Hi Everyone. You might've seen me here and there. I've been here for a week or two now. But I've certainly been on the internet long enough to know about CMP's Neo Redux set :D It may seem like copying - and in a way it is. So a great big thank-you to CMP!

I just want a big entrance to the Beach, rather than just one of those come-in-and-say-hi-then-go-away-and-forgeters.

I hope my set will be carried on and that I won't give up, but we'll see, soon enough ;)

My goal in this set is to recreate all of the Pokémon (Generations I through to V) as a Delta-Species Pokémon - making them a different type that would be loosely based on the Pokémon. For instance, the Bulbasaur card will be {W} -Type, because the bulb need water to grow. The Charmander line will be {F} -Type, because Ash's Charizard uses Submission. And so on and so forth...

I aim for realisticness rather than the aesthetics, but I do try my best :3

Nice Bulbasaur! I love Delta, and this is great art and everything in general--I'm just not certain you're using the right font for the HP; it looks a bit bold.

Nice work, Netherwing! I'm glad I could be of inspiration...it makes me feel that all I do is worth it. I like the concept, and can't wait to see more. I'm curious as to what Delta types each Pokémon will be. :)

Neo Redux's spiritual predecessor, EX:Vision, actually used the EX blanks so if you need help font-wise or anything, please let me know! HP should be Futura LT Medium Bold, about size 19.

Anywho. It might look like some graphical errors on Ivysaur's picture, but the picture came with those.

Cards by Whispeon? You remind me of someone I know, ... maybe you are someone I know :/

The fonts are slightly off. I advise you to take the EX-Series tutorial by Fangking Omega which seems to be highly accurate. It can be found here.

1 thing I usually do when doing Delta cards is recolor the Pokemon image with the color of the card blank. For an example, a green looking Bulbasaur is odd looking on a Water type delta blank. So, (with the artist's permission) you can attempt to give Bulbasaur a much more bluish range if you wish, that would make the picture in the card look much better.

This looks promising. Great work so far. Anyway, I guess HoS just messed up with the copy/paste (it's his avatar BTW), and I think this is the link that HoS wanted in the first place.

For Venusaur I see a few mistakes.

-Ivysaur should be fitted in the Evo Circle, not over it.

-Poke-Power should be worded as :-
Once during your turn before your attack put 1 Regenerate Counter on Venusaur. A Pokemon with a Regenerate Counter can't retreat. In between turns, remove 2 damage counters from all Pokemon with a Regenerate Counter.

I'm glad someone is continuing the counter mechanisms.

Okay, the Charmander line. Here's what I see.

Charmander :-
Overall very good card. Basic and everything with a single attack. Not overloaded. I still find your font wrong. Remember that the correct font is Gill Sans Std or MT. Maybe you are using the correct font on the wrong setting. I suggest you PM CMP for help, because he can explain everything 200% more effectively than I can.

Charmeleon :-
The wording on Defense Break should go from the second line as :- "During your next turn all attacks of Charmeleon does the base damage plus 10 more damage to the Defending Pokemon"

Charizard :-
Seems alright. Lovely match of the artwork to the blank.

Overall :- Very nicely done Netherwing. Loving the Charizard.

Yes, the fonts do look better. Ok, critique time ...

Squirtle :-
The wording of "Hiding" should go as (at least I think) :- "During your opponent's next turn when your opponent's Active Pokemon attacks Squirtle you may flip a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing." Nice concept. I like the artwork choice too.

Wartortle :-
The wording of Iron Counter should go as :- "This attack does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on Wartotle" Also, I find the artwork too blurred. It makes the eye tiring and the cards appearance level to go down when artwork such as that is used. Despite the artwork, I like it.

Blastoise :-
Probably my favorite. Lovely artwork too.

Overall :- You are improving, very much so. Keep up the good work.

You are most definitely improving, my friend! Besides some wording issues (most evident is Wartortle -- Iron Counter doesn't need "This attack does...," just start with "Does..."), the cards look great. I think the attack text is still too close to the border. It looks like you're at around 5 pixels now -- make it 10.

Good work...and for the record, I chose random Pokémon. :)
