10 Years Ago. A game was released. This game, was a game that truly showed it's colors like many other games. This game, Gave us childhood memories, whether funny, scared, or just enlightment of memories. This game, truly has a place in my life and heart. This game is The Legend Of Zelda Majora's Mask. <3

Majora's Mask is easily my favorite game in the series - the only other one that even comes close is Link to the Past. The mood and atmosphere were great, and it was probably one of the first games to make me care about the NPCs.

Also, it has one of the most terrifying Game Over sequences ever. That's always a plus.

Bleh... I can't be bothered to beat that godforsaken game. I did enough to drag myself to Great Bay Temple, and now... Ew...

^ I know what you mean...
^^Yeah, when I'm about to die, I start button mashing. It works (sorta)
Majora's Mask is really fun, but I prefer the Wind Waker. I just LOVE the art style, the tropical-ness, The boat, EVERYTHING!! One of my favorites.

ITT: People fail to appreciate Majora's Mask.

Has anyone watched the Haunted Majora's Mask ARG? It is basically awesome.

WindWaker wasn't too amazing. I borrowed it from my friend and got pretty bored getting to the earth temple. Twilight Princess and OoT were much more my style.

^^The reason I love it so much is because I got it right when it came out with my GC, making it the second game I ever played (after Ruby). Whenever I play it, it reminds me of my cousins. And personally, I would take the sea over Hyrule Field. A boat over Epona, now that's a hard choice.
I think that all Zelda games are created equal (with the exceptions of the CD-I games, those suck), because they are all sweet in their own way.
lol, I never finished TP, I stopped on the water temple. I should go beat that now.

D:

Anyway, moved to the Video Games sub forum for obvious reasons. I've only played Majora's Mask at a friend's house, though we couldn't get past the first boss fight with the Skull Kid (At least I think it was a boss fight.) It's definitely on my VC wish list, though.

My thoughts exactly :p

But as for Majora...I just started a new file today. I'm attempting a three-heart run this time around. So far, I've cleared Woodfall Temple with no problems...though for whatever reason, Odolwa was a lot harder than I remember him being.

Majora's Mask is definitely underrated, though. Its older brother gets too much attention sometimes...

I do not like Majoria Mask to much. My favorite ones are Twilight Princess, Minished Cap, and A Link to Past. I enjoy the Oracle of Season, and Ages too.

Majora's Mask is still my favorite Legend of Zelda game, along with A Link To The Past. (Zenith and I think alike on this matter, I guess.) It introduced my favorite Legend of Zelda character of all time, Fierce Deity. I really wish they'd include him in more games (like in a Smash Brothers game, or something), but that's never going to happen, I guess.

Unfortunately I can't really play Majora's Mask anymore since my N64's controllers are all on their last legs, so maybe one day I'll be able to get it on the Wii.

Majora's Mask is pro stuff. It was actually a hard game to sit down and get eeeeverything all settled and done. It was definitely more of a challenge as you didn't have ALL day to run around and do everything and take your time. Song of Time became the real saving grace of that game. Oh mai.

Although I really wish there would have been more dungeons and the like. It was short, even with all the running around that you had to do. 4 dungeons D: But that game had CLASS that even Master Quest couldn't look up to, and there were some realllly frustrating parts of that game.

Oh, so much to love about this game.... 8D

Majora's Mask is such an amazing game. It was really inventive and fun, and created one of my favorite Zelda game worlds. I loved the whole crazy, surreal, unlimited-by-logic world of Termina and all of the events and characters involved. It's not my favorite Zelda game (WW is <3), but it certainly at least ties for second.

I loved how boldly weird it was, too. It definitely had some of the most bizzare and disturbing events in the series, I think.

And the music! It had lots of great songs; the Song of Healing is actually my favorite Zelda song (which means one of my favorite video game songs (which of course means one of my favorite songs of all :\))

But I think my favorite thing about Majora's Mask is its deep story undertones. They're subtle so as to not detract from the gameplay experience, but they're most certainly there. There's a whole lot of thought-provoking symbolism used throughout it (particularly in the trippy final part of the game, but even in the very design of the world) that ties together for some interesting literary implications. When I think of video games as being a unique literary medium, Majora's Mask is one of the games that always comes to mind. But hey, I'll let Hylian Dan do the explaining -

The Message of Majora's Mask

I never did beat the first level :/

My favorite so far is Twilight Princess, but I also enjoyed Spirit Tracks.

@Pokeman: Minish Cap lol. For me it was OK, but definatly not the best IMO.
