Emerald. The main selling point to me then was that it was the first Battle Frontier. I was pretty psyched about that Best one so far too... Hopefully in BW they give the third one something different than a battle frontier, something as revolutionary though...

I think Fire Red and Leaf Green would count as Gen 3. Leaf Green was my first game, then Emerald. That just goes to show you that although Leaf Green was my first game, Emerald was EXCEEDINGLY better. I am dying for a remake as well.

OMG! I completely forgot about the Battle Frontier! Okay, the Emerald Battle Frontier is AMAZING. 300x better than any of the others ones they're making now. I have spent countless hours working on getting that Blastoise doll for my secret base. I'm around 55% there now, but it's just so freaking fun. I get a great feeling being there too, like I'm at a theme park.
We'll see how Black and White responds to the Battle Frontier of Emerald. I doubt anything they do in Black and White will honestly beat it, though.

This topic is already weighted towards the opinion that Gen 3 was the best. This should be in General Pokemon Discussion, imo...

I'd frankly have to say that Gen 2 was my favorite, and that I used to be a Gen 3 hater, but after rediscovering Emerald I changed my opinion about Gen 3 (now Gen 4 is my least favorite).

RSE is really just a diamond in the rough, and people hate on it for sometimes the most irrational reasons. I like it because it's got some of the best musical tracks in all of Pokemon. Still not my favorite, but I definitely love it.
