I was playing Sapphire Version, and I encountered a wild Wurmple. It was a shiny Wurmple. I caught it, looked at it, then released it because I thought it was a glitch. I didn't know about shinies back then. I was so stupid... lol.
Thief said:The first time I played Black I forgot to save and played through 6 badges in a day. Fell asleep leaving it on and woke up to find that my DS died. Which means I lost all of my data and I waited 2 weeks to play again, because I had no motivation to pick it back up. lol. I lost all my pokemon.

Hmm. Not sure if 'liking' on this thread is liking the fact that you had to go through something suckish, or showing pity. So confused!!
I've done that before, but not to that extent. I might have lost, at the most, 2 badges worth of data.

I didn't have much experience with the games back then...

May I ask why you sold it?
I was so upset when Gamestop stopped selling GBA games. I had been saving up for Ruby and Emerald, both of which they had. Then, I go there, and what do you know? GONE

It was during the time in my life when I thought $5 was gangsta.
Chariblaze said:I used the Master Ball on Articuno in Red, which isn't the worst thing, but it wasn't Mewtwo.
But I got one: I guess I sorta rushed through the Aqua Base in Sapphire, and so I completely missed the Master Ball because it gets caved in later... So glad that changed in Emerald. That's probably contributed to my need to explore EVERYTHING now, heh.

So when the policeman asked me for his name (for the sake of naming your rival, but I didn't know this as it was my first Pokemon game and I was nine), I keyed in "???"
And that's what I got for the rest of the game -.-
