So i just started playing pokemon cards like around the stormfront pre-release and i had some questions about the city championships.Do u have to pay for anything?And can u use Japanese cards like Galatic's Conquest in the City Championships and so on even those these cards have yet to be released in ENG?
 
All Pokemon Organized Play events are free to enter. However, you may want to bring a few extra bucks because they usually have cards and packs you can buy at the tournaments. You'll also want money if you want to eat something during the lunch break.

As for your second question I'm not sure about that one so hopefully someone else can help you with that. ^^
 
MasterDarkrai93, all official Premier Event tournaments are free. Those are Battle Roads, Cities, States, Regionals, Nationals, and Worlds. Like Toxic said, you may want to bring money, because the venues may shop something appealing to you. I'd say bring around $15-30 for a Cities. For your second question, you can use any Japanese cards in a tournament AS LONG as they have been released in English with the exact same art work. Galatic's Conquest is not allowed on CC's right now, since they are not in english yet. You also need the English version of that card as a reference or a print out from the official Go-Pokemon Dex.
 
You can play Japanese cards from sets that have been released in America, but you have to have translations. Since there are no legal translations for sets like Galactic's conquest and Bonds to the end of time yet, you cannot play those in tournaments. Hope I helped!
