What do you think the best combo would be for these rules:

A) You may run as many of a Pokemon as you like
B) You may not play any Trainer cards. (T-I, T-S OR T-s)
C) 30 card (or 40 card) decks.

My deck idea would be:

4-4-4 Magnezone
3-3 Floatzel

18 pokemon

7 electric
15 water energy

22 energy

With no tss a good starter will become even more vital. I recommend either cleffa to substitute for PONT or stantler to stand in for collector/dual ball.

Changes

-1-1-1 Magnezone line
-2 Electric energy
-1 Water enery

+4 stantler/cleffa
+2 Rescue energy. The rescue energy is because you are now running a thiner magnezone line

Bwaaaa

The problem with Magnezone is that you won't be able to put out more than 50 damage consistently. Or even that much may be tough.

I'd play Donphan Prime... if you can have as many of a Pokémon as you'd like, just play

11-11 Donphan Prime (HGSS Phanpy)
18 Fighting Energy

...and you should be good to go. No worrying about getting energy on or anything, and benched Donphan protect themselves from attacks from your active one.

Sheesh, if that's the case then I'd be running like 4-4 Magmortar and all other energies......hehe you get my idea?

maby 7 Full KGL and then the rest water energys and just deck them out =D

The only problem would be that you can't start with a LEGEND type pokémon (see the rulebook for refference if needed)...

Personally I think Cinccinno (or whatever it's written) would make a good contender too, or if you think you can manage it, why not Jumpluff?

Basic/stage 1 decks rule here, so anything varying from floatzel/laturn/allomolla to donphan/yanmega goes well I guess...! :D have fun!

ZPS would totally own here. With 10 copies of Zekrom and like, 7 or so copies of pachi and shaymin you won't have to worry about not having collectors or dual balls, and you could just make the rest energy to almost guarentee getting 3 t1. It would be able to Bolt Strike t1 really often and that's really good, although it'd have trouble with that all out donphan deck.

^ that would suck if you get all Pokemon hands though.

I say use Pokemon that require little energy to hit hard and just have fun. Druddigon would be great. Also, Pokemon who's moves have very trainerlike effects are welcome. Shelmet + Karrablast combo is very nice.

Durant would kick butt.

20 Psyduck, 20 water energy. Fool-proof. Just keep flipping heads and kill their babiez.

grass engine with sunflora would be great
also magnezone prime for consistent draw and cleffa for starter and hand refresher
