I've been testing this since before ROS and have had a lot of fun with it, atm It has a lot of trouble keeping up with some decks but it just needs some work.

As a side note, I will not play shaymin in here, it defeats the purpose of the deck.

Pokemon
  • 4 Wobbuffet
  • 3-3 M Latios EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums
  • 3 Professor Sycamore
  • 3 Shauna
  • 2 Professor Birch's Observation
  • 1 Pokemon Fan Club
  • 4 VS Seeker
  • 3 Latios Spirit Link
  • 1 Lysandre
  • 4 Mega Turbo
  • 3 Switch
  • 4 Dimension Valley
  • 3 Enhanced Hammer
  • 3 Ultra Ball
  • 4 Trainers' Mail
Energy
  • 6 Psychic Energy
  • 2 Water Energy
  • 4 Double Dragon Energy
Strategy:

Essentially start with latios and fast raid or wobbuffet and setup 1-2 latios on the bench, setup by turn 2 and snipe, lysandre up various attackers, and wobbuffet takes the ohko on megas with psychic assault and dimension valley. Super simple and super playable, counters every deck with abilities except bats and has a dangerous speed advantage.

Actually looks pretty cool, I'd imagine the decks that give it trouble ares just ones that score immediate OHKO's like M Ray or item lock with Hammers to stop Latios from getting off a second attack.

Not sure what else to say without testing this myself, but looking solid atm.

I think it's worth the slot, but I can't think of what to take out for it.

I'll have to give this a shot. Ive tried to make M Latios work. Sorry he doesn't. It's just too inconsistent with draws and Energy Denial is so good. Bye to DDE and Dragons in general. LTC banning hurt them real bad.

The counter to your statement is knowing what and when to play down something when you have the cards in hand. A simple thing to refer to is accelgor/trevenant, never play a DCE down until you deck and cover. LTC never hurt any deck, toad still won after LTC left, rayquaza did better after LTC left and etc. It's easy to make excuses for why something sucks but never come up with a viable way to play it.

Here are my suggestions for the deck:
-1 Shauna (To max out Sycamore)
-1 Pokemon Fan Club (it should be easy to get out a Wobbuffet and a Latios with Ultra Balls so I doubt you will need this card)
-1 Mega Turbo (4 is excessive when you only need a DDE+energy to use Sonic Ace)

+1 Sycamore
+1 Lysandre
+1 of your choice: There are many good additions you could make like Bunnelby PRC to recover DDEs, Hex Maniac to be able to attack Giratina EX or a 4th Ultra Ball.

wobb and e. hammers combats giratina, I'm starting to not like maxed out numbers of sycamore anymore. The base strategy of N/juniper synergy days are gone and shauna/sycamore isn't viable, it seems more like shauna additional draw supporters, and with sycamore tends to find running risks is an issue and the bunnleby tech is then seen viable in every deck. That may have worked for darkrai at the time but as of right now, there is just to many solid attackers in this format and sustainable strategies that get around a weak active and eliminate an effective attacker or free prizes such as shaymin. I can give thanks to winning my games by that way and also not due to how many games I've lost to running that strategy. I think if anything it needs more testing but I'm not interested in going down that route.
