The First Two Movies Came with Promo Cards?

If i were to find a sealed vhs copy of the first two movies, would they definitely have the Mewtwo and Pikachu promos? I've heard the original dvds came with them too, but they have been rereleased and i could end up recieiving on of those rereleases.

Yeah my copy of the VHS for the movies came with the promo cards. I think the second movie also came with a Lugia coin. But yeah, I would assume you would get the promo cards if it's sealed. I don't thin the VHS copies were re-released. As for the DVD re-release, I thought it was just a 3 in 1 that was released years after?
