The Elite Fantasy Triathlon is a Three-Sport Fantasy Keeper League set to compete in the three main fantasy sports, Fantasy Football, Basketball and Baseball. There will be 12 owners, both experienced and beginners alike, who will compete in the first year of competition. Of course this is Fantasy Sports, so for those of you who dont know what that is, I would leave now or Google it
As far as how this league will work let me explain. There will be three divisions of owners, 3 divisions of 4 owners. There are as such.Eastern Division

Basic Rules and Regulations
1. Each owner will represent 3 Professional Sports teams, one in each league. The teams will be picked by the owners in a draft. After the teams are selected, you will pick 3 Players from the team to be on your fantasy team (4 for MLB). After that, the rest of the players, both from the teams you picked as well as the un-picked teams' players, will go into a pool and there will be a draft to finish up the teams. From there, we play as normal. When another sports' season is about to begin we will do the same process with the new
sport. Here is the tentative schedule of events
Mid June 09-Pick NFL Teams
Early August 09-Draft NFL Fantasy Teams
September 09-NFL Season Starts
Early October 09-Pick NBA Teams
Mid October 09-Draft NBA Fantasy Teams
November 09-NBA Season Starts
February 10-Pick MLB Teams
Early March 10-Draft MLB Fantasy Teams
April 10-MLB Season Starts
Some of the seasons will overlap, so it will hopefully be a seamless transition from sport to sport. There will be 3 1st Place Winners, 3 2nd Place Winners and 3 3rd Place Winners in total. After Year 1 is over, if we enjoyed the process and would like to keep it going, we will. If not, we will end it there and say our goodbyes to the Fantasy Triathlon =]
2. There are a ton of help guides with fantasy sports. If you are concerned that you dont know too much about a certain sport, dont worry. Simply Google Fantasy NFL (or whatever sports) Mock Draft or Draft Guide and you'll get many sites that can help you with lists, information and others. Of course all the players are ranked through Yahoo!, do you can consult that as well if needed.
3. You will need to be active.....we will POSSIBLY be replacing owners at the end of one sport leading into another if there is an activity problem. With football its an easy once a week lineup check, but with NBA and MLB you need to be checking it a few times a week to be considered active enough. It only takes a second to set your lineup for days (up to 4) in advance, so it wont be that big of a hassle.
4. This is gonna be a ton of fun! Fantasy Sports is a great medium to not only talk about sports, but follow sports in a competitive manner. Usually the leagues I run or co-commish are very sociable so hopefully this will be no different and we could start some rivalries and trash talking =]
Stages of the Fantasy Triathlon
Fantasy Football-Gridiron Legends
This is the first sport in the league, NFL Football, and we will be all drafted and ready to go by August. This will be a Head to Head league, with 12 owners each representing a team. The team names should be as follows:Team Name Here (NFL Team Here)

Fantasy Basketball-Kings of the Court
This will be the second sport in the triathlon, and it will be a NBA Basketball Fantasy league. We will be drafted and ready by Mid-Late October and the season will start in Late October Early November.....from there we will go, but for now this is all the details we have.The Official Team Order-Fantasy Basketball (NBA) 2009

Fantasy Baseball-Field of Dreams
The final league of the triathlon, Fantasy Baseball will be where it all ends. This is the longest stretch of the league, and will run from April to September. After this league is over, we will tally up all the results from all three leagues and crown a Fantasy Triathlon Champion! From there, we will be deciding if we would like to continue or not =]So there it is! If you have any questions about the league please feel free to ask. We hope to get things started by June 10th or so with the picking of the NFL Teams.
