The format of next year

obviously, we should know that the rest of EX sets will be rotated out next year. Question is, what could the format be like. think about it

There will be no

Celio's - replaced with bebe's
Scramble or DRE - replaced with nothing
Castaway or Scott - nothing to use an engine as

my point is, a lot of good cards came from EX

with this new format of no Special Energy and POP packs of reprints that we already have, what kinds of decks will we be reduced to, T2 decks?

Well, decks will just slow down, making even more options to play. I personally would like a bit slower format.

DRE could still be replaced in sets after DP5....

I don't see DRE coming back. Hopefully they will print a new energy that will provide 2 rainbow
 
For some reason, I cannot help but think/hope that there will be a replacement for Scramble or DRE in the future. Not the near future, but probably later.

Decks will run slower seeing as how no Special Energies will be around to boost your playing speed, but I think that just gives you more time to think about your moves.

Lately I've been using mainly Stage 1 or Basic Pokemon instead of Stage 2s, so constantly needing to search does not effect me as much. However, those people playing Stage 2s might have a bit of a problem since they are used to their searching engines.

I'm really excited and stoked at how this will turn out.
 
They will remake many special energies we already have now as there's no usable special energy in the DP sets. So sooner or later they will have to replace the energies anyways.

However, I wish cessy will hit the grave.
 
T2 decks will kill with the release of the new technical machine TS-1 it lets you do a accention for free and there is also pokerader and pokedex handy 910is the only things i'm missing are:
1 castaway
2 buffer piece
3 strength charm
4 celios
5 cessation crystal
6 pokenav
7 scott
8 crystal beach
lots of others
 
Except that T2 decks like their DRE to keep up with the bigger guns. I don't need silly DRE to let my Non-T2 Kill deck keep up with those silly T2 decks.
