Ch. 1: The Hunters
Len looked up at the sky. He looked down at his feet. He was changing. He was someone new. He was not himself anymore!
Len: Mom, when are we going?
Len didn’t hear an answer yet.
Laura: Hey Len, what’ up?
Len: We are moving….
Laura: What? Why didn’t you tell me? Well, where are you moving?
Len: I don’t know, it’s all a giant mystery!
Laura: Oh, well, I’m moving too, isn’t that weird, and my parents told me it is a mystery too….
Len: That’s really weird.
Kyta (Len’s Mom): Oh Len, we are going in 20 min-oh hi Laura, how is it going?
Laura: I’m ok…wait, why are my parents and you guys are moving the same time as we are?
Len: What do you think? It’s a surprise….
Laura: Funny sarcasm.
Kyta: Oh come on, can’t you two get along?
Len: Mom…sarcasm!
Kyta: Oh whatever.
Laura: well, wherever we are going I guess I’ll see you soon?
Len: Ya, sure.
20 minutes had passed and Len went into the car with his sister, mom, and dad.
Len: Dad, now can you tell me where we are moving?
Arcath (Len’s Dad): We are going to go to-
Arcath wasn’t looking where he was driving and they went on some train tracks when they weren’t supposed to and crash!
Len: Uhh, dad?
Len got up. He was bleeding everywhere and his hand was broken.
Len: Dad, where are you?
An ambulance had come and taken him. Same with his sister and mom, but his had was nowhere to be found.
Len: Dad, where are you? Dad!
Len had fallen unconscious. He had then woken up in the hospital.
Laura: Len, are you alright?
Len: I can’t feel my arm, but everything else is fine. What happened? Where is my dad?
Laura: Well, your dad was not looking where he was driving and a train hit you. Your dad wasn’t found and your sister and mom are in a different room.
Len: No, dad! He can’t be dead! He body had to be there, there was no explosion, it can’t just disappear!
Laura: I’m sorry Len, but your dad is most likely, dead.
Len: No!
Len started to cry. It was as if his whole life just came apart.
Laura: I’ll leave you alone for now.
Len: No wait! I might not ever get out of here.
Len then pulled her towards him and kissed her. Laura was speechless.
Laura: Len, I hope you feel better soon.
Len fell unconscious once again. He woke up 3 years later.
Len: Ugh, where am I? Where is my mom? Or Laura or my sister?
Kyta: Oh my god! Len, you have finally woken up!
Len: How long has it been? Where’s, where’s Laura?
Kyta: She, she is in the Indigo Mountains. That is where we were going to move.
Len: And, Tashira? Where is she?
Kyta: Your sister, she, died.
Len: Why, why didn’t I die too! This isn’t fair! Tashira is younger than me, she deserves to live more! When did she die?
Kyta: She died a little after you went into your coma, about 2 years and 8 months ago. She had internal bleeding and the doctors couldn’t save her.
Len: Tell Laura to come here.
Kyta: Alright, I’ll go.
2 hours had passed and Laura had walked into the room.
Laura: Oh my, Len, I can’t believe it, I never lost hope!
Len: So, how’s life in the Indigo Mountains?
Laura: It would have been better with you!
Len: How old are you? How old am I now?
Laura: We are both Sixteen, you went into the coma when you were 13.
Len: When can I go?
Doctor: Hello Len, you have just woken up from a 3 year coma.
Len: Tell me something I don’t know!
Doctor: Well, you can leave in about 2 hours, everything is healed.
2 hours had passed and Laura and Len had left the hospital. Kyta drove them both to Indigo Mountain.
Laura: Mom, Dad, its Len!
It started to storm outside. The skies became much darker.
Denver (Laura’s Mom): Len, we never stopped hoping that you would come back! I can’t believe it, you are finally here!
Jack (Laura’s Dad): Wow, Len, you have grown so much, and you lost lots of weight from that coma.
Len: I can’t really remember, but I know my dad isn’t dead. They never found his body, meaning they can’t pronounce him dead!
Jack: I’m sorry Len, but there is no way he is dead, and why would he hide from you?
Len stepped out of the house. He started to venture into the forest and all the rain started to pour down at him.
Laura: Len, come back!
Laura followed Len until she lost track of him.
Laura: Len, come back.
Len had gone to the top of the Indigo Mountains. He kept punching the rocks with his hands. They started to bleed but the rain had washed everything. But he still kept punching and didn’t stop! Little chips of the rock came off every second. Then Len slammed it extremely hard and the whole rock broke. He then saw something shining. He picked it up. He put it in his pocket and headed back.
Laura: Len, where have you been? We’ve been worried sick!
Len: Laura, come here, I found something while I was there. Come out here.
Laura followed Len and they went back into the forest.
Laura: Well, what is it?
Len: I don’t know….but it seems like some sort of artifact.
Laura: Where did you find it?
Len: Up in the mountains.
Laura: Well, its dinner time right now, I have to go; you can come back whenever you want.
Len: Alright, I’ll be back soon.
Laura went back home. Len examined the little item he had. Then there was a big flash! Len looked at his arm, his whole body, and he was in armor.
Len: What, what is this?
Len’s armor was the color yellow. It wasn’t fully yellow. The armor was customized for his body, as if he was meant to find it. He looked at the item he had found. It was now attached to his hand. He pulled it out and there was another big flash. He had returned back to normal! Len ran back to Laura’s house and he had dinner with them. He was sleeping in the guest room. At night, he woke up Laura.
Len: Laura, I need you to come, quickly!
Laura followed Len back to the forest. He had done the exact same thing he had done before. The flash blinded Laura. She opened her eyes, and she saw Len covered in the dark-yellow armor.
Laura: Len, what, what is this?
Len: It is the artifact, it is some kind of special armor, I was given it for a reason!
Laura: Obviously for some reason, it is customized exactly for your body!
Len: You think its destiny?
Laura: Could be?
Len: Well, I am tired right now, let’s go to bed.
Laura followed Len back to the house. In the morning Laura walked into Len’s room, but he wasn’t there!
Laura: Len! Len! Len!
She shouted all around the house, but he was nowhere to be found.
Laura: Mom, have you seen Len?
Denver: Nope, is he not in bed?
Laura: No, he’s not; I am going out to search!
Laura ran out of the house and went to where Len had found his item. She saw the broken rock where Len had been punching at.
Laura: So, it was hidden in a rock. How weird….
Then a sparkle caught Laura’s eye. She picked it up and it looked exactly like Len’s except a different color! Then a giant flash occurred! She looked at herself, and she was coated with armor too, it was snowy icy color.
Laura: This, this must be what Len had too. I have to find him.
Laura jumped up in the air and the ice had caught her feet. She was standing on ice. But she didn’t even do anything! Then she jumped again and another coat of ice appeared under her feet. She then jumped up in the air but there was no coat of ice. She was flying. The icy Aura was letting her fly.
Laura: I can’t believe this?!
Laura saw lightning marks in the air. That must have been Len’s trail. Laura flew and followed the trail. She found Len surrounded 3 Hunters!
Laura: Len, let’s go! We can’t hurt them!
Len: Just try me!
Len took out his lightning blade and stabbed one of them. That hunter fell to the ground and he was dead. The two other hunters took out their Silver Blades and came rushing at Len. One was attacking him at the ground and one attacking at the head. Len ducked down and stabbed the one at the ground then uppercut the other one with the sword. He defeated both of them.
Len: You see Laura, I’m fine.
Laura: What, what was that?
Len: Those were hunters. They come after us. They have armor like us, but those were grunts. They don’t have a specific special thing, they just fight.
Laura: Are you saying there are more like us?
Len: Us?
Len looked at Laura and saw that she had armor too.
Len: I didn’t know, when did this happen?
Laura: Ya, when I came searching for you I found it, I have the ice element.
Len: I have the lightning element.
Laura: Let’s head back.
Len: Why do you think I came out here?
Laura: You have to come back!
Len: No, I am here to find my father, I know he isn’t dead!
Then more hunters appeared on the spot. One of them opened his mask.
Hunter G: So, you guys are the ones that killed the 3 hunters? Well, you won’t live now!
Hunter G blasted a Dark Wave and hit Len.
Laura: Don’t you dare!
Laura used an ice blast and froze Hunter G! Then she shot icicles at the other ones and it stabbed all of them. Then she powered up all her energy into her hand and she pointed her palm at Hunter G. Then she let her power explode. The ice blew up and so did Hunter G.
Len: Whoa, Laura, nice job!
Laura: Thank you, but I have no idea how I did that!
Len: It’s alright, so, you think you are still going home?
Laura: Alright, let’s go.
Chapter 2: The Team of 3
Len and Laura had been flying for quite a while now and it was getting late. They found some berries and ate them. They then camped out in the middle of nowhere and went to sleep.
Laura: Wake up Len, someone’s here!
Len quickly got up and got into his armor.
Len: Who’s there?
Laura also got into her armor.
Laura: What do you want from us?!
Then 3 kids, couldn’t have been older than them had appeared. They then got into their armor too!
Solin: I am Solin, Tamer of Water!
Ryan: I am Ryan, Tamer of Grass!
Kirara: I am Kirara, Tamer of Fire!
Len: Well, my name is Len, Tamer of Lightning!
Laura: My name is Laura, Tamer of Ice!
Kirara: So, have you guys seen any hunters around here lately?
Len: Well, this is our first night here so we haven’t seen anything.
Laura: Ya, exactly what Len had said.
Kirara: Alright, thanks, we will be on our way!
Laura: Wait, what about you guys, have you fought any hunters?
Solin: Fought any hunters? That is what we do, fight hunters!
Len: Well, it was nice meeting you guys, I guess. Have you met any others like us?
Ryan: Nope, so far it’s only you guys.
Len: Oh alright, well, I guess we’ll see you around?
Kirara: Yep, I guess.
Kirara, Ryan, and Solin flew in the air and then disappeared.
Laura: You see, there are others like us!
Len: Yep, I guess so. So, our destiny is to defeat the Hunters. But they keep coming and coming!
Laura: Well, I guess only fate will lead us the rate way!
Laura and Len flew away out of the forest. Then they saw Kirara, Solin, and Ryan fighting Hunters. They quickly dropped down to help them.
Len: You guys need help?
Solin: As much as we can get! Aqua Tundra!
Solin blasted all of them with a giant water attack. Then Laura froze all of them! Kirara then burned them down! The Hunters attacked Len and thought that they had him, but they didn’t. He used his mouth and got out his blade and slashed The Hunter. Len quickly regained power and killed that Hunter. Eventually, after tons of fighting, they killed the hunters once and for all. Then the head Hunter appeared. All his men were dead until he used Lightning Rejuvenation! This brought all his men back!
Solin: Well, what now?
Kirara: We kill them again and this time with the boss!
Kirara took out her Burning Blade; Ryan took out his Solar Blade, Solin took out her Aqua Blade, Len took out his Lightning Blade, and Laura took out her Icy Blade! Kirara stabbed a few and so did Solin. Laura was grabbed by one of the hunters but she used Icy Wind from her mouth and froze him! She then stabbed him with the Icy Blade. Len and Ryan played double team and killed almost half of the people together. The only one left was the boss again. He then started to laugh maniacally.
Boss: Haha, you fools, you can’t beat me in my super form!
The boss became gigantic. Everyone stood still.
Ryan: If we won’t move he won’t see us….
Len: This is no time for jokes, but that was kind of funny.
Kirara: Guys!
Kirara jumped on Solin’s shoulders and took out her blade and stabbed him in the head. There was a giant explosion after that and they all flew back. When they woke up, they were captured!
Hunter G: So, we meet again!
Len: I thought I killed you!?
Hunter G: You did not kill me well enough! May I do the honors of killing them?
Just then, Laura used her super Icy Breath and froze all of them. This gave them just enough time to escape! Eventually, Hunter G became unfrozen and unfroze everyone else!
Hunter G: They escaped! You fool’s!
Kirara, Solin, Len, Ryan, and Laura powered up all their power into their swords and blasted their base!
Hunter G: You fool’s cost us our lives! You should have killed them!
The whole base exploded into a fury of fire and bodies and blood were everywhere. They had destroyed an army of Hunters!
Kirara: Alright, that was an amazing plan Laura, you saved us!
Laura: Thank you……
Hunter G appeared in front of them.
Kirara: You, what do you want?!
Kirara took out her blade!
Hunter G: I am going to kill-
Kirara had stabbed him before he could finish his sentence or do anything to them. Hunter G slid off her sword and fell to the ground with all the other bodies. They had to escape fast though, because soon more Hunter’s will appear in that area! All 5 of them flew away to safety!
Len: Nice job everyone, you all deserve an Orange, I took a few with me before me and Laura left.
Everyone took their orange and ate it. But they had to get going soon, they weren’t far enough from the Hunter incident, soon, more will come to this area. It is weird that no normal human has ever seen a Hunter.
Len: So, where should we go next?
Kirara: I think we should break apart now, and go our separate ways because we might hold each other down.
Laura: Are you sure? What if something like that happens again? We make a good team, don’t we?
Solin: Sorry, but I am going to have to agree to Kirara.
Ryan: Me too, it was nice seeing you guys though, see you later.
Laura and Len waved goodbye as the sun went down. Laura and Len went the opposite way that Kirara’s group went. Laura and Len reached this tribe. They settled there for some days until the Hunters cam and killed everyone except Len, Laura, and the family that lived underground. The Hunters never found them thankfully and they left the area.
Winry: So, you say you guys would have save our tribe if you were not asleep?
Len: Yep.
Laura: Mhhmm.
Winry: Well, I was asleep too so I couldn’t help either…
Laura: Wait a sec, you have the armor?
Winry: Yep, I have the Wind Armor!
Len: Oh, I have the Lightning Armor.
Laura: Ya, and I have the Ice Armor!
Winry: Wow, I thought I was the only one.
Len: No way, we met 3 other people too!
Laura: Would you like to journey with us?
Winry: Sorry, but my life is here with the tribe. I always have to protect them from the Hunters!
Len: Well, that’s alright, but we have to get going!
Laura and Len left. They headed out when they heard a giant explosion from far away, but they heard it, they couldn’t see it, but they heard it!

Then the head Hunter appeared. All his men were dead until he used Lightning Rejuvenation! This brought all his men back!
Solin: Well, what now?
Kirara: We kill them again and this time with the boss!
Kirara took out her Burning Blade; Ryan took out his Solar Blade, Solin took out her Aqua Blade, Len took out his Lightning Blade, and Laura took out her Icy Blade! Kirara stabbed a few and so did Solin. Laura was grabbed by one of the hunters but she used Icy Wind from her mouth and froze him! She then stabbed him with the Icy Blade. Len and Ryan played double team and killed almost half of the people together. The only one left was the boss again. He then started to laugh maniacally.
Boss: Haha, you fools, you can’t beat me in my super form!
The boss became gigantic. Everyone stood still.
Ryan: If we won’t move he won’t see us….
Len: This is no time for jokes, but that was kind of funny.
Kirara: Guys!
Kirara jumped on Solin’s shoulders and took out her blade and stabbed him in the head. There was a giant explosion after that and they all flew back. When they woke up, they were captured!
Hunter G: So, we meet again!
Len: I thought I killed you!?
Hunter G: You did not kill me well enough! May I do the honors of killing them?
Just then, Laura used her super Icy Breath and froze all of them. This gave them just enough time to escape! Eventually, Hunter G became unfrozen and unfroze everyone else!
Hunter G: They escaped! You fool’s!
Kirara, Solin, Len, Ryan, and Laura powered up all their power into their swords and blasted their base!
Hunter G: You fool’s cost us our lives! You should have killed them!
The whole base exploded into a fury of fire and bodies and blood were everywhere. They had destroyed an army of Hunters!
Kirara: Alright, that was an amazing plan Laura, you saved us!
Laura: Thank you……
Hunter G appeared in front of them.
Kirara: You, what do you want?!
Kirara took out her blade!
Hunter G: I am going to kill-
Kirara had stabbed him before he could finish his sentence or do anything to them. Hunter G slid off her sword and fell to the ground with all the other bodies. They had to escape fast though, because soon more Hunter’s will appear in that area! All 5 of them flew away to safety!
Len: Nice job everyone, you all deserve an Orange, I took a few with me before me and Laura left.
Everyone took their orange and ate it. But they had to get going soon, they weren’t far enough from the Hunter incident, soon, more will come to this area. It is weird that no normal human has ever seen a Hunter.
Len: So, where should we go next?
Kirara: I think we should break apart now, and go our separate ways because we might hold each other down.
Laura: Are you sure? What if something like that happens again? We make a good team, don’t we?
Solin: Sorry, but I am going to have to agree to Kirara.
Ryan: Me too, it was nice seeing you guys though, see you later.
Laura and Len waved goodbye as the sun went down. Laura and Len went the opposite way that Kirara’s group went. Laura and Len reached this tribe. They settled there for some days until the Hunters cam and killed everyone except Len, Laura, and the family that lived underground. The Hunters never found them thankfully and they left the area.
Winry: So, you say you guys would have save our tribe if you were not asleep?
Len: Yep.
Laura: Mhhmm.
Winry: Well, I was asleep too so I couldn’t help either…
Laura: Wait a sec, you have the armor?
Winry: Yep, I have the Wind Armor!
Len: Oh, I have the Lightning Armor.
Laura: Ya, and I have the Ice Armor!
Winry: Wow, I thought I was the only one.
Len: No way, we met 3 other people too!
Laura: Would you like to journey with us?
Winry: Sorry, but my life is here with the tribe. I always have to protect them from the Hunters!
Len: Well, that’s alright, but we have to get going!
Laura and Len left. They headed out when they heard a giant explosion from far away, but they heard it, they couldn’t see it, but they heard it!
Len: What was that?
Laura: I don’t know?!
Winry: Did you guys hear that?
Laura: You heard it too? What was that?
Len: I don’t know, but we have to go and find out!
Len, Laura, and Winry headed towards the place where they had heard the explosion!
