The College Thread

Limits, like fears, are just an illusion

College is quint essential when you think about your future, whether you want to be a doctor, nurse, accountant, manager, etc. Experience is needed when you think about what employers are looking for or knowledge in entrepreneurship when starting your own business.

So with that, what college do you want to go to? Do you even plan on going to college? What field are you specializing in?

For myself, I would like to go to, in no particular order:

  • Virginia McIntire
  • Wharton
  • MIT Sloan
  • Columbia
  • Stanford

All of thee are for business, of course.

I wanted to go to the Arts Institute of Los Angeles. But can't afford it. =[
So I'm going to community college this summer and until I can transfer somewhere.

Although I'm only a freshman in high school and haven't a real idea of what college or what to major in there are some just overall good colleges that have crossed my mind like:

Marquette University

Boston University

St. Louis University

I don't really need to know at this point so I didn't delve into it information wise, but knowing your GPA early and what Colleges look for is good!

I actually just graduated from college last week. I went to Ohio University. My degree was one of those "create your own major" type programs, where my focus was on art, english, and psychology.

I'm a freshmen, like Moneyking, but some of the colleges that I want to go to are:

University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill)
University of Wisconsin (Madison)

I think UW Madison has the bigger chance, because I've heard that they have a world-class science department, and it's In-state for me, so It's less money. :p

I'm hoping very much to follow in my Father's footsteps and attend the University of Arizona. Once there, I'd love to study Psychiatry and later attend medical school :)

I want to go to Yale, and MIT. But I probably would have to get 1st place in worlds for about 5 years. ( like that will ever happen ):(

I go to the University of Houston, Victoria/ as a Mathematics major :)

University of Oklahoma at Norman, Mississippi State, or the University of Missouri at Columbia. All of these universities offer a major in meteorology, and these are the closest universities to me that do offer a major in meteorology, because none offer one in Arkansas. .-.

First Pima Community College, then University of Arizona or ASU. Not sure where I want to go. Some degree with humanites.

dmaster out.

That's where I want to go but I need a Scholarship =/ Either an art college or a college with a good Women's Basketball Team...

My dream is to go to the University of Texas at Austin, but I'll ready need to step it up. I might just end up choosing an in-state community college/university. I live in Pennsylvania.

Currently a freshman at Scripps College for Women. Planning on majoring in English and Japanese or Art.

I'm already in college, well actually it is a University. Anyway I go to Tokyo University, trying to survive the piles of homework and evil teachers. (Not really evil just mean) and having the worst time in Japanese (Since I am getting a bunch of homework on this subject, having tripled homework) and English (My teacher gave me a C just because the words I used in my essays were beyond his vocabulary) -__-

Anyway I am from America, but I just had more than enough GPA to attend colleges/universities out of the country.

I went from Ohio, after being accepted to OSU and UToledo, and migrated to paradise. I'm a graduating senior at the Florida Institute of Technology, finishing my BS in Electrical Engineering.

I'm in 7th grade, so I've got a long way to go.

I wanted to go to Harvard or Yale, but my dad told me they specialize in lawyer stuff, which might be kind of boring. MIT might be fun.

I really wanted to go to the

but it might be weird there.

I'm not exactly sure where I want to go yet.
