AN: Hello once again it is me NZ. I decided to get back to writing and I am really determined to finish. Just in case if I have writers block or something going on in my life, I will ask a mod to lock until further notice. I will finish this fan fiction! (I also have three chapters that are already finish so expect an update at least once every three days)

Anyway I hope you like it here's the first chapter!

Chapter 1

My name is Angela, the daughter of the worst Team Rocket team alive, yeah that’s right I am the daughter of Jessie and James. My life wasn’t close to normal, at a young age of seven I was sent to the Rocket Academy to learn how to steal, become as cold and heartless, and to hurt Pokemon. The academy was hell, I neglected all those teachings, emotions meant to me was that, I was still human and alive and the Rocket teachings went against my beliefs.

I was the exact opposite of Team Rocket material, I actually happened to care about Pokemon, didn’t have a single bit of what people called evil in me, I could never steal a thing, I could never hurt a Pokemon, and I could not throw away my emotions and become some kind of robot slave. This made my parents disappointed, liked I could care any less, they barley even saw me, so there was no point, they had missions in Kanto, but it turned into something more and never came back often. The only thing they new about me was when I was born and my name that was all.

Being the child of the worst Team Rocket team ever and neglecting the teachings of the Rockets often lead to many people picking on me, either about my parents or the way I acted. I would hold it all inside until the end of the month when I let all of my feelings out.

I use to have long, blue, glossy hair, but I dyed it black, high lighted it yellow, and cut it short, which put my mom in agony. My dad really didn’t care, but seeing his wife in agony didn’t really go with him, and demanded that I grew my hair out and dye it back to its original color. They soon forgot about it though so it didn’t really matter. My eyes were nothing like theirs, I heard it came from grandma on Dad’s side; they were a cold gray, which could turn into a happy green in the sun. I reached to about a 4’9, wasn’t to short or to tall either, and I usually wore a t-shirt and jeans.

“April 5th,” I muttered staring at the calendar, “I’m finally ten.”

“I hate this place so much; all I want is to become a Pokemon trainer, not cooped up in this place for another five years,” I sighed, “Why can’t I be free from this place?”

My mom and dad didn’t want me to handle Pokemon after finding out how I was really like, they looked me down in shame, they wanted me to be like the others, successful and evil so they could retire and get all the free stuff they wanted. (They are really lazy when they want to be)

I got ready to go to the academy, even though I would love to skip out, I couldn’t since my mom and dad would freak if they knew I skipped. I don’t even know why I even cared about them freaking out, maybe because they’ll ground me in my room, or should I say innovated closet, for a long time.

After getting dressed, t-shirt and jeans plus a bag, I marched into the kitchen and prepared some breakfast for myself and putting leftover food in the fridge for dinner. My mom and dad were coming in today, probably giving me their presents that they made, or bought with their low salary. (I am surprised how they managed to pay for food)

Ugh the academy, I think I have a test today, something about hurting Pokemon or something well like I could even care, I mean why would anyone want to hurt a Pokemon for anyway?

TimeSkip:

Well, I was now home from the academy, and like I predicted there was a test, which I know I failed on, it was about hurting Pokemon. I had to put things that I would do since I never paid attention to the lessons that the teacher taught. I mean hurting Pokemon, I could never hurt one with my bare hands ever nor could I use them as my slave at all. (I still wonder why they still give me tests and homework)

“SURPRISE!” Voices shouted when I entered the apartment. It was my mom and dad with their partner Mewoth in vases? I still wonder how they could even fit in those things with out breaking them. I mean really they could even fit in a pan.

“No their presents!”

“Anyways my present first!” Jessie stated. She handed me a deformed looking present with red Christmas wrapper, didn’t she get it yet that I did not like red to begin with? I opened the wrapper carefully to find something that resembled a blow dryer of some sort except it was ten times bigger.

“Do you like your new leaf blower honey? Now you can blow dry your hair even faster!”

“Aren’t leaf blowers, I don’t know for leaves! Last year was a rake to brush my hair and now a leaf blower to dry my hair!” I thought.

“Oh I love it!” I cried sarcastically, luckily she bought it.

“Here’s Dady’s present now!” James stated proudly handing me a present wrapped in blue paper. I don’t like blue either, why can’t they pick up any hints that I leave them?! I carefully removed the wrapper to find a frame with bottle caps inside.

“I am giving you bottle caps, so you can start your very own collection!” James cried. “Do you like it honey?”

“What am I supposed to do with bottle caps?” I asked mentally, “I don’t even want to collect them.”

“I love them Dad, you’re the best!” I cried sarcastically once again, luckily he bought it.

“Oh my daughter I am so proud of you!”

“Yeah right,” I thought.

“Ok now my gift kido,” Meowth, their partner stated. Did I mention that their Pokemon partner could talk, probably not. Anyway he gave me a present that looked like a cylinder, with brown wrapping paper. I neatly went through it to find a can of orange juice, open and empty.

“What am I supposed to do with orange juice can that is empty!?”
I thought.
“I hope you like your orange juice,” Meowth stated happily.

“I would enjoy it, but there is nothing in the can,” I told the Pokemon.

“Really, I might have drank it all then,”

“OK that’s it I want out of here!”

“Oh to mention, honey, we are going to be in Hoenn for a while,” Jessie stated, “So stay here and try to get out of trouble for being to goody, goody.”

“Like that will happen.”
“Don’t worry Mom I won’t!” I told her sarcastically.

“That’s our girl!” James announced.

“I really want out of here now!”

TimeSkip once again:

My mom and dad left, I was alone for the rest of the night thinking about running away. I wanted to be free so much, to be around Pokemon, to know that I didn’t have to be confined to Team Rocket because I was related to them. Well like that could happen, there were guards guarding this place twenty-four-seven. Yep 0% chance of getting out.

I fluffed up my pillow looking out my makeshift window, “I want out of here, somewhere I can be free, I want to become a Pokemon trainer.”

I soon fell into darkness, hearing an angelic cry before I went out like a light.

AN: Here's the next chapter, sorry if it seems a bit rushed!

Chapter 2

Why did my bed feel great? It was never this great before; did I get a new bed? Nah that was impossible, like my parents could even afford a bed that wasn’t cheap to begin with. Why was I so warm, I never felt this warm before?

My eyes started to flicker a bit, letting light enter my eyeballs; it was soon I opened my eyes completely to find myself in an unfamiliar room. The walls were plain white and lights were hanging on top of the ceiling, machines were at every corner of the room, and I happened to be lying on a bed.

“Where am I? What happened to the closet, and why is this bed so warm and fluffy?” I asked mentally.

“I’m sorry, but Prof. Birch is not here,” A voice stated from outside.

“Prof. Birch? Wasn’t the professor in Kanto, Prof. Oak?” I asked mentally.
“Maybe I am not even in Kanto anymore.”

“Wait, how is that even possible?” I asked accidentally out loud.

“Hey what was that?” Asked a new voice.

“Oh she’s awake,” The voice that I had heard earlier stated.

“Who’s she?” The use to be new voice asked.

“Oh, the professor found a girl asleep on the grass two days ago, so we brought her here.”

“I was sleeping in the grass, Ok something is happening here,” I thought.

The door opened and entered a geeky looking man, long brown hair, framed by glasses, and wearing a lab coat, jeans, and a turtle neck sweatshirt. The other was a female around my age with a red bandana with random white designs, her top was pretty similar to her bandanna, she wore gloves, a leather bag strapped to her waist, and she wore white looking shorts.

“Where am I?” I asked.

“Oh your in Little Root Town, in Prof. Birch’s lab,” The man in the lab coat stated.

“Little Root Town?”

“Yes, Little Root Town as in the Hoenn region.”

“Can you repeat that?” I asked again, shocked.

“Yes, Little Root Town as in the Hoenn region.”

“But, t-that’s impossible! I was in Kanto, for sure!” I stated loudly.

“Kanto? You must be mistaken, you’re in Hoenn right now,” The man stated.
A long pause.

“Does Prof. Birch give Pokemon to beginning trainers?” I asked.

“Well yes, he is like Prof. Oak.”

“That means I can get a Pokemon!” I thought excitedly.

“Hi, I’m May!” The female introduced herself.

“Angela,” I plainly stated.

“Well May, Prof. Birch is probably in the fields,” The man stated.

“Thanks!” May exclaimed as she made a march out the door.

“Hey can I come with you?” I asked stopping May from marching.

“Really?” She asked.

“Well I have to thank the professor for letting me stay here, even though I wasn’t even there to see him take me here in the first place,” I said.

“Well then, the two of you can go together!”

“Yes, I can have someone to talk to then!” May cheered happily.

“But, I don’t have a bike.”

“You could use the professor’s bike!” The man suggested.

“Old people ride on bikes these days?” I thought mentally, “Maybe it is a new generation or something.”

Ok so anyway May and I rode on bikes, riding down the dirt path through the forest. Man if they called this a town I wonder why they have a forest. I mean the town is too big to be a town already seeing it from the mountain side we just passed.

“They really need a new definition of town.”

We rode along until we found a big giant ditch, well not really a ditch, but let’s just call it that for now. Anyway we found a man in a tree, trembling for his life, and at the bottom were three dog like Pokemon. Man did they look awesome with their grey coat.

“Professor?” May exclaimed making it sound like a question.

“Oh May and that girl, nice to see you, but we can catch up later, right now just help me get rid of these Poocheynas,” Prof. Birch stated.

“Ok now I can’t call them cool doggy thingies,”
I thought.

“Anyway, just look in that bag over there and pick a Poke Ball,” Prof. Birch instructed.

May nodded and soon followed action, but I reacted a bit quicker and reached for the bag. May saw my sudden movement and decided to back off. Opening the bag I found three Pokeballs on top of what seemed to be a mess of papers and books. Man was this guy unorganized. I threw one of the devices in the air, and soon appeared a fish looking Pokemon, ok maybe not a fish since it had a fin on its head, two orange, well I don’t really know what to call it, on each cheek, it was blue, and four legged.

“Great a Mudkip, excellent choice,” Prof. Birch commented.

“Since it is blue I think it is a Water Type, maybe studying up on Squirtle wasn’t a bad idea then.”
I thought.

“Mudkip use Water Gun on one of those Poocheynas!” I commanded, since they weren’t really grouped close enough for one attack to take care of them well what I was thinking, “Yeah spray those doggy thingies!”
Mudkip faced forward and took in a deep breath, before breathing out a blast of water that managed to force not only one, but all three dog like Pokemon flying against the earth wall. The blue finned Pokemon cried happily in triumph. The professor climbed down the tree once the Poocheynas retreated and walked over to us. Grabbing Mudkip’s Pokeball, he pushed the center of it and it was soon enveloped in a red light, before placing back in his bag.

“Really good, um,”

“Oh, I’m Angela,” I stated.

“Really good work Angela, you’ll make a fine trainer someday!” He complimented.

“YES, A compliment!”

“Anyway, what were you doing up in that tree?” May asked.

“No time to explain May, we really have to go,”

Soon sparks of orange electricity started to flash, I glanced over at Prof. Birch to find him flinching a bit.

“We are running out of time, come with me!” Prof. Birch ordered running off. May and I quickly followed guiding the bikes along with us. More orange flashes of electricity charged in the sky, flashing up to the clouds.

“Someone’s trying really hard to get rid of carbs,” I mumbled.

“No time to be joking, Angela, this is a serious matter!” Prof. Birch exclaimed loudly.

“How did he hear me? Does he have like sound sensors in his ears or something, either that or those ears of his are fake and actually hiding big giant ears!” I thought.

We arrived in a clearing in the forest to find a yellow mouse, with a lightning bolt like tail and with awesome, freakishly looking, orange, eyes, and with red cheeks. There was also a male with a cap that covered his wild looking hair, his skin was a bit tanner than mine, he wore a blue sweat shirt, black fingerless gloves, and blue jeans.

“He wears too much blue, I wonder if he wears any other colors besides that,” I wondered mentally, “Yep, his name is going to be hat boy, until I figure out his name!”

“Oh I forgot about the green bag, but does that even count as clothes?” I thought. “Wait why am I thinking about clothes?”

“Wait, you have to move back, the Pikachu might explode!” Prof. Birch cried while orange sparks flew from the Pokemon’s cheek.

“But I have to do something!”

“Yeah something, hopefully he doesn’t get killed in the process.”

“PIKA!”

The mouse Pokemon cried viciously before running through the think grass, orange electric sparks flashed again and again until the Pokemon cried once more. Seeing through the thick grass, I saw that the Pokemon jumped up the cliff.

“OK that is stupid, but it seems that it seems ill or something,” I thought.

“PIKACHU!” Hat boy cried, running through the grass, jumping off the cliff, along with the electric mouse like Pokemon.

“OK now that was stupid, but admirable.”

“Hey, Angela, can you help us pull him up?” Prof. Birch asked holding a rope in his hands. I nodded my head grabbing the rope and sending it down the cliff sending it down slowly, guiding it down the rocky cliff, making it to hat boy who was hanging on a branch.

“Hey hat boy, hold on to the freaking rope!” I called. He looked up, looking annoyed for a bit, but grabbed the rope anyway. Prof. Birch, May, and I pulled on the rope with all our might, man was he heavy, maybe he should consider some way to loose some weight.

We managed to pull him up on the earthy surface, with his Pikachu in hand, pleasantly licking his somehow injured arm, hat boy seemed to grin a bit.

“Come on Pikachu, lets get back to the lab so we can get you looked at OK?” Hat boy asked.

“PIKA!”
Then some random moment later, a big giant robot fell from the sky and landed on its feet. It was shaped like one of those batteries used for remotes, with two metal rods sticking up from the top, it was embroidered with black and red, and it had two wire shaped arms. The plat form that supported its head and soon people came out, two familiar looking people.

Mom and Dad.

“HUH what’s that?” Prof. Birch asked.

“Prepare for Trouble for the unteenth time!” (Is unteenth even a number?)

“And make it double!”

“To protect the world from all that is good!”

“To unite evil within the nation!”

“To overthrow love and replace it with evil!”

“To extend our rule to the stars and beyond!”

“Jessie!”

“And James!”

“Team Rocket, blasts off with the speed of light!”

“Surrender now, or prepare for battle!”

“What’s the point?” Jessie asked randomly.

“Mewoth, that’s me!”

“What a boring motto,”
I thought.

“Prof. Birch, that’s Team Rocket and they always are out there to steal my Pikachu!” Hat boy explained.

“So that’s what they do for a living? They stalk hat boy around and try to steal his Pokemon? Now I can see why they are considered failures amongst Team Rocket to begin with,” I mentally stated.

“Well at least they didn’t notice me!”

“Who are they?” May asked.

“Never heard of these guys,” Prof. Birch stated.

“Trust me they are always up to no good,” Ash told him.

“Isn’t the word, I don’t know, evil!”
I mentally exclaimed.

“PIKACHU!”

The mouse Pokemon stuck its head out of its trainers arms, hat boy looked at it strangely.

“No don’t do anything, you’ll get hurt!”

“So, if that’s how you want to play, will play it for you!” (Worst comeback ever)

Out of no where a wire came out, attached to a metal grip and latched onto Pikachu, pulling it out of hat boy’s arms. In instinct, Pikachu sent out electric sparks, sending it through the cable, but it didn’t seemed to do anything, but let the yellow mercury in the gauge go up. Pikachu then violently sent out more electricity, making the orange sparks come out of its cheeks, it rose in pressure.

“Pikachu’s electrical output is incredible!” Prof. Birch exclaimed.

“Now that is some power,” May commented.

“Yeah talk about it,” I said tired of my long silence.

Pikachu seemed to stop for a moment, a confident and relaxed grin on its face, before doing a random pose, sending out electricity. The electricity was yellow this time, sending sparks every where, powerful sparks made clapping sounds over and over again.

“The bikes, they are barbecued,” I stated pointing at them, seeing them getting burnt by the electricity, May gave a look of horror. The whole machine robot thing, was enveloped by electricity, it was too much for it though that it finally exploded.

“TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!”

Time skip:

“It seems that, Team Rocket’s machine got rid of the extra electricity out of its system, a long night res, should do the trick,” Prof. Birch explained. May and I were spying a bit worried about hat boy and his Pokemon. It wasn’t until May nearly broke a vase full of flowers when they noticed us.

“Ah, May and Angela to, nice to see you, but what are you doing?” Prof. Birch asked.

“We thought we could introduce ourselves,” May replied, “my names May.”

“I’m Ash from Pallet Town,” Hat boy stated.

“And, I’m Angela, from,” I hesitated, “Viridian City.”

“Viridian City?” Ash questioned, “That means your from Kanto like I am!”

“Hm, so you are from Kanto strange, but I’ll ask later,” Prof. Birch mused, “Anyway, May why don’t you pick your first Pokemon?”

“Your first Pokemon?” Ash questioned, sounding excited.

“Um sorry to interrupt,” I said aloud, everyone stared at me, “I was wondering if I could get my first Pokemon as well.”

“Why, aren’t you from Kanto?” Prof. Birch asked.

“Well you see, my parents, don’t want me to have Pokemon, and when I just turned ten, they laid down the law and told me that I couldn’t get one,” I explained, “And I went to sleep late at night, but when I woke up I ended up here.”

“Interesting story,” Prof. Birch mused, “I guess it wouldn’t hurt.”

Everyone stared at me for a moment, but they looked at the desk soon after. Prof. Birch picked a Pokeball off from the table and threw it in the air. On the ground was a green gecko, lizard like Pokemon, with a green, strong looking, tail, with orange snake like eyes.

“A water type?” Ash asked.

“No, stupid it’s a grass type!”
I thought not daring to say it out loud.

“It’s a grass type, Ash, a Treeko to be exact,” Prof. Birch told him.

“It’s creepy!” May exclaimed backing up against the wall.

Prof. Birch sighed, taking another Pokeball from the table and threw it in the air. On the ground with Treeko appeared Mudkip, who was tilting its head, side to side.

“This is Mudkip,” Prof. Birch said.

“A water type,” I stated.

“Yes, that’s right, Angela,” Prof. Birch commented and I sheepishly smiled.

“I think, it likes Angela more,” May stated, noticing it moving towards me. To tell the truth I didn’t notice it either, until May pointed it out. Mudkip jumped up and down beside my leg, rubbing my leg a few times, before giving out a victory cry.

“I’ll take Mudkip,” I smiled.

“Well then take these, a Poke’dex and Pokeballs,” Prof. Birch stated handing them to me.

“Next, meet, Torchic,”

A bright orange bird appeared; it had two golden stubby legs, no wings, and a miniature beak. It trotted over to May, giving a happy cry, before rubbing its head against May’s leg.

“I like this one!” May exclaimed.

“OK, be sure to take those, Pokeballs and the Poke’dex as well.”

“I will,” May sighed.

Angela said:
“Old people ride on bikes these days?” I thought mentally, “Maybe it is a new generation or something.”

LOL :D

This is a great story, I really can't think of ways to improve it. Why didn't Jessie and James recognize their daughter though?

42 chocolate: Like is said in chapter one they don't know much about their daughter, and in this fan fiction, I plan to make them *cough* a bit stupid.

Funny chapter!
I laughed when Prof. Birch said "the Pikachu might explode!" :p
I wonder how Angela got to the Hoenn region.

Chapter 3

“Well what are your goals?” Ash randomly asked waling down the dirt path, I was missing the name hat boy already.

“I always wanted to become a great Pokemon Trainer, and participate in the Pokemon League,” I answered.

May paused for a bit, gasping for some air, “I haven’t really decided yet, but I have time, I’m sure I’ll be able think of something.”

That was most talking we ever did. Most of the time Ash was talking with Pikachu, May was trying to catch up, well I was in my own little world, thinking about future battles. I had just battled a trainer a while ago, and I managed to pull off a win, much to my relief.

“Hey since we are so close to Odale Town, want to run their Pikachu?” Ash asked.

“Running? Is this guy crazy? After we went shopping and dyed my hair, he just went off running out of Little Root, and now when he has been walking for fifteen minutes, he wants to run again?!” I cried mentally giving a depressed glance in May’s direction, who seemed to get I was saying, since she was tired as well. (Well I now had brown hair, with my bangs sticking out, bleached blond, I wore a white short sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans that reached to about my knees, a tan leather bag was slung across my shoulders, the strap running down my right shoulder to about my left hip, and on the strap was Mudkip’s Pokeball)

“Running again? We already ran out of Little Root Town and now you want to run again!” May complained.

“It’s not my fault you walk to slow!” Ash argued.

“You know she had a bike, well until your Pikachu barbecued it, oh that reminds me, you also fried Prof. Birch’s bike too, I wonder what he’s going to say?” I told him.

Ash froze, what seemed like guilt was swallowing him whole. I loved the guilt trip, I loved the reaction of people when they fall for it, and their reactions are fun to laugh at.

“I guess we can slow down the pace,” Ash stated with a drag in his voice.
After a while May asked, “I thought Pokemon are supposed to be in their Pokeballs, why isn’t Pikachu in one?”

“Oh Pikachu, likes to stay outside with me,” Ash answered.

“Hey, May do you know anything about your Torchic?” I asked.

“Well that you mention it, no I don’t,” May replied.

“Then check it in the Poke’dex you have,” Ash told May.

“Oh yeah, I forgot about it, why don’t you check it too, Angela,” May said.

“Um, if you didn’t notice, I checked before that battle,” I told her.

“Oh ok then,” May said, taking out the red device, opening the flap, “Well it says it’s a fire type and it knows—"

“Hey what’s that?” I asked.

“What’s what?” May asked and suddenly stopped.

Poke’dex: Azuril, the water ball Pokemon, Auril is able to throw its tail like a lasso, using the momentum to move about and wander.

Azuril, was a mini mouse like Pokemon, a circular body, two small ears, black beady eyes, two white dots as cheeks, large tail, and mostly blue.

“It’s so cute, I want it,” May stated, with determination.

“Then try to catch it then,” Ash told her.

“This’ll be easy, I’ll just throw a Poke’ball and catch it,” May said confidently.

“Aren’t you supposed to—“ too late, May threw an empty Poke’ball at Auril, enveloping it in red light. The ball shook for a while, before it came out.

“Why didn’t the Poke’ball work?” May asked.

“You’re supposed to weaken it in a battle and then catch it,” Ash explained.

“I knew it!”
I exclaimed mentally.

“Oh, I-I kne-ew that!” May bluffed.

“Then battle it,” I said.

“Yeah, time for a battle!” May exclaimed, “Go, Torchic!”

The orange, flame chick, appeared, coming out of its Poke’ball. It seemed to be grooming itself, with its beak.

“Torchic, use, wait what were those attacks again?” May asked. Torchic didn’t wait for May’s command and went after Azuril. Man was it bold.

“Hey Torchic, wait up!” May cried. I sweat dropped, when Torchic ran into a tree.

“Ok it is either that Torchic is really stupid, or it’s really klutzy,” I thought.

“Torchic are you alright?”

“Hurry up May, or it’ll get away!” Ash cried. Torchich started to chase Azuril, around every bush and managed to pass many obstacles in its way.

“Um, now I remember!” May exclaimed, “Use, Peck!”

Torchic made a quick dash with its stubby legs, but it crashed into a rock, sadly, making me sweat drop even further. Torchic slowly gained its composure, for it to break again, into a cry.

“What are you crying for Torchic?” May asked, “Here, don’t cry,”

“Hurry, May, it’s running away again!” I told her.

“Ahh, after it!” May cried, Torchic running out of her arms, May tailing after it.

Small Time skip:

“Torchic, there you are!” May exclaimed. After she said that a blast of water came from Azuril and three other Pokemon. The first maintained a circular body like, Azuril, blue and white, with its black beading eyes, its tail grew smaler though. The other had an oval shape body, same blue and white, except some polka-dotted, its tail was relatively the same, and its black eyes were dull, but cute.

The blast of water sent Torchic flying into a tree, miserably falling against the trunk and on to the ground. May ran to it.

“Torchic are you ok?”

Azuril and the two others spitted out a blast of water out of their mouths, but, someone was actually ready.

“Pikachu, use Thunder Bolt!”

Pikachu charged electricity into its red cheeks before releasing it in a quick cry and burst. The Thunder Bolt hit the ground making an explosion, buying us some time, well if those three hadn’t escaped already.

“Say something anything,” May begged.

“See fire types like Torchic, are weak against water type attacks,” Ash explained.

“I feel so awful, what should I do about this Ash?”

“Then I think we should go to a Pokemon Center,” I told her.

“Yeah great idea, Angela!” Ash complemented.

“Then we should step on it!” May cried.

Time skip:

We were picking up the pace a bit, back on the dirt road, not really stopping for a break. It was finally we decided to stop a bit; man my poor legs were killing me. I wonder how Ash even manages to walk non-stop.

“Hey what’s that?” I asked, seeing a bush move a bit. The others stared at the bush too, seeing it move.

“Shroom!” A voice cried coming out of the bushes. A mushroom Pokemon came out of the bushes, its mushroom like body was tanish brown with green spots, on top was a clover like opening just like one from Bulbasaur, and it had small thick feet. I opened my Poke’dex, trying to find more information about it. The Poke, dex soon sorted through the information before giving the right one.

Poke’dex: Shroomish, the mushroom Pokemon, Shroomish lives in damp soil in the dark depths of forests. They are often found keeping still under fallen leaves. This Pokémon feeds on compost that is made up of fallen rotted leaves.

“A Shroomish, it looks like an interesting Pokemon,” Ash commented.
I sat up and stepped a few feet back from the bush. I grabbed Mudkip’s Pokeball from the strap on my bag and threw it in the air. Mudkip came out waving its fin-like head a bit.

“Angela?”

“I want to catch that Pokemon,” I stated calmly.

“OK then do it!” Ash cheered.

“C’mon Mudkip, let’s get a new friend!” I exclaimed.

“Mudkip!” Mudkip cried encouragingly.

“Mudkip start off with Water Gun!” I commanded. Mudkip cried happily, sending a blast of water at the mushroom Pokemon, sending it back.

“Charge into Tackle!” I cried. Mudkip soon changed from Water Gun into a charging forward motion. Mudkip made a mad dash before ramming into Shroomish into a tree.

“Shroo!”

“Go Pokeball!” I cried, throwing an empty Pokeball at the Pokemon. The Pokeball hit Shroomish, enveloping in a red light. The ball hit the ground shaking and beeping for a while, sending me on the edge. It finally stopped, and I felt relived and picked up the Pokeball.

“YAY! I caught a Shroomish!” I cried holding the Pokeball in triumph in the air.

“I never thought I would use the word ‘yay’ out loud,”
I thought.

“That was a great capture, Angela!” Ash complemented, “Unlike someone’s.”

“Hey, I’m just a beginner, I’ll get better!” May cried.

“Yeah eventually,” Ash muttered.

“What was that?!” May shouted.

Time skip:

We went on the road again, quickening the pace. Our pace soon turned from a light jog to a dash. I swear I have never ran this much in my life. It seemed like we were running for ours since now we were running upwards, up what seemed to be a hill. When we were near the top we saw a patch of rocks along the horizon.

“What are those rocks for?” Ash wondered when we arrived the foot of the hill, seeing the rocks up close. The rocks seemed to be an ancient ruins of some sort, since the pillars of rock surrounded mud, stone, like houses as well.

“They look like a bunch of old buildings, Ash,” May replied.

“Or maybe ruins of an ancient civilization,” I stated.

“Well who ever that young little miss is, she’s right, they are ruins, ruins of Odale to be exact,” A man answered, popping out of no where, making me jump back.

“Are these people trying to give me a hear attack!?” I screamed mentally. The man had brown spiky hair, hair that reached his neck, he wore brown long sleeved sweatshirt and sweat pants, and he also wore brown hiking boots.

“I’m Professor Alton, and I am here investigating these ruins,” The man introduced.

“Well, I’m Ash, this is May, and this is Angela, we were just going to the Pokemon Center,” Ash stated.

“Oh the Pokemon Center, it is just over there,” He pointed out, turning around using his finger to show where the Pokemon Center was.

“That’s great, thanks a bunch!” I stated.

“Yeah thanks,” May said.

“Well we better run!” Ash exclaimed. Ugh more running, when we just stopped. Man I am tired of this running, I wonder how Ash’s poor legs even survive with all that running. I bet his stomach is a bottom less pit too.

Time skip:

“Well I guess the registration is over with,” I thought.

“Your Torchic will be fine after a good night’s rest,” Nurse Joy stated.

“What a relief,” May breathed in a sigh.

“Do you feel better?” I asked, May nodded her head in reply.

Ash was about to walk away when he noticed we were just standing their.

“What’s wrong guys?” Ash asked.

“We don’t know our way around the Pokemon Center,” I stated.

“Oh then I’ll show you around, well after I call someone first,” Ash said with a smile.

Time skip (Again, so many time skips in this chapter):

“Hey Prof. Oak, I am here in Odale, I just registered for the Pokemon League,” Ash stated to the screen. The person he was talking to through the visual phone had white, tanish hair, his eyes were inhumanly large, he wore a lab coat, and a red top underneath, or something like that.

“That’s great, Ash,” Prof. Oak stated.

“Yep, and I can’t wait to get my first badge!” Ash said happily.

“It sounds like another big adventure for you,” Prof. Oak mused.

“That’s right,” May and I stated, decided to interrupt Ash’s phone call, “I’m May.”

“And, I’m Angela,” I introduced.

“Well, hello, May and Angela, I’m Prof. Oak, from Pallet Town,” Prof Oak introduced.

“Oh, I know you, my brother never misses any of your radio lectures, he would be so jealous if he found out I was talking to you,” May said.

“I’m from Viridian City, so I know who you are,” I told him.

“Viridian, so you are already an experienced Pokemon trainer?” Prof. Oak asked.

“Oh no, actually I don’t know how I ended up here in the first place,” I said.

“Hm interesting,” Prof. Oak mused.

“We’ll do out best, Prof. Oak, even if we are just beginning trainers,” May swore.

“With Ash with you, you two will do just fine,” Prof. Oak said, “I hope you have a successful journey.”

“Thanks professor,” We all said.

Click

“Well, let’s start the tour!” I cheered.

Ash stood up, renting a room first before showing us around. I still wonder why we didn’t book a room before even doing anything. I had no idea that the Pokemon Center had four floors, and that was if the Pokemon Center was small. They usually had at least 8-9 floors, well what Nurse Joy had explained. Ash had showed us where the trainers had slept upstairs, our room being the second floor. Soon we were entering the lobby, Ash was talking about.

“And this is the lobby,” Ash stated. “This is were people gather and share information.”

“You mean like the malls are, best places to eat are, best clothing stores are, and stuff like that?” May asked excitingly.

“I don’t think so,” I stated, “I bet it’s a place were trainers share information.”

“That’s exactly right Angela,” Ash said, “You’re picking up the trainer stuff quickly.”

No surprised, I was a quick learner, but didn’t really show it when I was in the Rocket of Academy, or what I liked to call it, the Academy of Doom for Pokemon. (Yes it was doom)

“I heard Petalberg City, has a new gym leader,” Someone said.

“Is that true?” Another person asked.

“Wow some information! New gym leader sounds interesting,” I thought.

“Guys, can you tell me who the new gym leader is?” Ash interjected.

May made a quick reaction and dragged him away from the lobby, I followed.

“What are you doing May? I was about to get some important information!” Ash complained.

“Can’t you tell that I’m hungry?” May asked.

“Strange, but I’m too lazy to question,” I thought lazily.

Time skip:

“The food is good,” May complemented. “Everything you want in one place!”

“Better than what I could whip up at home,” I thought. It was true, it was better than what I could make at home, but it was the fault of the lack of supply and money.

“But, remember May, this place is for trainers who need to rest up in between heavy training,” Ash reminded.

“But you’re getting ready for training and May and I are to you know,” I said.

“Well if you say it like that there’s no argument.”

“Well if it isn’t the weary travelers.”

We all turned to find Prof. Alton by our table.

“Are these people trying to scare the daylights out of me?” I asked mentally.

Prof. Alton got on to his conversation, explaining a little bit of his research, and Ash told more tales of his travels. His travels were entertaining, hearing him talk about Team Rocket was exciting too, getting to hear about he parents a bit more, and how they had no lives at all. Prof. Alton invited us to his temporary lab, to see what he was studying a bit up close.

“Who knew the Pokemon Center had a basement,” I thought, when Prof. Alton lead us to the place he was studying in.

“Hey is this the ruins we saw up on that hill?” Ash asked, spotting a picture of the ruin on the wall.

“Yep that’s right,” Prof. Alton said, “I am just lucky that Nurse Joy let me use this basement for research on these ruins.”

“You know there is a stone chamber within the heart of the ruins,” Prof. Alton mentioned, “and legend says that it is a portal between our world and the world of ancient Pokemon.”

“Fascinating,” I said. “I wonder if we can get inside.”

“The sad thing is if we try to force our way inside the ruins will crumble,” Prof. Alton continued, “so we don’t really know what is inside.”

“What do you mean by ancient Pokemon?” Ash asked.

“I’m not talking about fossilized Pokemon, but I’m talking about Pokemon that have been living since ancient times and haven’t changed one single bit,” Prof. Alton explained.

“Didn’t he tell us this already?” I thought.

“There are more to Pokemon than I thought,” May said.

“Most of the details about the ancient Pokemon are unknown, like how they eat and lived,” Prof. Alton stated.

“Ancient Pokemon, wish I could meat one,” Ash said.

“I bet you would want to meat the biggest ice cream in the world,” I thought.

“Well you’re in luck, Ash,” Prof. Alton said. “This tablet shows the correct way to enter the chamber.”

“You got to be kidding me,” I said amazed.

“Let’s go then!” May exclaimed.

“They are four keys to open that chamber that haven’t been found, so I’m afraid you have to wait a while,” Prof. Alton said.

“I really hope those keys are found really soon,” Ash said.

The lights seemed to flicker in the room, but the lights stopped, off, the room went black. Our eyes were wandering around the room.

“The lights,” May gasped.

BANG!

“What’s the meeting of this?” Prof. Alton gasped as we saw people enter the room. Three hound dog like Pokemon were in the room wearing bronze like armor, its white horns were thick white, and its black coat fit in with the darkness of the room.

They were at least four people new in the room wearing things I couldn’t really describe. I could have called it a cape, but what cape had a hood. Ok so they wore red top looking things, and had black bottoms. They were four, three female with a different shade of blue hair, and the other, who came in last, seemed to be the leader, male with semi pale, and tan skin. (Did I mention he was hot with his lean muscle he showed on his arms)

“Prof. Alton, why don’t you accompany us to a little field trip to the Odale Ruins,” The leader said in a deep voice.

“Wow hot voice to,” I thought.

“I won’t, I will do no such thing,” Prof. Alton said.

“So, I bet you don’t care for Nurse Joy, oh poor her,” The man said in fake pity. Another man showed up, with a way over exaggerated, muscular build, his skin was tan and he wore clothing similar to the other three. The similar black “M” did not escape my eye. The man held Nurse Joy hostage, nearly having her in a head lock. Prof. Alton let out a growl.

“Fine,” Prof. Alton let out a final growl.

The others grabbed our hands, forcing them behind out backs and made use immobile. The leader took a glance at me and held up my chin to look at his face, which was covered by some sort of shades.

“You’re a pretty cute one,” The leader complimented, then sighed, “Too bad you aren’t on our side. You would make a good wife.”

May sweat dropped.

They lead us to a storage room of some sort, but it was hard to tell since it was kind of dark in the halls. I swear I was going to get claustrophobia any second longer. Anyway they forced us in the storage room and slammed the door harshly.

“At least be a little gentler!” May complained who landed on her butt.

“Let us out!” Ash exclaimed banging the door.

“Yeah, Ash like banging the door and telling them to let us out will help,” I said sarcastically.

“What do they want?” May asked.

“Probably to get into that chamber,” Nurse Joy answered.

“Do you know those people Nurse Joy?” Ash asked.

“Of course not! She’s a nurse, it is not like she can catch up on villain news you know!” I mentally exclaimed.

“No, I don’t, but I bet they were the cause of the black out, cutting off our electricity,” Nurse Joy said, but then gasped, “That means the Pokemon being treated here, are going to be in great danger.”

“Great danger sounds so cheesy,” I thought.

“That means Torchic isn’t going to get better,” May gasped worriedly.

“Then we need to switch to reserve power,” Nurse Joy explained.

“The problem is, how are we supposed to get there,” I stated.

“Pika, Pika, Pi, Pikachu!” Pikachu cried form out of no where.

“Pikachu what’s up?” Ash asked waling to where it was. Pikachu
outstretched its paw and started to point to an air shaft.

“Wow that is one smart Pikachu,” I complimented.

“Thanks Angela,” Ash said, “Anyway let’s go through here.”

Time skip:

OK, we have been lost at least twice, but we quickly got back in track. Not to self: Ash, terrible leader through air shaft. Pikachu was thankfully leading us now. We got out of the air shafts and ended up at the front. We ran to the counter getting the master key while May switched over to reserve power.

“I switched it over to reserve power,” May exclaimed.

“And we got the master key,” Ash said.

“Then let’s go!” I exclaimed.

We navigated our way back to the storage room and fit the master key into the lock, opening the entrance. Nurse Joy gave a face of relief.

“Great guys,” Nurse Joy sighed in relief.

“We are going to help Prof. Alton,”

Time skip once again:

“Hey, there’s the ruin up ahead!” Ash shouted.

“There they go!” I pointed out. A chopper levitated in the air, picking up dust, before flying up in the night sky. We picked up our speed and we were now at the foot of the ruins and spotted Prof. Alton flat on his butt.

“Are you OK?” May asked Prof. Alton.

“Yeah, I’m just fine,” Prof. Alton said.

“Well that’s good,” I said.

“Who were they though?” Ash asked.

“Wobbafett!”

“What the heck is that?” I asked turned around to find Mom and Dad once again. I wished they had lives of their own.

“Team Rocket!” Ash exclaimed.

“And the treasures!”

“Looks like we have been discovered,” Jessie remarked, “Arbock go!”

“Wheezing, go!”

“Pika-"

“Ash, let me handle this,” I interrupted.

“Um, OK, but don’t forget to get the treasures,” Ash said.

The purple cobra hissed, and the patterns on its chest started to move a bit. Wheezing, which I guess was the purple puffball with two heads and a small body, let out poisonous gas. I reached for two Pokeballs on the strap of my bag and threw it in the air.

“Mudkip!”

“Shroo!”

“Shroomish, start things off with Leech Seed!” I commanded. Shroomish bowed a bit, firing seeds from its top, tangling Wheezing and Arbok. Red Energy soon zapped the two poison type Pokemon.

“Arbok, Poison Sting on that blue Pokemon!” Jessie commanded.

“Wheezing, Tackle!”

“Sroomish, Tackle, and Mudkip dodge and use Water Gun!”

Shroomish ran and met with Wheezing, and quickly attacked it before the poison Pokemon could. Meanwhile, Mudkip avoided the needles of poison and sent out a blast of water that sent Arbock a few feet back.

“Double Tackle!”

Shroomish and Mudkip mad a charge and rammed into Arbock and Wheezing sending it flying back to Jessie and James. The treasurers, colored jewels, flew out of their grasp and on to the ground away from them. Ash chose this time to finish things up.

“Tunderbolt!”

Pikachu charged electricity into its cheeks before sending it out in a cry. The yellow electricity hit Team Rocket, sparks could be heard in the air. An explosion quickly occurred and Tea rocket was sent flying in the sky.
Prof. Alton picked up the jewels and went in the ruins, we followed in pursuit. There was a stone inside the ruins with different holes. Picture of Pokemon cluttered the walls. Prof. Alton placed each jewel in each socket and smiled.

“They are back where they belong.”

The sun rose, light entered the ruins, the jewels reflected the sunlight and the whole ruin started to glow.

“It’s morning,” May exclaimed.

The light from the jewels spread around the room, light running along the walls. We all gasped in surprised, seeing the light run around the room, along the walls and back. The rock stone thing moved upwards revealing a staircase.

“Wow, a secret passage!” I shouted excitedly.

“Let’s go down!”

Prof. Alton walked down the set of stairs, May, Ash, and I followed. The staircase lead to an underground cavern with a giant lake inside.

“A cavern!” Prof. Alton stated excitedly.

“The water smells so clean and fresh,” May complimented.

“So true,” Ash agreed.

“I can feel air coming through here from the water,” I smiled.

SPLASH!

A fish with brown, gray, and rough scale jumped out of the water and jumped back in. We all stared in awe, seeing the Pokemon.

“The ancient Pokemon, Relicanth!” Prof. Alton pointed out, smiling.

“Relicanth,” Ash gasped.

“The rumors were true, this is a portal to our world to the world of the Ancient Pokemon,” Prof. Alton gasped.

At the Pokemon Center:

“Great news May,” Nurse Joy said. “Your Torchic is all better and healthy.”

“Oh thank you Nurse Joy!” May told her excitedly.

“And, Angela, your Pokemon are fine to,” Nurse Joy said handing me my Poke’balls.

“Why did you give Nurse Joy your Pokemon?” Ash asked. “They weren’t hurt at all.”

“It is what people call a check up, Ash,” I answered, putting my Poke’balls on the strap of my bag.

“Oh.”

“Nurse Joy, did you find anything about those crooks?” May asked.

“No, Officer Jenny is doing the best she can,” Nurse Joy replied.

“Oh I see,” I stated sadly.

“Well we better hit the road,” Ash said.

“Ash! Leaving so soon!?”

We turned to find Prof. Alton.

“Hi professor,” Ash greeted.

“How’s the research?” I asked.

“It’s coming along well,” Prof. Alton answered, “Every indication of data seems to lead the peacefulness of people and Pokemon.”

“That’s great!”

“Yeah, I know, I can hardly sleep,” Prof. Alton grinned, “Oh and Angela, if we meet on the road, or if you ever come back why not go out on a date with me?”

“A date? Am I really that pretty?” I thought mentally.

“Well we got to go!” May exclaimed dragging Ash and I away.

Time skip:

“Hey I never got to find this out,” Ash said, “I never found out who the Petalburg Gym Leader is.”

“Who knows,” May said to quickly.

“Liar!” I thought noticing May’s quick reply.

Great chapter! Angela is pretty funny.
May and Torchic did a horrible job trying to catch Azurill. :p

I am sorry to the readers for the slow update. Chapter 4 is still in the process of writing. And to add to the time delay my brother died Sunday, so this thread will probably be dead if I didn't post sooner or later. Anyway sorry for those readers who actually read this.

I am so sorry about your loss if ever you need anyone to talk you can talk to me.I know what it is like to lose someone so close to you.

Gathering responses for each chapter, I have come to a conclusion, no one seems to care. So I decided to take a break from writing for a while and to focus more on my life. When I get better, I'll post a fan fiction and I'll complete it. So for now, see you later! (I'll probably post one shots)
